 ‘Il Fisarmonicista’ is a new recording from Graham Geddes (accordion, keyboard, V3 sound module) and Dave Morrice (guitar and violin). Graham Geddes and Dave Morrice, best known for playing Scottish dance music, here play Continental and Latin American music, with some jazzy touches for effect. Accordion is the lead instrument throughout, with guitar or violin in support, and all underpinned by Latin or other rhythms from the keyboard to create a small combo sound. Tracks: ‘Bossa Dorado’, ‘Ballade Rabouine’, ‘My Blue Heaven’/‘Blue Skies’, ‘Caravan’/‘Brazil’, ‘Dutch Maid Waltz’, ‘Out of Nowhere’/‘Midnight in Moscow’/‘Lady Be Good’, ‘La Vie En Rose’, ‘Tico Tico’, ‘The Gentleman’, ‘Autumn in Rome’. This music for a hot summer’s day or evening, but will also be useful for those cold winters’ days when some sunshine is needed to brighten one’s mood. ‘Il Fisarmonicista’ is available either as a CD or as a download from Graham Geddes.
