Tuesday 2nd October Daily Report

Artist category jury (left to right): Chen Jun, Xu Dawei, Cao Xiao Qing, Elsbeth Moser, Wang Yuping, Friedrich Lips, Liu Wenlin, Franck Angelis and Zhang Guoping. Competitions started today with the childrens and under 18 categories starting in the morning and going all day. In the afternoon, the Artist category began. In the afternoon, 7 candidates played and the other 16 candidates play tomorrow. After the first round, the jury then decide who is accepted into the second round of the competition which is being held on the 5th October with the 3rd round of the Artist category being held on the 6th October. After dinner we walked to the nearby concert hall. Crystal Wang with three students Crystal Wang and Bao Yang

After talking with some of the jury (photo above) our young competitor was then seen taking pictures with mothers camera. Frederic Deschamps setting up the video camera to record some of the concert for the Deschamps Channel.

On stage were two different banners for this event. The announcer, looking very smart in her bright red dress as she opened the concert and introduced.

Xu Xiaonan (China) fresh from winning the Castelfidardo Premio last week and the Coupe Mondiale in August
was in masteful form. The audience enjoyed his program very much.

Mateo put on a nicely paced program of Variety Entertainment music that the audience appreciated very much. Below the flower presentation and an encore.
