This is not a CD for lovers of classical music, but rather a CD for the "Joe Average" easy listener who likes music on the back porch. There is no heavy meaning, simply just whistle along the tunes we all know, after a hard days work. The "honky-tonk" piano sounds great doing its fills and backings. There was also an interesting change in "Mexicali Rose" being played in 4/4 time - originally it is a Jazz Waltz. A very relaxing, easy listening CD for your enjoyment. |
