On this recording Jerome presents himself as a great "variety"
musician and improviser, although he is also a classical accordionist as
well. What an exceptional accordionist! In so many ways Jerome's performance
is brought to the level of perfection and I would like to point out the
two aspects which made a big impression on me.
The first would be his improvising skills. Jerome's improvisations are so
mature and at the same time they are performed with such a youthfulness
that the mix of these two elements leaves an extraordinary impression on
the listener, and gives that special sense of spirituality.
The second aspect of his performance is his absolute technical superiority.
I felt that there is no technical demand that Jerome cannot meet.
Breathless technical freedom together with great accompaniment, spirituality
and good musical taste style wise, makes this recording a great and enjoyable
