What a GREAT jazz accordionist! First of all I loved Emanuele's choice of pieces for this CD. He offers great variety of styles which makes this recording very entertaining and interesting. As a jazz accordionist, Emanuele is very talented and an interesting improviser. The type of jazz he plays is also very pleasant to listen to as it is "light" rather then heavy, ultra modern jazz. Emanuele and his band sound very professional and the general sound picture they produce is very sophisticated. They sound fiery, taking a listener away with the music! As well as playing very musically, Emanuele solves all technical aspects with great ease, in fact his technical freedom is just amazing! An excellent buy for lovers of great jazz accordion.
