Those Darn Accordions about themselves: "HOME BASE: San Francisco, California, USA PERSONNEL: Six accordion players plus drums and bass guitar. TDA!'s MUSIC IS: twisted originals about bowling, Lawrence Welk and Japanese sci-fi movies. The group also plays the requisite pumped-up polkas, as well as whacked-out versions of classic rock'n'roll songs. FAVORITE FASHION STATEMENTS: Big hair, silver suits, petticoats, spectacular spectacles, platform boots and Clyde's tattoos......." Well, TDA's! are good fun and crazy! I had really good time listening to them. In my opinion, they would probably fall into the rock category but they play not only rock. They also play some 'light' entertainment stuff which they play with very fine humour. What I like about TDA's! is that, although they are rock band, they always musically stay within the frames of good taste. They are good fun and weird ! |
