This vibrant and exciting duo of Russian musicians began their performing career in Holland in 1991. Since then the husband and wife team of Viacheslav and Natalia Semionov of Moscow have been in great demand internationally. Their travels include several tours of USA, Germany, Belgium, Poland, Norway, Sweden, Greece, Spain, Portugal, China, and other countries. Viacheslav Semionov, one of the greatest performers today, may rightly be called the founder of the modern performance school of bayan. He is equally successful both as a teacher and performer as well as a composer. His students have become national and international competition winners. His compositions have taken their place in the standard repertoire of accordionists world-wide. Natalia Semionov, graduated domra (Russian folk instrument) at the famed Gnessin Institute in Moscow, and won several competitions nationally. What an excellent duo! Their repertoire offers an exciting variety of styles, from the classics to traditional Russian folk music, ragtime to evocative romances, all performed with great artistry, taste, warmth and technical brilliance.
