This recording comes from Scotland. Jimmy Cassidy and Billy McGuire are both ex-Scottish Champion Accordionists. For this recording they selected a nice variety of continental pieces: some French waltzes, Swiss yodelling song, Samba, etc. It is actually quite a refreshing selection of the tunes, as it doesn't include stale accordion standards, such as: Tico Tico, Under Paris Skies, etc. I found that most refreshing.

This recording is easy listening, meant for enjoyment, relaxation and is very 'dancing friendly'. Billy and Jimmy are doing a professional job, their tempos are precise and well measured, in fact - just right, clarity is crystal clear, in other words - very enjoyable, classy entertainment. *****
