| Der 12. Internationale Wettbewerb für diatonisches Akkordeon (steirischer Typ) für Solisten wird vom 26. bis 29. Mai 2022 in der "Terme Olimia" in Podcetrtek, Slowenien, stattfinden. Die Veranstaltung wird vom Harmonikaverband Osterreichs (HVO) in Zusammenarbeit mit dem slowenischen Verband ZDHS, der Terme Olimia und Sudklang Harmonicas organisiert. Einsendeschluss ist der 6.  Das Jazz-Akkordeon-Festival (JAF), das von der Stadt Castelfidardo Assessorato alla Cultura organisiert wird, findet vom 8. bis 10. April 2022 statt.Nach der Verschiebung des Jahres 2021 aufgrund von Beschränkungen durch die Stadt, ist das JAF wieder da. "Wir wollen die musikalische Saison 2022 wieder aufnehmen, die den Balginstrumenten gewidmet ist", sagt der Stadtrat für Kultur von Castlelfidardo, Ruben Cittadini. Künstlerischer Leiter ist der bekannte Jazz-Akkordeonist Simone Zanchini. Am Freitag- und Samstagabend, 8. und 9. April, sind alle Musiker aufgefordert, an der "JAF-Session" teilzunehmen, einer Jam-Session im Free-Jazz-Stil mit Blasebalg und Standard-Jazzinstrumenten.  Video: Beltango Quinteto bei der Aufführung von "Felicia" komponiert von Enrique Saborido während des La Locura Tango Musik Festivals 2021.Beltango begann ihre Frühjahrstournee am 24. März und wird Konzerte in Portugal, Frankreich, Deutschland und Österreich geben. Die Bandmitglieder Aleksandar Nikolic (Bandoneon), Ivana Nikolic (Klavier & Gesang), Antonija Barna (Violine), Bogdan Pejic (Gitarre) und Petar Holik (Kontrabass) spielen eine Vielzahl von traditionellen Tangostücken, Tango-Nuevo, zeitgenössischem Tango und Balkango.  Das British College of Accordionists (BCA), unter der Leitung von Raymond Bodell, wird im Mai dieses Jahres sein 2022 Anniversary Festival online veranstalten.Die Veranstaltung umfasst einen nationalen Solowettbewerb für jede der 12 Prüfungsstufen und einen internationalen Wettbewerb für Solisten aller Altersgruppen sowie für Junior- und Senior-Ensembles. Der Einsendeschluss für die Videos ist der 15. April 2022. Die Wettbewerbsvideos werden dann an die Jurymitglieder weitergeleitet. Die Videos werden von den nationalen und internationalen Jurymitgliedern anhand der Bewertungskriterien des BCA beurteilt, wobei jede Darbietung mit einer Note von 100 bewertet wird. Jedes Jurymitglied wird seine Noten an das BCA übermitteln und das Ergebnis wird für alle Kategorien am Sonntag, den 15. Mai 2022, berechnet und veröffentlicht. | Kim und Dan Christian laden alle zu ihrem Albuquerque Accordion Extravaganza and Band Camp ein, das vom 12. bis 14. Mai 2022 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, stattfinden wird. Bei der unterhaltsamen, interaktiven 3-tägigen Veranstaltung werden die Teilnehmer mit Leuten aus den ganzen USA zusammenarbeiten, um vor einem dankbaren und energiegeladenen Publikum ein großartiges und unterhaltsames Musikprogramm aufzuführen. Die Band wird von dem berühmten Schlagzeuger aus Las Vegas, Rich Delabio, begleitet. Auf dem Programm des Orchesters stehen "Gimme Some Lovin'" (Blues Brothers), "Peter Gunn" (Groovin' Detective Series Tune), "Cotton Candy Twist" (ein Original-Akkordeon-Chart - Swing), "Somewhere Out There" (James Horner), "Pilgrim's Chorus" (Wagner), "Danse Macabre" (St. Saens) und "Ombo" (Palmer-Hughes). Tägliche Proben, Workshops und eine Generalprobe gipfeln in einem Abschlusskonzert in der First Unitarian Church am 1. Mai von 19.00 bis 21.00 Uhr. Anmeldeschluss ist der 1. April 2022. | Registrations are now open for the online 15th Premio Andrea Parodi World Music Competition, which was created in honour of the distinguished Sardinian artist Andrea Parodi, who passed away 16 years ago. Contestant videos must be sent to the Artistic Commission established by the Foundation, who will select ten finalists to perform in Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy at the "Premio Andrea Parodi" Festival 2022. The prize for the winner includes concerts and performances in some of the partner music festivals in their 2023 editions, such as European Jazz Expo (Sardinia), Folkest (Friuli), not forgetting the very same Premio Andrea Parodi 2023. | The Netherlands Youth Accordion Orchestra (NJAO - Nederlands Jeugd Accordeon Orkest) will run a Play-In Concert in Fonteinkerk Amersfoort (Church in Amersfoort), Netherlands on June 11th, 2022 at 7.30pm. A variety of music will be played by an orchestra (conducted by Jorind Josemans), from Piazzolla to Queen and from Adele to Piaf. Rehearsals will be held on April 2nd, 3rd, 23rd, May 14th and June 11th from 10am to 4pm in Amersfoort or Apeldoorn. The orchestra (pictured below) consists of young accordionists, aged between 12 and 26, from various regions of the country.  The Black Pencil Ensemble (which includes accordionist Marko Kassl – pictured below) will perform at the opening show of the Floriade Expo 2022 in the Esplanade in Almere Centrum, Netherlands on April 13th, 2022 at 9pm.This sold-out show, entitled “Schoonschip” with the Theatre Company Vis a Vis, will include the ensemble playing with 200 children from theatre and dance schools in Flevoland. The theme of the expo is “Growing Green Cities” and the children “are in control and lead us to a new green world.” Two further shows will be held on April 15th and 16th, 2022.  Die Accordionists & Teachers Guild, International (ATG) unter der Leitung von Präsidentin Mary Ann Covone lädt alle zu ihrem Festival 2022 ein. Kommen Sie und feiern Sie das Akkordeon und das über 80-jährige Bestehen der ATG als wichtige Organisation für Akkordeonlehrer, professionelle Akkordeonisten, andere Akkordeonisten und Studenten.Das Festival umfasst vier verschiedene Konzerte, einen einzigartigen Streichelzoo", der für die Öffentlichkeit kostenlos zugänglich ist und Neugierigen und Jugendlichen die Möglichkeit bietet, ein Akkordeon in die Hand zu nehmen, die Gelegenheit, in einem 80-köpfigen Orchester auf einer großartigen Konzertbühne zu spielen, Aussteller, Wettbewerbe mit Preisgeldern und Trophäen, Leistungsprüfungen, Workshops, ein Gala-Bankett und vor allem die erneute Gelegenheit, Akkordeonkollegen aus dem ganzen Land zu treffen und deren Gesellschaft zu genießen. Das Festival findet vom 20. bis 24. Juli 2022 in Lisle, Illinois, an zwei Orten statt: Das Lisle Hyatt Regency und das Armerding Center for Music and Arts und Barrows Auditorium auf dem Campus des Wheaton College. Drei Abendkonzerte werden auf dem College-Campus stattfinden. Beim Abendkonzert im Barrows Auditorium tritt das UMKC-Akkordeonensemble unter der Leitung von Joan Cochran Sommers auf.
