  El Secretario General de la CIA, Kimmo Mattila, anuncia que el sistema de inscripción en línea de la Coupe Mondiale 2022 ya está abierto para las inscripciones en la 75ª Coupe Mondiale desde la página del Reglamento General de la Competición 2022: 2022CM-RulesEl Presidente de la CIA, Mirco Patarini, invita a todos los (45) miembros de la CIA a inscribir a los delegados en el 148º Congreso Internacional de Delegados, que se reúne dos veces en Zofingen, Suiza. El Presidente Patarini también invita a los competidores de todas las naciones a que presenten sus inscripciones mucho antes de la fecha de cierre para ayudar a los organizadores en lo que sin duda será una gran Coupe Mondiale. La 75ª edición de la Coupe Mondiale se celebrará del 4 al 9 de octubre de 2022 en Zofingen (Suiza) y será organizada por el miembro suizo de la CIA accordeon.ch. La presidenta Yvonne Glur y el delegado y vicepresidente de la CIA Ruedi Marty dan la bienvenida a todos a Zofingen y a las excelentes instalaciones y salas para las competiciones y los conciertos.  Vídeo: Concierto en directo de Marco Lo Russo "Made in Italy" Variaciones lingüísticas en el Teatro Mutua, Carloforte y Museo Diocesano Arborense, Oristano, Cerdeña, Italia.Marco Lo Russo actuará en la 58ª edición del Festival de Música de Pontino 2022 que se celebrará en los Jardines del Municipio de Latina, Italia, del 2 al 31 de julio de 2022 y que está organizado por el Campus Internacional de la Música. El concierto se celebrará el 30 de julio a las 21:00 horas y contará con un programa en solitario "Made in Italy" de "música original, transcripciones y arreglos de música italiana desde la clásica hasta la música del mundo, pasando por piezas de jazz, bandas sonoras originales y composiciones del propio Lo Russo".  Der Deutsche Harmonika-Verband e.V (DHV), einer der größeren Akkordeonverbände der Welt, hat eine neue Geschäftsstelle in Trossingen. Am 19. Juni 2022 wurde das neue Kompetenzzentrum für Amateurmusik Trossingen nach eineinhalbjähriger Bauzeit feierlich eröffnet. El nuevo edificio (foto de arriba de Ralf Pfründer) es una fuerte señal para la educación cultural en las zonas rurales y alberga la oficina de la DHV, la Bundesmusikverband Chor & Orchester (BMCO) y el Landes-Hackbrett-Bund Baden-Württemberg. DHV-Präsident Jochen Haußmann MdL freut sich: "Die Amateurmusik wird von vielen ehrenamtlich Tätigen mit großer Leidenschaft getragen. Mit dem Kompetenzzentrum für Amateurmusik Trossingen haben wir einen wichtigen Schritt in die Zukunft getan. Der Musikstandort Trossingen wird weiter gestärkt und der Bundesmusikverband wird als Dachverband der Amateurmusik in Deutschland seinen Sitz weiterhin in Baden-Württemberg haben und damit eine Anlaufstelle für die 14,3 Millionen Menschen, die in ihrer Freizeit Musik machen, schaffen".  El 16 de junio de 2022 tuvo lugar el Concierto Nocturno de Verano de la Filarmónica de Viena en el Parque del Palacio de Schönbrunn en Viena, Austria. Alrededor de 65.000 visitantes escucharon el concierto al aire libre, que fue dirigido por primera vez por Andris Nelson. El programa incluía obras de Ludwig van Beethoven, Mykola Lysenko, Arturs Maskats, Camille Saint-Saëns, Gioacchino Rossini, George Enescu, Bedrich Smetana, Antonin Dvorák y Johann Strauß. En vista de la guerra en Ucrania, el mensaje del concierto fue "Entendimiento internacional a través de la música". Éxito de ventas en los conciertos de debut de Aotango - Nueva Zelandaby Harley Jones |
 Vídeo: Muerte del Ángel de Astor Piazzolla. Ao", la palabra maorí que significa "mundo" está en el epicentro de Aotango. Grayson Masefield (foto de la izquierda) forma parte de un nuevo grupo llamado Aotango, un excitante quinteto especializado en tango y músicas del mundo. Los miembros de Aotango son el concertino de la Orquesta Filarmónica de Auckland (APO) Andrew Beer, el bajo principal de la sección de la APO Gordon Hill, la pianista del NZTrio Somi Kim, el guitarrista de jazz Sam Swindells y el multicampeón mundial de acordeón Grayson Masefield. Los conciertos de debut de Aotango patrocinados por la APO titulados "Tangos de Piazzolla en tu barrio" se celebraron el - El 13 de junio en la iglesia de St Heliers, Auckland - El 14 de junio en el Titirangi War Memorial Hall, Auckland fueron un gran éxito entre vítores y largos aplausos del público. |

| The Concertino Accordion Band performed at the 5th "DescOpera" outdoor classical music festival held in Butuceni, Moldova from June 17th to 19th, 2022. Their performance was part of a modern production of the famous opera "Carmen" by Bizet, along with performers Ljubica Vranes (Serbia), Dragoljub Bajic (Serbia), narrator Nicolae Jelescu, the Academic Choral Chapel "Doina" (led by Ilona Stepan), the Children's Choir of the National Opera and Ballet Theatre "Maria Biesu" and the National Philharmonic "Serghei Lunchevici". The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Moldova in partnership with the National Association for Inbound Tourism of Moldova (ANTRIM) and with the support of the Light Industry competitiveness support and tourism activity (MCTA), funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). |

| The 1st Accordion Festival was successfully held at the Bernardim Ribeiro Theatre in Estremoz, Évora, Portugal on June 18th and 19th, 2022. The event, organized by the Municipality of Estremoz, was held in conjunction with the centenary celebrations of the Teatro Bernardim Ribeiro. Performers included the Valencia Accordion Group de Alcántara (Spain), António Charrinho, Carlos Poeiras and Andreia Sofia. |

| The Accordion Society of Australia presented a concert at Box Hill, Victoria, Australia on June 17th in conjunction with The Boite multicultural music organisation. The concert entitled “Tangos to Turkey”, included a “selection of music from Argentinian tango (by Piazzolla) to the melismatic tunes of the Middle East” by Stephen Cutriss (bandoneon) and Amy Lynch (piano). In addition, accordionist Phil Carroll performed a variety of French, Italian, jazz and Balkan music styles, accompanied by drummer and percussionist David Joseph. |

 Accordionist and vocalist George Butrumlis will perform in the Cabaret Theatre production: Robyn Archer: An Australian Songbook at the Bille Brown Theatre - Queensland Theatre in South Brisbane, Australia. The production began on June 25th and will run through to July 9th, 2022.The Australia Arts Review included an article on Robyn Archer who says “Some of the songs I wrote, some I knew, and then I sought some that might reflect certain periods of the 200 years the song list covers.” The trio of George Butrumlis (accordion), Cameron Goodall (guitar and vocals) and Enio Pozzebon (keyboards and vocals) will accompany Robyn Archer during the show. |

| Two Weekend Accordion courses will be held at Halsway Manor in Crowcombe, England from July 1st to 3rd, 2022. The first is a Beginners Weekend Course run by Jane Ward. This course will cover simple technique to ensure the best start to playing the accordion. The weekend will be taught by ear and with music. The second is an Intermediate & Advanced Course with Amy Thatcher, Paul Hutchinson and Murray Grainger (picture top). This course will include a packed programme of workshops offering participants the opportunity to work with all three tutors, honing technique, repertoire and interpretation of folk tunes and accompaniment. | The 56th edition of the2022 Montreux International Jazz Festival will be held at two venues, the Auditorium Stravinski and the Montreux Jazz Lab on the shores of Lake Geneva, in Montreux, Switzerland from July 1st to 16th, 2022, organised by the Fondation du Festival de Jazz de Montreux. Attendees will be “treated to an array of activities, stages and terraces along the waterfront, including the new three-story Lake House”.
