 Nouvellement publiés sur le site web Coupe Mondiale sont les lignes directrices, le mode de fonctionnement général et les conditions de la compétition pour la Coupe Mondiale 2009 qui se tiendra à Auckland, en Nouvelle-Zélande, du 25 au 29 août 2009. Aussi nouvellement publié sont les règles et les critères de la musique pour chaque catégorie de la compétition. Les enseignants et candidats de la compétition internationale sont invités à étudier soigneusement le site web dont certaines règles sont modifiées pour 2009. Également sur le site de la Coupe Mondiale est l'ensemble des informations concernant l'hôtel et des informations sur le lieu en Nouvelle-Zélande. Il est aussi de 2009 CM Festival de la page d'inscription pour les supporters, pour tous les concerts et les fonctions sociales avec un prix réduit pour ceux qui achètent avant le 30 d'avril 2009. |

Teodoro Anzellotti du cinéma et de concert, Californie - Etats-Unisby Justin Urcis |
 Le 7 Décembre, 11h, le film "The Art of Seduction: Teodoro Anzellotti Accordéon" sera projeté au Goethe-Institut, 5750 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90036. Réalisé par Uli Aumüller en 1999, le film dure 45 minutes, et est en allemand avec sous-titres anglais. Le film est un regard en profondeur sur l’accordéoniste Teodoro Anzellotti. Le documentaire avec interprétations et exécutions des compositeurs comme Luciano Berio, Salvatore Sciarrino et Vinko Globokar. Après le film il y aura une discussion avec Anzellotti et le musicologue Luciano Chessa, et une performance en direct de nouvelles œuvres de Brice Pauset et Toshio Hosokawa. Le Goethe-Institut sera ouvert à 10h30 pour des apéritifs, et le logiciel commence rapidement à 11h. Le lundi, 8 Décembre, 20h, Teodoro Anzellotti réalise le concert avec d'autres musiciens dans une première côte ouest de la «Avant-Garde à travers les âges», composé par Michael Maierhof, la fermeture éclair à la salle de concert à la Colburn School, 200 S.  Un concert accordéon intitulé chinois Sites & Sons a eu lieu dans la partie centrale du Conservatoire de musique de Beijing, le 15 Novembre 2008. Le concert, organisé par le Professeur Xiaoqing Cao, professeur au Conservatoire, Les 24 pièces autour de la musique folklorique chinoise qui ont été écrits par Bao Yuankai, un célèbre professeur, compositeur et enseignant de musique. |

 Organisé deux fois par an par le North Staffs Accordion Club depuis 2000, le Conseil national de Compositeurs de Musique de l’ Accordéon "La concurrence est une idée novatrice pour encourager de nouvelles compositions pour l'accordéon. Le NSAC a ensuite publié un grand nombre d’ entrées sous forme de livre et sur CD, joué par les compositeurs ou d'autres accordéonistes. À partir de maintenant, la compétition sera exécuté sur une base annuelle, organisée par la National Accordion Organization du Royaume-Uni, et à la tenue des Championnats du Royaume-Uni à Blackpool 24 au 26 avril 2009. Les compositeurs de la compétition iront suivre de près ceux des années précédentes, mais avec quelques différences. Solo et duo seront séparés en différentes sections. Les concurrents peuvent entrer deux compositions applicable dans toute la section (professionnels, amateurs, juniors, Duet et de bande / groupe). | Julien "Speedy" Gonzales a été l'un des accordéonistes présents à l'international Musik - Expo dans Fredrichshafen, Bodensee, 14 Novembre au 16. Hohner avait un grand stand (tous les instruments) et un café à la musique ou "Speedy" a été en demonstration de libre basse et aussi l’instruments Fun Flash. Les accordéonistes ont également été présentés à d'autres moments au cours de la Messe. Le Akkordeonorchester Bezirksorchester Bodensee a effectué, Grünschnäbel & Alexander Chargnelli ont été présentées par la Musikschule Trossingen, et Speedy a également effectué avec Matthias Matzke, présenté par le Hohnerkonservatorium Trossingen. |

 ‘Accordions International 2008’, held for the first time at Seacroft Holiday Village, Hemsby, Norfolk, was a great success, despite the late withdrawal of guest artiste Pino Di Modugno (Italy). The Lars Ek Hot Trio, from Sweden, returned to England after a long absence and made a big impression with their lively and engaging performances of music by Frosini, Pietro and Guido Deiro, Scandinavian traditional music, swing and hot jazz. Lars Ek also led a workshop on the music of Frosini. There were impressive performances from other guests, including Giancarlo Caporilli (Italy), Stefan Andrusyschyn & Denise Leigh (operatic soprano), Harry Hussey, Bert Santilly, and local accordion sextet Norvic Concordia (MD Peter Ayers). The festival orchestral workshops were ably led by Brian Jenkins, Peter Whiteley, Heather Smith, Adrienne Sharpe, Jean Hanger, Bert Santilly, and John Trigg. ‘Accordions International 2008’ continues a tradition of autumn accordion festivals in East Anglia founded by the late Malcolm Gee in 1986, previously held at nearby Caister and Pakefield.  As part of the New Names International Music, renowned Russian musician, violinist and bayanist Yuri Medianik has introduced a scholarship of his own. The scholarship is intended to reward a talented musician who will be selected after the auditions of all the three competition tours. Medianik is president of Pluri_Art Center of Classical and Folk Music that organizes concerts and master classes. Aside from the cash scholarship, the young musician will obtain artistic support from Pluri_Art center. The winner of the scholarship will announced during the competition closing ceremony on November 30 on the stage of the Great Hall of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory. Yuri Medianik’s career continues to successfully benefit from this artist’s bi-instrumental talent.  Accordionist Romeo Aichino, from the family business that manufactures Cooperfisa (Cooperative) accordions in Vercelli, Italy, has released a CD titled ‘Cooperfisa Compilation’. The blend of tracks, from the lively ‘Luna Park Polka’ and ‘Jazz Musette Waltz’, to the brilliant ‘Via Donato 15 Tango’ (one of 5 tracks composed by Romeo himself), has a wide appeal.  On Saturday November 22nd, 6pm, accordionist Dominic Karcic entertains for a Regione Emilia-Romagna Dinner-Dance at Maestro's Caterers, 1703 Bronxdale Ave, Bronx, NY.Dominic Karcic attended New York College of Music and the City University of New York (CCNY), where he received his Masters Degree in Music. He plays professionally in the New York metropolitan area, and has a particular love for the Valtaro Musette style, gained through his years of study with Peter Spagnoli. In recent years he has been involved in the preservation and documentation of this musical style. He collaborated in writing a biographical article on the life and career of accordionist John “Scudlein” Brugnoli (founder of the Valtaro Musette Orchestra) and has continued writing articles about Valtaro Musette music. In June 2003, Dominic joined the Board of Governors of the American Accordionists' Association (AAA) and writes a column (“Heard It On The Gig”) for the AAA Newsletter. |

| Dawood Sarkhosh (born 1971) originates from Afghanistan, and is a versatile artiste who plays accordion and dumbara, sings and writes poetry. He studied the accordion under the Pakistani composer the late Arbab Ali Khan. Sarkhosh’s work is inspired by a sense of nationalism and suffering in exile, and Afghan refugees throughout the world support his concerts in large numbers.  Gorka Hermosa, from the Basque region of northern Spain, is a leading accordionist whose music includes classical, folk and jazz styles. After winning several competitions and performing a largely classical repertoire, Gorka Hermosa has diversified into other styles.
