 L'usine d'accordéons de Scandalli est le sponsor du projet d'archives vidéo et d'éducation, 2023 Coupe Mondiale, 5-9 Septembre, Bosnie et Herzégovine.Le "Video Archive Education Project" est un projet initié en 2010 par la Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA) avec l'aide de sponsors et d'Accordions Worldwide. Les vidéos doivent être en ligne environ 1 heure après la performance en direct ou la compétition en direct et les téléspectateurs auront des téléchargements gratuits des compétitions de la Coupe Mondiale jouant une vaste gamme de différents types et styles de musique. Le projet comprend une vidéo de toutes les catégories de la Coupe Mondiale et de leurs candidats à conserver dans les archives de la CIA en Finlande, qui, au cours des prochaines années, deviendront une mine d'enregistrements historiques, y compris la première de nombreuses œuvres originales pour accordéon et l'émergence d'œuvres à venir. artistes à la Coupe Mondiale.  Vidéo : Tango pour Carla de Fernando Ávila, interprété par Martina Jembrišak (Croatie).Fernando Ávila (photo de gauche) a remporté un prix de composition au Concours de musiciens de l'Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM) 2023 à Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul, Brésil, avec sa pièce "Tango pour Carla". La musique a été arrangée pour accordéon et cordes et a été inspirée par le nouveau tango d'Astor Piazzolla. Le nom de la pièce fait référence au Tango pour Claude, de l'accordéoniste français Richard Galliano. "Tango pour Carla" a été créé en avril 2020 par l'accordéoniste Martina Jembrišak (Croatie), dans son projet 60 Seconds of Accordion. La même année, l'accordéoniste polonais Nikodem Sobek a interprété la pièce au Trophée Mondial De L'accordéon, dans lequel il a remporté la 2e place. En 2021, Sobek a également interprété cette pièce lorsqu'il était champion du monde senior au 46e PIF de Castelfidardo, en Italie, et à la 74e Coupe Mondiale (Concours international d'accordéon), à Munich, en Allemagne, où il a remporté le 2e prix dans la catégorie Virtuoso Entertainment. Fernando Ávila créera cette pièce au Brésil, en l'interprétant avec l'Orquestra de Cordas da Orquestra Sinfônica de Santa Maria, le 22 août, à 20h, au Centre de congrès de l'Université fédérale de Santa Maria, situé sur le campus universitaire. |

| Black Pencil (qui comprend l'accordéoniste Marko Kassl) fera une tournée en Indonésie du 20 au 30 août 2023 avec un spectacle intitulé "Topeng Masquerade". Le groupe sera rejoint par l'ensemble de six musiciens Gamelon Kyai Fatahillah et comprendra des concerts, des démonstrations et des ateliers à Bandung et Yogyakarta. Les deux groupes ont commencé leur collaboration en novembre 2022 aux Pays-Bas avec des concerts à Amsterdam, Utrecht et Almere. Leur programme 2023 comprendra de nouvelles compositions de Roderik de Man (Pays-Bas), Dyane Donck (Pays-Bas) et des compositeurs indonésiens Iwan Gunawan, Jay Afrisando, Aldy Maulana et Nursalim Yadi Anugerah, complétées par des arrangements spéciaux de Wayang Topeng. | Les 26èmes Championnats du Monde d'Accordéon et d'Accordéon Diatonique se tiendront à Borgorose (RI), Italie du 8 au 10 septembre 2023 organisés par l'A.M.I.SA.D. APS (Associazione Musicale Italiana Strumenti ad Ania, Diatonici) de Maiolati Spontini (AN), en collaboration avec l'Association "Gli Amici dell'Organetto di Corvaro" de Borgorose (RI), l'Association "Amici della Musica APS" de San Benedetto del Tronto (AP), le "Centro Didattico Musicale Italiano" de Recoaro Terme (VI), sous le patronage de la Municipalité de Borgorose (RI), de la "Fondation Varrone" Cassa di Risparmio di Rieti et de la Municipalité de Pescorocchiano (RI) . Ces championnats sont ouverts aux candidats de toute nationalité, avec des instruments diatoniques de toute sorte. Le concours aura lieu dans les locaux de l'Istituto Omnicomprensivo Borgorose situé à Borgorose (RI). | "Zamar" présentera son nouveau spectacle "Dis Zamar Lekker" au Drostdy Theatre de Stellenbosch, en Afrique du Sud, le 8 septembre 2023. Les participants peuvent "s'attendre à un festin pour l'oreille" de la part du groupe qui comprend Veronica Bell (violon et chant), Monika Stuchlik Kahl (accordéon, chant et autres surprises instrumentales), Philip Vermeulen (guitare), Warren Joubert (basse) et Ronald Siegelaar (tambour). Au cours de leur performance, "ils vous emmènent en tournée autour du monde, visitant de nombreux pays différents - vous découvrirez tout, du Gypsy au Jazz !" Leur programme comprend : de la musique classique légère populaire, des rhapsodies hongroises, des mélodies folkloriques ukrainiennes, des tangos sud-américains, de la musique folklorique irlandaise, des chansons africaines traditionnelles, des classiques contemporains et bien plus encore.  Stan Schofield, along with his late wife Marian, was a very successful and respected accordion teacher, orchestra musical director, and NAO area festival organizer, from Burton-on-Trent in Staffordshire. Stan was the founder of the Stan Schofield Accordion School in 1972 which later changed to the Burton Accordion Society.Burton-on-Trent was a special place in the history of the accordion in the UK. In 1935 accordionists Les Beckley, Stan Kersey and Ron Wildsmith founded the West Burton Piano Accordion School, which began a long tradition of accordion activity that has lasted until the present time. Stan and Marian Schofield took up the baton in the post-war years, and their orchestras had many successes in regional and national NAO festivals, and also in the world famous Llangollen Eisteddfod in Wales. The Stan Schofield Accordion Orchestra won the Art Level orchestra section at the NAO All Britain Championships in 1980, perhaps their crowning achievement in competitions. Leading accordionists from Stan Schofield’s orchestras include John Chilton, Karen Street, Kevin Street, Karina Fodden, and the NAO many times competition winning duo Julie Patrick & Alison Johnson. Stan Schofield, born on December 10th, 1931, passed away on August 3rd, 2023. He will be greatly missed. |

 The “Good Habits” Duo will perform at a number of festivals in the UK this month.The duo, which features accordionist Pete Shaw and singer-cellist Bonnie Schwarz, will perform at the Broadstairs Folk Week in England from August 14th to 16th, followed by the Just So Festival at the Rode Hall Estate in Cheshire, England on August 19th. The Oxford Storytelling Festival will be held at the Waterperry Gardens in Waterperry, Oxford and the Shrewsbury Folk Festival will be held at the Shropshire and West Midland Agricultural Showgrounds in Shrewsbury.
