 Die Akkordeonfabrik Scandalli ist Sponsor des Videoarchiv- und Bildungsprojekts, 2023 Coupe Mondiale, 5-9 September, Bosnien und Herzegowina.Das "Video Archive Education Project" ist ein Projekt, das 2010 von der Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA) mit Unterstützung von Sponsoren und Accordions Worldwide initiiert wurde. Die Videos sollten ca. 1 Stunde nach dem Live-Auftritt oder dem Live-Wettbewerb online sein, und die Zuschauer können sich kostenlos Videos von Coupe Mondiale-Wettbewerben herunterladen, in denen eine breite Palette verschiedener Musikarten und -stile gespielt wird. Das Projekt umfasst ein Video aller Coupe Mondiale-Kategorien und ihrer Teilnehmer, das in den CIA-Archiven in Finnland aufbewahrt wird und in den kommenden Jahren zu einer Fülle historischer Aufnahmen werden wird, einschließlich der Premiere vieler Original-Akkordeonwerke und des Auftretens aufstrebender Künstler beim Coupe Mondiale.  Video: Tango pour Carla von Fernando Ávila, gespielt von Martina Jembrišak (Kroatien).Fernando Ávila (Bild links) gewann mit seinem Stück "Tango pour Carla" einen Kompositionspreis beim Musikwettbewerb 2023 der Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM) in Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul, Brasilien. Die Musik wurde für Akkordeon und Streicher arrangiert und wurde von Astor Piazzollas neuem Tango inspiriert. Der Name des Stücks verweist auf den Tango pour Claude des französischen Akkordeonisten Richard Galliano. "Tango pour Carla" wurde im April 2020 von der Akkordeonistin Martina Jembrišak (Kroatien) in ihrem Projekt 60 Seconds of Accordion uraufgeführt. Im selben Jahr führte der polnische Akkordeonist Nikodem Sobek das Stück bei der Trophée Mondial De L'accordéon auf, bei der er den 2. Im Jahr 2021 spielte Sobek dieses Stück auch, als er Weltmeister der Senioren beim 46. PIF Castelfidardo, Italien, und beim 74. Coupe Mondiale (Internationaler Akkordeonwettbewerb) in München, Deutschland, wurde, wo er den zweiten Preis in der Kategorie Virtuose Unterhaltung gewann. Fernando Ávila wird dieses Stück in Brasilien uraufführen, und zwar mit dem Orquestra de Cordas da Orquestra Sinfônica de Santa Maria am 22. August um 20 Uhr im Kongresszentrum der Bundesuniversität Santa Maria auf dem Universitätsgelände. |
Black Pencil "Topeng Masquerade" Tournee - Indonesienby Christine Johnstone |

| Black Pencil (zu dem auch der Akkordeonist Marko Kassl gehört) wird vom 20. bis 30. August 2023 mit einer Show mit dem Titel "Topeng Masquerade" durch Indonesien touren. Die Gruppe wird von dem sechsköpfigen Gamelon-Ensemble Kyai Fatahillah begleitet und wird Konzerte, Vorführungen und Workshops in Bandung und Yogyakarta geben. Beide Gruppen begannen ihre Zusammenarbeit im November 2022 in den Niederlanden mit Konzerten in Amsterdam, Utrecht und Almere. Das Programm für 2023 umfasst neue Kompositionen von Roderik de Man (Niederlande), Dyane Donck (Niederlande) und den indonesischen Komponisten Iwan Gunawan, Jay Afrisando, Aldy Maulana und Nursalim Yadi Anugerah, ergänzt durch spezielle Arrangements von Wayang Topeng. | Die 26. Weltmeisterschaften für Akkordeon & Diatonisches Akkordeon werden vom 8. bis 10. September 2023 in Borgorose (RI), Italien, stattfinden und von der A.M.I.SA.D. APS (Associazione Musicale Italiana Strumenti ad Ania, Diatonici) von Maiolati Spontini (AN), in Zusammenarbeit mit der Vereinigung "Gli Amici dell'Organetto di Corvaro" von Borgorose (RI), der Vereinigung "Amici della Musica APS" von San Benedetto del Tronto (AP), das "Centro Didattico Musicale Italiano" von Recoaro Terme (VI), unter der Schirmherrschaft der Gemeinde Borgorose (RI), der "Varrone Foundation" Cassa di Risparmio di Rieti und der Gemeinde Pescorocchiano (RI). Die Veranstaltung ist offen für Kandidaten jeder Nationalität mit diatonischen Instrumenten jeder Art. | "Zamar" wird am 8. September 2023 im Drostdy Theater in Stellenbosch, Südafrika, ihre neue Live-Show "Dis Zamar Lekker" präsentieren. Die Gruppe, bestehend aus Veronica Bell (Geige und Gesang), Monika Stuchlik Kahl (Akkordeon, Gesang und andere Instrumentenüberraschungen), Philip Vermeulen (Gitarre), Warren Joubert (Bass) und Ronald Siegelaar (Schlagzeug), bietet den Zuschauern "einen Ohrenschmaus". Während ihres Auftritts "nehmen sie Sie mit auf eine Reise um die Welt und besuchen viele verschiedene Länder - Sie werden alles von Gypsy bis Jazz erleben!  Stan Schofield, along with his late wife Marian, was a very successful and respected accordion teacher, orchestra musical director, and NAO area festival organizer, from Burton-on-Trent in Staffordshire. Stan was the founder of the Stan Schofield Accordion School in 1972 which later changed to the Burton Accordion Society.Burton-on-Trent was a special place in the history of the accordion in the UK. In 1935 accordionists Les Beckley, Stan Kersey and Ron Wildsmith founded the West Burton Piano Accordion School, which began a long tradition of accordion activity that has lasted until the present time. Stan and Marian Schofield took up the baton in the post-war years, and their orchestras had many successes in regional and national NAO festivals, and also in the world famous Llangollen Eisteddfod in Wales. The Stan Schofield Accordion Orchestra won the Art Level orchestra section at the NAO All Britain Championships in 1980, perhaps their crowning achievement in competitions. Leading accordionists from Stan Schofield’s orchestras include John Chilton, Karen Street, Kevin Street, Karina Fodden, and the NAO many times competition winning duo Julie Patrick & Alison Johnson. Stan Schofield, born on December 10th, 1931, passed away on August 3rd, 2023. He will be greatly missed. |

 The “Good Habits” Duo will perform at a number of festivals in the UK this month.The duo, which features accordionist Pete Shaw and singer-cellist Bonnie Schwarz, will perform at the Broadstairs Folk Week in England from August 14th to 16th, followed by the Just So Festival at the Rode Hall Estate in Cheshire, England on August 19th. The Oxford Storytelling Festival will be held at the Waterperry Gardens in Waterperry, Oxford and the Shrewsbury Folk Festival will be held at the Shropshire and West Midland Agricultural Showgrounds in Shrewsbury.
