Wednesday May 9th

In the morning, both Category II Final and Category III Final were held at the same time.
Category II, accordion soloists up to 15 years old, (date of birth 4th of May 1992 onward);
List Category II of Finalists.
Category III accordion soloists up to 18 years old, (date of birth 4th of May 1989 onward).

In the afternoon, was the Category VI Final - soloists playing virtuosic light music (no age limit)

Category VI performers
Frederico Gili (Italian) as the first contestant and he played without a grille on his accordion and finished attaching a mouth organ to his accordion playing both instruments at times for his final piece.
Ives Houlin (Switzerland) withdrew so next to play was Speedy Gonzales (France). He played second and finished second.
Phil Bouvier (France)

Felicien Brut (France) was awarded First Prize.

Tango Fuego Concert

This concert featured Fabian Carbone (bandoneon), Sebastian Reimann (violin), Detlev Struewe (piano), Fritz Roppel (double bass), Laura D'Onofrio (vocalist).




The Fabian Carbone group had audience up and dancing tango and received a standing ovation from a very happy audience.

Klingenthal and Castelfidardo Sister City Relationship

Klingenthal City and Castelfidardo City share a sister city link that is very close. The Burgermeister (Mayor) of Klingenthal Reiner Schneidenbach is pictured with Aldo Belmonte, the President Pro Loco for Tourism, Castelfidardo City.

Mayor of Neuenrade City Mr Sasse. Neuenrade is also a sister city of Klingenthal and Annette, the Green Party representative.
