A stroll around the town found many well known accordion celebrities. Above is Beniamino Bugiolacchi, owner of Italcinte straps and accessories and also one of the founders of the Castelfidardo Museum. Pictured with Beniamino is Holda Paoletti-Kampl, Accordions Worldwide Manager. President of the Brazil Accordion Association Lauro Valério with a student and his father. I enjoyed a very nice tour to Brazil in 2007 titled Brazil Adventure.
Antonio Spaccarotella is pictured here with Holda and well known UK accordionist Romano Viazzani who is one of the competition adjudicators. Nathalie Boucheix and Jacques Mornet, directors of the internationally known French CNIMA J.Mornet music school.
Friends meeting were Antonio Spaccarotella and Frank Marocco who had recently toured together in Brazil, Elke Ahrenholz, Romano Viazzani and Karen Street.
The first competition category to be run was the Category H, Light Music soloists of any age. This was a very competitive category with a number of excellent players which are listed above. Eight contestants were taken through to the second round which will be run tomorrow afternoon. Photos of contestants will be added later. Vitali Pugaghev
Some contestants of younger age categories were watching. Here is Vitaly Krotov and his mother Larisa Krotova from Germany. After the competition, we walked around the town. Pino di Modugno in concert demonstrating the Master MIDI products with switching regularly to different sounds. Pino di Modugno had designed his program to show the many different sounds available.

At the end of the concert, Pino Mondugno called Alessandro and Gabriele Guglielmi on stage to the excellent applause of the audience who had enjoyed these young players very much and also enjoyed the variety of music by Pino di Modugno.

Joining accordionists Donato Santoianni and Salavatore Cauteruccio were Sasa Calabrese (double bass) and Fabrizio La Fauci on drums.
