Association (CAA) and his seminar subject, the 2016 Coupe Mondiale held in Rostov-on-Don, Russia last month. |

| Even at the beginning, the room was filled with standing room only to hear the popular CAA President Prof. Li Cong seminar. |

| It was quite unique, conductor and accordion accompaniment on the stage and the choir in the audience. I had a table right in the middle of this beautiful performance, which recieved great applause from the audience. | |

| This was followed by a dinner for the festival organising team to which some guests were invited. Above is festival compere Song Fengfeng and her sister festival Secretary Wu Chengjie with Harley Jones. | We had a lovely second dinner during which all the festival organising team were thanked by China Accordion Association (CAA) President Li Cong for their work to make the successful festival. |

| In between accordion activities, there was time for a fishing trip, a most enjoyable seafood dinner hosted by an important local official (who was also a former pupil of Sun Jia Sheng) and also a morning walk around a most picturesque headland before returning to Dalian City. | |
