Opening Concert

Dalian is a major city and seaport in the south of Liaoning Province, China. It is the southernmost city of Northeast China and at the tip of the Liaodong Peninsula. Dalian is the province's second largest city and has sub-provincial administrative status; only the provincial capital is larger. The Shandong Peninsula lies southwest across the Bohai Strait; Korea lies across the Yellow Sea to the east. Snow Breweries, a well known beer brand, is situated in Dalian.

First performers were the Dance group Dalian Oriental Beauty Art Troupe.

2. Very large accordion orchestra of 125 children from Year One, No.1 Dongang Primary School.

by the 30 member Anshan Senior Accordion Group.

8. Well known accordion teacher and composer Chen Yiming has written a poem and music about "Our China Accordion Dream" and the development of the accordion in China.

The poem was read by (left to right): Hong Zhang of Dalian TV, Festival Secretary General Wu Chengjie, China Accordion Association President Prof. Li Cong, China Accordion Association Executive Secretary Crystal Wang.

9. Wang Xiao, 3rd place winner at the 2016 Castelfidardo International
competitions senior entertainment category.

10. Dalian Senior Modelling Group with Chengjie Wu performing "Swan Goose"

11. Seven accordionists performing Hadyn Op 76 No. 5, Dance of Fire by Yanzhong Li,
Fantasia for Organ by Mozart. Players are: Aryas Sun, Hengchun Li,
Luning Jia, Shuni Wang, Zhou Tong, Qi Shi, Xuan Liu.

12. Cao Ye, international competition winner performs virtuoso entertainment music.

13. 100 accordion players group performing Gorilla Fighters Song.
Performing are: Ocean University Accordion Orchestra, National
Senior Accordion Enthusiasts, Dalian International Philharmonia.
