 Questo
trio di fisarmoniche è composto da tre ottimi musicisti
polacchi, tutti provenienti dallo studio accademico a Katowice:
Piotr Chololowicz, Piotr Biazik e Jakub Mietla. Il loro percorso
di studio ha avuto poi conferme con numerose affermazioni in concorsi
nazionali ed internazionali. In questo loro secondo CD, che vanta
una presentazione di Walter Maurer, viene presentato un “filone”
di composizioni di impronta slava.
Si tratta di un’interessante rilettura in chiave “moderna”
del sound del folklore slavo. Unica eccezione a questa impostazione
è “Libertango” di Astor Piazzolla (che è
veramente l’unico brano di matrice diversa rispetto al resto),
questo quasi a voler dimostrare l’inevitabilità della
sua presenza nel repertorio dei fisarmonicisti d’oggi. Il
livello del CD è ottimo, si percepisce la maturità
degli interpreti, piccolissima insicurezza nell’aspetto del
sincronismo nelle parti omoritmiche; i tre fisarmonicisti hanno
un ottimo controllo degli strumenti, dai quali ottengono sonorità
molto curate.
Buona è anche la scelta del repertorio: la “Slav Fantasy”
di Bogdan Precz (in tre parti) è un brano interessante
per le combinazioni sonore che crea, per l’immediatezza del
linguaggio (tipica di questo compositore), che lascia qualche
perplessità solo sul piano della sua architettura generale.
Gli altri tre brani (“W moim ogrodeczku” – arrangiamento
di Jakub Mietla, “Kyrillikata” di J. Grekow e Piotr
Chololowicz e “Recenica” arrangiamento del trio Ars
Harmonica) sono la vera parte riuscita di questo lavoro: in essi
si possono ascoltare bellissime sonorità, ben curate ed
interessanti perché singolari ed innovative ed una riuscita
combinazione tra ritmi e melodie che mette in risalto i colori
del folklore balcanico e slavo.

The passion for the accordion connected the three musicians
who met in The Music Academy in Katowice (Poland), where they
educated their owns skills under by Prof. Joachim Pichura's supervision.
In Katowice they have started their concerts activity, which has
become widespread all over Europe. The trio has won numerous national
and international competitions, and they have competed in a lot
of significant festivals. They have won critics and audience approval.
The group has also performed with famous symphony orchestras.
The musicians have various and broad range of artistic programme,
which shows tremendous expression and sounds possibility of accordion.
They prove that the accordion is suitable for every music style.
During their concerts we can listen to J.S.Bach, A.Vivaldi, and
A.Piazzolla, but - how the musicians claim that - the closest
to their hearts and the eagerliest performed is folk music of
the Slavonic lineage. This music is worked out and arranged by
the trio "Ars Harmonica". The unique atmosphere of folk
music comes from the connection of irregular rhythms, the specific
temperament of the Balcan music and vivid harmony typical for
Middle and East Europe. This causes that music appeals to the
listeners' hearts in a natural way and leaves behind indelible
impression.
