This was a day of "meet the youth" with three separate events. 1. Seminar of Russian Music at the Shanghai No.3 Girls' Middle School 2. Seminar of Balkan Music & Tango at the Hongqiao International School 3. Seminar of Accordion Perfomance & Chamber Music at the Shanghai Normal University (SHNU). Below are pictures of these events: Shanghai No.3 Girls' Middle School is one of the few all girls schools in Shanghai. The school has a long history, originally being a private girls school and in recent years, now part of the government sponsored school system. An interesting accordionists picture. The media person at the school (left) used to play the accordion, the middle lady is a teacher at the school and a former accordion student of SHNU and on the right is Wan Yizhong (Nova) conductor of the Accordion Orchestra of Shanghai Accordion Alliance and tutor at the Shanghai Childrens Palace. Introducing ESSE Quintet (Russia) Nova talking about accordion in the group Crystal Wang, Shanghai Accordion Association President spoke to the audience. Crystal is a China Accordion Association Executive and delegate to the Coupe Mondiale and is one of the China organising committee of the 2019 Coupe Mondiale in Shenzhen.
