Tango by Lo Que Vendrà

This is a CD in which tango is presented in all its different guises.

Undoubtedly it is to Piazollas’ credit to have given not only a new edge to this type of music but also established it as a musical genre in its own right, favouring and promoting the rediscovery of the traditional, historical tango ... without which Piazollas’ own music would not have existed.

The programme is inspired by the great Argentine orchestras of the 40’s to 60’s and includes the various sub genres of Tango: the milonga, the vals and the tango itself. As well as the instrumental version, the the quintet form,  one can also listen to the sung tango

The quintet “Lo Que Vendrà”, that has made the tango more popular in Italy in recent years, has captured the stylistic properties of emotion and passion that characterizes this type of music.

The players are: Simone Marini on bandoneon (uan authentic instrument “bisonoric” Doble AA from the 1930’s), Daniela Fidanza on piano – both of whom are the originators and producersof this project (and also to note , tango dancers), as well as  Mario Pace on violin, Giovanni Ciaffarini on viola and Claudio Marzolo on double bass; voclas are supplied by the Argentinian singer Rubén Peloni.

This is a CD not only for the lovers of tango but also for lovers of music of all styles .
