 
Incoerente Duo Giorgio Dellarole (accordion) Alessandro Tampieri (violin) Listening to this CD is truly a fascinating experience, engaging and unique. One major reason lies in the program of the Incoerente Duo, which is based on the compositions of the Baroque period, composed for violin and continuo (harpsichord, etc.). The composers, some of them unknown to most or almost all, such as D. Castello, F. Rognoni, G.A. Pandolfi Mealli, G.P. Cima, T. Merula, are here, alongside very famous names such as G. Frescobaldi, A. Corelli and J.S. Bach. The result is music sounds fresh, exciting and, paradoxically, more current than many other compositions, written centuries closer to us! Another aspect that makes the record unique is the particular combination of this instrumental duo: the philological (historical) baroque violin combined with the modern accordion, an instrument certainly "current" and seemingly anachronistic compared to the repertoire offered, which however, blends so wonderfully with the violin with a musical dialogue of equality, giving full fragrance, with a large and profound sense of the musical era. This is achieved because of the type of tuning used for the accordion, historical tuning (the system Vallotti, 415 Hz), which is "consistent" with the ancient stringed instrument, and with the musical program. ... Last but not least, a further reason and with merit embellishing the CD, is the mastery of these two passionate performers, violinist and accordionist, Alexander Tampieri and Giorgio Dellarole.
