Arthur Spink LPs on CD, Scotland – UK

Arthur Spink CD CoversArthur Spink, from Dundee, Scotland, began his career in show business when he was just 17, having started playing the accordion at the age of 5, and competed successfully in many NAO contests. He spent many years touring the world as a popular accordion entertainer, and became a household name in Scottish music circles. In the late 1970s he switched from acoustic accordions to the Cordovox electronic accordion.

Before emigrating to Australia in 1980, Arthur Spink recorded for the Beltona label in the 1960s and 70s, and made several best-selling LPs. These albums have been recently reissued on four CDs, each containing two LPs.

‘The Best of Arthur Spink - Volume One’ has all the tracks from the LPs ‘Scotland's Greatest’ and ‘Dancing Fingers’.
