The Deutscher Harmonika-Verband e.V. (DHV), one of the largest accordion associations in the world, had their General Assembly last Saturday 23rd September in Trossingen. There were elections for the whole board of the DHV and Jochen Haußmann was again elected to be the President of the DHV for the next 4 years. Hedy Stark-Fussnegger has been elected Vice-President and her CEO position has been tranferred to Corinna Probst since March 1st 2017. The DHV is the German member of the Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA) and was a founding member of the CIA in 1935. The DHV will be hosting the 74th Coupe Mondiale International Accordion Competitions in Germany in 2021. |
