Assemblée générale du CIA en ligne, une première - Finlandeby Harley Jones |

  La Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA) a été créé en 1935 et 85 ans plus tard, elle comprend 43 membres, dont nombreux sont des associations nationales d’accordéon.Pour la toute première fois et du fait des restrictions de voyage liées au Covid-19, le CIA tiendra son congrès via internet samedi soir heure centrale européenne. L’assemblée générale sera menée par le président Mirco Patarini et le secrétaire général Kimmo Mattila . Seront abordés les concerts en perspective et projets pour la Coupe Mondiale 2021 à Munich, du 13 au 17 octobre. L’organisateur est la Deutscher Harmonika-Verband e. V., (DHV) et son délégué Georg Hettmann (photo à droite), évoquera le projet. Le règlement, conseils de voyage et adresses d’hotels seront publiés avant décembre. Seront aussi évoqués des plans pour le World Accordion Day (May 6th) avec des évènements à travers le monde et un programme international important en ligne mis en place par des membres du CIA dans de nombreux pays. Un rapport complet de l’assemblée générale et les plans pour 2021 seront publiés ici vendredi prochain. |

| Vidéo: Aidar Salakhov joue l’Hiver, le 1er mouvement des Quatre saisons de Vivaldi. "Libertango" jouera pour la journée internationale du tango, le 4 décembre 2020. Ce concert de jubilé se tiendra au Kino Concert Hall à Yaroslavl, en Russie. "Libertango" est composé d’Aidar Salakhov (accordéon), Angelica Markova (voix), Artyoom Fedotov (batterie), Rinat Safargaliev (basse), Ilya Ershov (violon) and Oleg Anokhin (clavier, arrangements et direction du groupe). Au programme, de la musique d’Astor Piazzolla, la première de nouvelles compositions, un nouvel arrangement du fameux composition Libertango avec le soliste Aidar Salahov et des danseurs. Aidar Salakhov est un ancient étudiant de l’Académie de musique Gnesins de Moscou où il a étudié avec le Prof. Friedrich Lips. Il a remporté Klingenthal en 2017 dans la catégorie Entertainment, 1ière place à la compétition d’accordéon et de bayan en 2015 Moscow. Pour les details du concert : 8 (4852) 66-25-11 |

 C’est avec regret que, du fait de la situation de pandémie mondiale (Covid 19), le comité exécutif et groupe de directeurs du AAA ont pris la nécessaire décision d’annuler le festival AAA qui devait se dérouler du 14 au 18 juillet 2021, à l’ouest de Philadelphie.Nous nous préoccupons de la sécurité du public, fidèles auditeurs, invités et artistes in, et souhaitons aussi soutenir les efforts de la nation dans le contrôle de la pandémie, rejoignant ainsi une longue liste d’évènements annulés. Bien que la pandémie ait bouleversé nos vies, il faut toujours essayer de voir le bon côté. Consulter les dernières aventures digitales de l’AAA's à travers des conférences en ligne, séminaires, concerts, compétitions et la cérémonie/concert de remise du prix AAA Lifetime Achievement à Linda Solely Reed. Cela nous permettra de communiquer amplement. Il y’a le monde merveilleux de Zoom waiting qui vous attend! On a hâte de voir tous nos amis accordéonistes en ligne.  L’accordéoniste Kevin Friedrich, newyorkais d’adoption mais originaire de Dargaville, a attiré un large public au Lighthouse Function Centre au musée de Dargaville pour la deuxième fois en quatre mois, cette fois ci avec un concert 'The Sounds of the Season' avec un programme enlevé de musique pour les fêtes.Reportage complet et photos: 2020DargavilleSounds Toutes les recettes sont reversées au musée de Dargaville. Artistes invites: Wendy Dunn, Jone Yelcich, Take 6, Linda Emmett Litt, Lionel Reekie, Rivertown Singers, Roslyn Gilmour, Alanah Jones, Mike Durney, Adrian Humm, Brenda Polwart, Nolene Osbaldiston, Lynn Walters, Sue Marmont, Mike England et Maurice Jones ainsi qu’un pantomime, qui a apporté un élément comique. Pour clore le concert sont apparus des personnages typiques de la période des fêtes, Rudolph le daim au nez rouge, le bonhomme de neige et le père noel en personne, et un chant de noel à reprendre tous en chœur. En plus de ce deuxième concert de noel, Kevin fait des concerts de charité tous les mois de mars et le prochain aura lieu le 28 mars 2021.  Plébiscité, le groupe Lomond Ceilidh présentera un concert en ligne pour le passage à l’an 2021, le soir du 31 décembre. Les détenteurs de billets ont aussi la possibilité de le voir le concert en direct ou si c’est plus pratique de le voir en différé. Ils vous encouragent à leur envoyer des demandes spécifiques dès que possible (au plus tard pour le 28 décembre) afin de s’essayer de le mettre au programme. Ils prévoient aussi de prendre des requêtes en direct. Le groupe a été nominé pour la Trad Music Awards pour spectacle en ligne en 2020, et les résultats seront annoncés le 12 décembre 2020.  Karen Tweed is running online workshops every fortnight, which she began on November 13th, 2020. The workshops cover lyricism, bellows and techniques to make tunes sing. Karen explores ideas using the tunes: 'O Sole Mio' and Gilles Chabenat's 'Baudimic'. Participants will receive additional notes after the workshop. | French accordionist and composer, Yvette Horner (1922 to 2018) performs live "Les Triolets" accompanied by the Raymond Lefevre Orchestra on French Television in 1956. She was known for performing with the Tour de France during the 1950s and 1960s.   Organisers of the 2021 Northern Ireland Open Accordion Championships regret to announce that the event, which was due to be held in February 2021 has been cancelled due to uncertainties arising from the Covid-19 pandemic.For 2022, the venue, Loughshore Hotel Carrickfergus, has been provisionally booked for 26th February, 2022. Clyde Johnston (picture right) thanks you all for your support and understanding and hopefully the event will be back bigger and stronger in 2022. |

The first is the Certificate course “Styrian Harmonica” with Alexander Maurer (picture left) which is due to begin on November 28th.The second is an online course “Arranging and Music Editing” with Hans-Günther Kölz which starts on December 7th. The Conservatory wishes all participants a lot of fun! |

 The Milwaukee Accordion Club regret to announce that due to the still increasing spread of the COVID-19 virus in Wisconsin, the Board has voted to terminate all indoor meetings until the epidemic subsides, or until members get vaccinated against this virus.They have made this decision with regard to the safety of all members and hope to be able to resume as soon as possible in the New Year. |

| Video: Skerryvore - An incredibly poignant moment for the band when they performed 'Everyday Heroes' for the first time together during their 'Live Across The World' livestream in September, 2020. Skerryvore (which includes brothers Daniel on accordion and Martin Gillespie on pipes, whistles and accordion) will appear on the weekly online show Friday Night Lockdown Live with Alec on November 27th at 7pm (November 28th 9am UTC+13). The event will include the first exclusive live performance of the new single by the band entitled “You and I”.
