XII ième Compétition Grand Prix International "Golden Talents", Kursk – Russieby Ivan Dyma, SaxAkkord Duo |

| La compétition grand prix International "Golden Talents" pour accordéon et bayan aura lieu du 10 au13 décembre 2020 à Kursk, en Russie. La compétition se déroulera en 3 étapes : Etape 1 – qualification par vidéo du 1er au 10 novembre 2020. Durée totale du programme de 10 à 15 minutes. Etape 2 & 3 – Une compétition en deux tours du 10 au 13 décembre 2020. Durée totale du programme de 15 à 25 minutes. Le 13 décembre, un concert de gala se tiendra avec les gagnants à la compétition. Vince Abbracciante à Palazzo Pesce à Bari - Italieby Holda Paoletti-Kampl |
 Vince Abbracciante (accordéon) et Andrea Sabatino (trompette) donneront un concert intitulé “Melodico” dans la cour extérieure du Palazzo Pesce (photo ci-dessous) à Mola di Bari (BA) le 29 août à 21heures.Ces deux musiciens proposeront un programme original de Kramer à Tenco, de Trovajoli à Bruno Martino en passant par le jazz moderne et innovant d’Andrea Sabatino. Vince Abbracciante est diplomé en accordéon classique du conservatoire de Matera et a joué dans cinq continents aux cotés de nombreux musiciens de renom.   Le séminaire des 23 ièmes journées de l’accordéon de Rheinsberg 2021 se tiendra dans l’académie de musique de Kavalierhaus Schlossanlage à Rheinsberg en Allemagne du 12 au 14 février 2021 sous l’égide du DHV (Deutscher Harmonika-Verband e.V.).Pour la 23ième fois consécutive, le DHV invite les accordéonistes enfants et adultes (étudiants, professeurs, musiciens d’orchestre et chef d’orchestres) à jouer ensemble et à apprendre les uns des autres sur une durée de trois jours. Les participants au séminaire auront l’opportunité de travailler en tant que solistes, en formation de musique de chambre et en orchestre. Ces journées 2021 sont aussi l’occasion pour ceux qui le souhaitent de se préparer aux compétitions à venir et à la compétition pour l’ "Accordion Music Prize 2021". Parmi les intervenants, Lars Holm (cours de musique solo ou en petite formation), Hans-Günther Kölz (cours d’orchestre – photo en haut à droite) et Sabine Kölz pour l’atelier "Ran an Tasten & Knöpfe" (claviers et boutons).  "La meilleure section rythmique du monde!!!"La télévision irlandaise TG4 a présenté l’accordéoniste Nigel Black dansant dans le programme d’Hector Anseo cette semaine. Au programme un entretien avec Nigel (qui vient de Ballymena, County Antrim en Irlande du Nord) ainsi que des vidéos clips de lui qui jouent deux morceaux tout en dansant. The old green lawnmower never missed a beat! |

  Michael Bridge is delighted to announce his new collaboration with “Concerts in Care”, Canada’s national network presenting classical music in retirement homes. Michael is among a small group of musicians producing concert videos for national distribution to senior citizens caught in lockdowns across the country. | Despite the fact the Stockport Accordion Club meeting venue, Woodley Methodist Church is still closed due to Covid19, club members have been holding Zoom internet meetings on Wednesday evenings each week. This gives members the opportunity to keep in touch, swap news, have plenty of laughs, play solos, and even have a short band practice. Thank goodness for technology! Last week’s pieces were the Amboss Polka, Metsakukkia (a waltz from Finland), and Besame Mucho. Players are looking forward to when restrictions are lifted and they can all meet again in person! |

| Kevin Friedrich and the Dargaville Museum have organised a free concert entitled “Mid Winter Melodies” at the Lighthouse Function Centre in Harding park, Dargaville on July 12th. New Zealand is open again following their Covid-19 lockdown and this concert is being held to thank essential service workers and the Dargaville community residents for uniting together during the lockdown. Kevin will entertain at the event as well as other popular entertainers Jone Yelcich, Roslyn Gilmour, Lynn Walters, Thomas Koloi and the Rivertown Singers & Take Six. |

 Omac President Yves Macé, has announced they are currently preparing shows for the 2020-2021 Thury-Harcourt season, taking into account new health standards related to the Covid-19 outbreak. “The show season will resume at the beginning of October, even if the threat still looms," he said.The first event will be concerts at the Calvados Tour in Normandy, France by the Louise Jallu Quartet from October 8th to 10th, 2020. The quartet, which includes Louise Jallu (bandoneon – picture left), Mathias Lévy (violin), Grégoire Letouvet (piano) and Alexandre Perrot (double bass), play a mix of Argentine jazz tango.
