Le lundi 22e Juin 2009, Matth. Hohner AG a fêté son 100e anniversaire en tant que société anonyme. Particulièrement en période de crise économique mondiale de tels anniversaires donnent une contribution plus positive et a attiré de nombreux représentants et des invités spéciaux de l'entreprise mot, la politique et la presse. Hohner a été fondée en 1857, et depuis 1909 a été une société anonyme, qui était alors une nouvelle et innovante de type de société. 50 ans après la fondation de l'entreprise, Hohner réalisé la nécessité d'une nouvelle structure de l'entreprise, et sur la 22ème Juin 1909, Matthias Hohner l'entreprise s'est transformée en une société par actions, et financièrement dans le quartier commercial de la Oberamt Spaichingen.
Aujourd'hui, la majorité des actions sont dans le SH Investment Group Inc, British Virgin Islands. Matt. Hohner AG est une société holding, cinq filiales. Ce sont les deux sociétés allemandes: la Hohner Musikinstrumente GmbH & Co. KG à Trossingen et Sonor GmbH & Co. KG à Bad Berleburg, qui développent, produisent et commercialisent dans le monde entier les produits de Hohner Sonor et marques. En outre, trois bureaux de vente appartiennent à la société, Hohner, Inc aux Etats-Unis, le Hohner SA, en France, et Hohner Sonor-AG en Suisse. De renommée internationale comme l'un des grands événements annuels accordéon, superbement organisée, Sata-Häme Soi comprend TV diffusés sur le 24 Juin Golden Accordéon concurrence, et 26 Juin sur la 5e Ikaalinen Primus International Accordion Competition.

Compétition Annuel et AAA Festival, Memphis - USAby Rob Howard

 Le rapport annuel AAA concours et le Festival se déroule à Memphis, Tennessee, 15 Juillet au 19. L'événement aura lieu au Holiday Inn Suites, un hôtel de suites sur le campus de l'Université de Memphis, 3700 Central Ave., Memphis TN 38111.
L'AAA et la concurrence au Festival des concours, des ateliers, des concerts et une exposition trafe. Cette année, les artistes invités, citons Tony Lovello, Joey Miskulin et Riders in the Sky, Joe Natoli, Mary Tokarski, Bruce Gassman, Jeff Lisenby et la NashVegas Jazz Players.
Le concours des «A Tribute to the King - Elvis Presley Category ',' AAA numériques / Electronic Entertainment International Competition», «Accordéon Concours International de Piano", "Maddalena Belfiore Entertainment Accordéonistes concurrence pour les femmes', et 'Vivian Vivio Spolaruk International Entertainment la concurrence ». Il ya aussi le niveau AAA Concours Festival annuel.
2009 Le Festival Orchestra, dirigé par Randy Martin, fera un concert spécial à Graceland, à la mi-journée le vendredi Juillet 17, suivie d'une visite de Graceland.

Accordéon Musée ouvre, Melk - Autricheby Hermi Kaleta

 En Mai 1829, le viennois 6ème orgue Cyrill Demian déposé un brevet pour le premier jouable accordéon. L'accordéon est une invention autrichienne rapidement achevé sa triomphale mars dans le monde entier, et maintenant, après 180 ans, enrichit encore le monde de la musique.
Hannes Thanheiser, acteur, musicien et collectionneur passionné, a ouvert le premier Musée Accordéon en Autriche, le 18ème Juin 2009, Sterngasse 19, Melk, Basse-Autriche, et fait de sa collection à la disposition du public pour tous les visiteurs.
Il ya des raretés, des trésors et des curiosités de la 1860 à l'heure actuelle. En outre, on peut voir la plus grande collection de figurines de l'accordéon en Autriche.

Dean Warner’s First CD, Armagh - Irelandby Rob Howard

‘Northern Box’ is accordionist Dean Warner’s first solo CD, and is a splendidly performed collection of Irish dance music. He is joined on the recording by Ryan Molloy - piano, Michael Harrison - fiddle, Daire McGeown – banjo, and Fintan McManus - bouzouki.
Dean Warner, born in Leeds, England, a city steeped in a strong tradition of Irish traditional music, has been playing the piano accordion from the age of eight. It was through his association with Leeds Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann that he developed a deep passion for ‘the music’.
In 2001 Dean moved to Northern Ireland and now lives near Lurgan, County Armagh. He won the All Ireland Senior Piano Accordion title in Letterkenny (2005), and toured with Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann throughout Ireland (2006), Britain (2007), and the USA/Canada (2007).
He also performed at the Asturias Music Festival, Spain (2006), and the Shetland Accordion and Fiddle Festival (2008). Dean teaches, adjudicates, and is a regular figure at music sessions in Armagh and Tyrone.

World Music stage in “Exile”, Vienna – Austriaby Rainer Krispel

For 5 years Friedl Preisl has led the world music stage at the Danube Island Festival, and now this festival belongs to history due to the economic crisis – losing its sponsorship at a late stage, and with a program already organised long ago.
This is just one of many reasons why Friedl Preisl does not want to accept defeat, and with his world music scene shortly moving into "exile" without funds, has as an alternative organised two concerts at the Porgy & Bess, Vienna.
On June 27th, 9pm, the concert is titled ‘Girls, Girls, Girls’, with Özlem Bulut & Kehoha, Tiptons Sax Quartet & Drums, and Ljubinka Jokic & Yok. The concert on the 28th is ‘Klexmer and Roma Music’, featuring Klezmer Reloaded, The Other Europeans, Klezmer Music Project, Lautari Music Project, and the Amsterdam Klezmer Band.

Jean Louis Noton was invited on Sunday 21 June to the concert in Jouy (Eure-et-Loire). The first part was dedicated to the students of Brigitte Moreau, professor for piano, accordion and electric organ of the Association of l’Espace Musical de Jouy.
Many young talented future artists performing compositions for accordion and keyboard, individually and also together with the Orchestra of l’Espace Musical de Jouy.
Jean Louis Noton animated the second part of the concert performing also a piece together with the students. The morning after was dedicated in “exploring the digital accordion” which was a lot of fun for the young students. |

| Very popular French accordionist Eric Bouvelle has formed a new orchestra, and their first public appearance will be a dinner dance at the Salle Culturelle, Magny-Cours, on Saturday June 27th, 8pm. |

On July 4th, 7.30 pm, the Craven Accordion Orchestra is hosting an evening of accordion music. Also performing will be some of their NAO national and local champions.
There will be a special guest performance from Thom Hardaker (Rimsky Korsakov Conservatory, St. Petersburg).
The concert takes place at Skipton Town Hall, North Yorkshire. |

 The 5th competition 'Concorso Carpineti in Musica’ takes place on July 18th and 19th in Carpineti, a comune (municipality) in the Province of Reggio Emilia in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna. The competition sections include Classical Accordion, Folk, and Variety, and organiser is Lorenzo Munari.

Accordion Night on Film Stage, Wiesbaden - Germanyby

There will be a light summer evening concert on Thursday, 2nd July at 8pm on the stage, Marktplatz 9, Wiesbaden.
The music presented will be "Musica Leggiera" showing accordion in various genres, from Bulgarian and South American folklore to the tango, jazz, dance music, all in the lighter style.

Last Night of the Proms - 2009 is a very popular annual two concert series featuring popular British music performed by the Auckland Symphony Orchestra conducted by Gary Daverne ONZM, the North Shore 100 Voice Chorale and Friends conducted by Peter Thomas and special guest celebritities. 
The New Zealand Accordion Association “invites people to support New Zealand young talented accordionists as they prepare to take on the worlds finest and compete for the Coupe Mondiale World Accordion Championship titles in August 2009!” The concert is on 10th July.
