| Am 17. September 2020 organisierte der neu gewählte Präsident Massimo Pigini ein spezielles Treffen des Verbandes Music Marche, um über den PIF und das neu eröffnete und renovierte Akkordeonmuseum Castelfidardo zu diskutieren, das in den AWW-Nachrichten vorgestellt wurde: http://www.accordions.com/news.aspx?d=28-Aug-2020&lang=de#art16785 Viele Unternehmen und Partner von Music Marche nahmen an dem Treffen teil, das darauf bedacht ist, die handwerklichen Traditionen aufrechtzuerhalten, neue Ideen zu entwickeln und die ganze Welt die Musik von exzellenten Instrumenten aus Castelfidardo zu hören, sehen und genießen zu lassen, die von sowohl italienischen als auch internationalen Akkordeonkünstler, aufgeführt wird. Music Marche hat bei der Renovierung des Museums Castelfidardo eng mit allen Beteiligten zusammengearbeitet und 10.940 Euro für den "Art-Bonus" gesponsert, ein Projekt von MIBACT / Ministero per i beni e le attività Culturali - Regierungsabteilung zur Erhaltung von Kulturgütern und Aktivitäten. |

| Die Musikmesse 2021, Europas größte Fachmesse für Musikindustrie, Musikinstrumente und Musikpädagogik, findet vom 22. bis 24. Oktober 2021 in Frankfurt statt. Dies ist eine Änderung gegenüber den normalen Jahresdaten für März oder Anfang April für viele Jahre. Die Musikmesse findet in Verbindung mit der Frankfurter Buchmesse statt und arbeitet mit dem Kreativzentrum THE ARTS + zusammen. Beide Shows bleiben unabhängige Veranstaltungen. Die Musikmesse verzeichnet jährlich rund 56.000 Besucher und knapp 1.000 Aussteller. |

 Video: Menzo Gatte, 14 Jahre alt, spielt 2019 "Roulotte" von Louis Corchia in CastelfidardoLetzte Woche berichteten wir über den traurigen Tod von Louis Corchia und zeigten zwei Videos. Die internationale Akkordeonschule CNIMA im Herzen Frankreichs macht eine Hommage an Louis Corchia. Nathalie Boucheix, Mitbegründerin und Schulleiterin, erinnert sich gern an alle Konzerte, die sie mit ihrem Freund Louis Corchia gespielt hat. "Ich bin zutiefst traurig über den Verlust von Loulou. Er war ein außergewöhnlicher Musiker, der von allen respektiert und geschätzt wurde. Loyal, bescheiden, locker. Er war wirklich ein außergewöhnlicher Mann! Ein Vorbild für alle. Ich bin wirklich bewegt von seinem Tod aufgrund der Covid-19-Pandemie. Er vertraute mir so viele Jahre lang und lud mich regelmäßig ein, bei seinen vielen Galas und Konzerten unter den Besten zu spielen. Ich schulde ihm viel und werde mich tief in meinem Herzen für immer an ihn erinnern. Er wird sehr vermisst werden. Die Akkordeonwelt trauert, als sie einen "Grand Monsieur" verloren haben! Lebewohl Loulou und DANKE. Sie werden immer an unserer Seite sein. " Jacques Mornet, Gründer der CNIMA-Schule, fügt hinzu: "Ein großartiger Mann hat uns gerade verlassen. Er war ein Allround-Künstler, ein großartiger Musiker (2. im Coupe Mondiale 1951 und Gewinner der ersten Trophée Mondial 1951 in London), der den Stolz seines Vaters Primo gewann, ebenfalls ein Akkordeontalent und fast genetisch auf seinen Sohn übertragen wurde. Seine Freundlichkeit und seine musikalische Ehrlichkeit waren berühmt. Er liebte das Leben und wusste, wie er seine Freude und gute Laune teilen konnte. Alle Schüler der CNIMA und die Schulleiterin Nathalie Boucheix schließen sich mir an, um seiner Frau Jeanine und allen Mitgliedern seiner Familie unser aufrichtiges Beileid auszusprechen. Wir haben Menzo Gatte ausgewählt, einen unserer jüngsten Schüler, der durch das Spielen seines "Hits" (wie er sagen würde) "la Roulotte" eine wohlverdiente Hommage zollt. Leb wohl, unser Freund. Im Engelsparadies dort oben ... sei froh, diese junge Generation inspiriert zu haben, die dich so stolz gemacht hat. " |

 Bild oben: Christine Johnstone (links), Kevin Friedrich (Mitte) und Linda Litt (rechts).CIA-Botschafter Kevin Friedrich macht das Beste aus seinem langen Aufenthalt in Neuseeland, während er nicht zu Hause in New York ist. Diesmal kehrt er in die Schule zurück, in der er den Akkordeonunterricht begonnen hat, die Dargaville Primary School. Nachdem die Studenten kürzlich Italienisch studiert hatten, war es eine perfekte Gelegenheit, ein Bildungsprogramm über das Akkordeon und seine starke italienische Verbindung vorzustellen. Das Programm kombinierte Musik, Bewegung und Gesang und zeigte die Geschichte, den Bau und die Musik des Akkordeons. Gleichzeitig konnten begeisterte junge Studenten im Alter von 9 bis 10 Jahren teilnehmen. Während der fünf Konzerte wurden ungefähr 150 junge Studenten mit Musik aus Disney, Star Wars und The Muppet Movies, Volksmusik, Neuheiten und traditioneller neuseeländischer Maori-Musik verwöhnt. Kevin wurde von der Akkordeonistin Christine Johnstone, AWW-Nachrichtenredakteurin und Direktorin des North Shore Music Makers Accordion Orchestra (Auckland, Neuseeland) und Linda Emmett Litt (Schlagzeug und Pauke), der Tochter von Doreen Emmett, unterstützt, die Kevin das Akkordeon in der Dargaville zum ersten Mal in der Grundschule in den 70ger Jahre, beibrachte Die Konzerte werden im Oktober fortgesetzt, wenn das neue Schuljahr mit den bevorstehenden Konzerten beginnt, die den Mittel- und Junior-Syndikaten der Dargaville Primary School präsentiert werden. | Alexander Poeluev has released this video to celebrate the birthday of Rostov-on-Don, the city in Russia where he was born and raised, the city where he met his wife and where his son was born. The premiere of the video took place in the large hall of the Rostov State Music Theater as part of the First International Congress of Culture and Media Volunteers. The Congress was held from 1st to 5th October 2019 in the Rostov Region with the support of the Ministry of Culture, the Public Chamber, the Association of Volunteer Centers of Russia, the Government, Zak. Assembly and Public Chamber of the Rostov Region. The head of the organizing committee is a member of the OPRF Leonid Shafirov. New York based accordionist Kevin Friedrich will celebrate the launch of his CD ‘The Journey’ at an official reception to be held at the Dargaville Methodist Church Hall in Dargaville, New Zealand on October 4th at 2pm. Marking a 30 year collaboration between Kevin and renowned New Zealand composer Gary Daverne, the launch of the CD entirely of Gary’s works, will include a talk by both the artist and composer as well as some sample excerpts from the CD performed both live and as pre-recorded items by Kevin and some of the supporting artists. |

 Alessandro Mugnoz now has a youtube channel. The idea is to tell musical "stories", through various experiences of about forty years. Enjoy this historical recording/video.Felice Fugazza's "Scherzo" (1922-2007), published in 1953 by Farfisa (later Bérben) editions, is one of the first significant Italian compositions dedicated to an accordion ensemble. The author, a truly multifaceted musician (multi-instrumentalist, teacher, composer, arranger, publicist, designer), was one of the fundamental figures for the affirmation and enhancement of the accordion instrument. The present was most likely not our best interpretation, but it is certainly the only one left to testify the ensemble's activity in the early 1980s. The recording, now historical, was made in Potenza Picena (MC) in the summer of 1983; when the group recorded an entire concert / record program in a single session, practically live. Later it was included in the CD "Accordiones in concert", distributed by Prendinota editions. Many of you participated by having fun creating original designs and colours, and Maugein thanks everyone for their efforts.After a few hours of discussions, the Maugein team made their choice and have now produced the instrument! |

| A concert entitled “Otoño Porteño” will be held in the Grand Palace, Bazhenov Hall of the Tsaritsino Reserve Museum on Sunday, September 27th at 4 p.m. The concert is named after the composition "The Seasons in Buenos Aires" by Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla and his music will be part of the concert program. The program will be performed by the winners of international competitions Ivan Dyma (saxophones), Arseniy Strokovskiy (accordion) and Nikolai Kurdyumov (piano). Arseniy Strokovskiy extensive achievements are listed on his website. Ivan Dyma also has extensive achievements also on his website.  The Café Accordion Orchestra (CAO) will perform in the Main Stage Tent at Crooners Supper Club in Minneapolis, MN, USA on October 8th from 7.30pm.The band includes Dan Newton (accordion & vocals), Eric Mohring ( mandolin, violin and vocals), Erik Lillestol (bass and vocals) and Joe Steinger (percussion). Special guest Brian Barnes (guitar and vocals) will join them for this performance.
