 Das 7. Halleiner Akkordeonfestival, mit dem auch das 50-jährige Bestehen des Akkordeon-Orchesters Hallein gefeiert wird, findet vom 16. bis 19. März 2022 im Stadttheater Hallein in Österreich statt.Zu den Interpreten gehören: 16. März: "Next Generation" der Musikschule Musikum Salzburg eröffnet das Festival mit einem Konzert im Musikum Hallein um 18 Uhr, der Eintritt ist frei. 17. März: Das Duo Klak (Bild links), bestehend aus Stefan Kollmann (Akkordeon) und Markus Fellner (Klarinette, Percussion & Gesang), spielt um 19.30 Uhr im Keltenmuseum Hallein Weltmusik. 18. März: Paier-Valcic-Preinfalk (Bild unten) - Klaus Paier (Akkordeon, Bandoneon), Asja Valcic (Cello) und Gerald Preinfalk (Sopransaxophon, Klarinette, Bassklarinette) spielen um 19.30 Uhr im Stadttheater Hallein Stücke aus ihrem Album "Fractal Beauty". 19.   Der Deutsche Harmonika-Verband (DHV Landesverband Baden-Württemberg e. V.) veranstaltet vom 10. bis 14. April 2022 eine "Osterarbeitswoche 2022" in der Bundesakademie für musikalische Jugendbildung Trossingen.Musizieren, kreativ sein, sich weiterbilden und austauschen stehen im Mittelpunkt der Veranstaltung mit Workshops, Abendveranstaltungen und Unterricht durch qualifizierte Dozenten, ergänzt durch ein attraktives und informatives Rahmenprogramm in der Musikstadt Trossingen.  Video: Hanzhi Wang spielt "Hell und Dunkel" von Sofia Gubaidulina (Arr. von Geir Draugsvoll).Das "Eufonija"-Festival für Akkordeon und Kammermusik findet vom 16. bis 22. Mai 2022 an mehreren Orten in der Stadt Novi Sad statt und wird vom Verein "Eufonija" im Rahmen des Matica-Clusters innerhalb des Heroines-Programms organisiert. Das Festival für Akkordeon und Kammermusik wurde vor sieben Jahren in Novi Sad gegründet, um die Kunstmusik für Akkordeon zu fördern und zu entwickeln. Die diesjährige Veranstaltung ist der Förderung von Frauen in der Kunst gewidmet, die mit ihrer Energie und ihrem Engagement die Geschichte des Akkordeons in der Kunstmusik des 20. und 21. Jahrhunderts geprägt haben. Die große Eröffnungszeremonie findet am 18. Mai im serbischen Nationaltheater am Theaterplatz in Novi Sad, Serbien, statt. Auf dem Programm steht ein Auftritt von Hanzhi Wang, einer dänisch-chinesischen Akkordeonistin, die vom Vojvodina Symphony Orchestra begleitet wird. Hanzhi wird die Weltpremiere von "Matica" aufführen, das die bekannte iranische Komponistin Arshia Samsaminia für Akkordeon und Orchester geschrieben hat und das vom "Eufonija"-Festival exklusiv für diese Veranstaltung in Auftrag gegeben wurde.  Ladislav Horák konzertierte am 15. Februar 2022 mit dem Kammerorchester des Prager Konservatoriums (unter der Leitung von Chuhei Iwasaki - Japan) in der Konzerthalle des Konservatoriums. Der Auftritt eröffnete das Festival Eternal Hope 2022 in Prag.Auf dem Programm standen Werke von Pavel Haas - "Studies for Strings" und Ástor Piazzolla - Las Cuatro Estaciones Porteñas (Vier Jahreszeiten in Buenos Aires), darunter Verano Porteño (Sommer - Allegro moderato), Otoño Porteño (Herbst - Allegro moderato), Winter Door (Winter - Slow) und Primavera Porteña (Frühling - Allegro). Das Festivalprogramm wird bis zum 3. April fortgesetzt und umfasst eine Vielzahl von Konzerten, Vorträgen, Diskussionen und literarischen Lesungen. |

März 2022 im Theater l'Escorxador in Lleida, Spanien, einen Improvisationskurs geben, der von der ACDA (Associació Catalana d'Acordionistes) organisiert wird. Die ACDA-Studenten werden verschiedene Methoden der Improvisation erlernen und weiterentwickeln. | Video: Kaiser/Butt New World Jazz Quartet live in Halle, Germany at the 2021 Global Accordion Music Festival Akkordeon Akut. The "Kaiser/Butt New World Jazz Quartet" includes accordionist Valentin Butt, who was also a member of the Landes Accordion Ensemble. After a two-year break, the Global Accordion Music Festival Akkordeon Akut returned to Halle's stages from October 10 to 21, 2021. We would like to thank all partners who made this small but sustainable festival edition possible. The next festival awaits you in the fall of 2023. |

| The 2022 Accordion Star International Competition & Festival will be held online this year from April 15th to 24th, 2022. The competition is organised by founder and director, Sergei Teleshev and is supported by Northwest Accordion Society, Cotati Accordion Festival, Tempo Trend Music, Petosa Accordions, Pigini Accordions and other festivals and organizations in North America, Europe, and Asia. The event will include concerts, master classes, interviews and presentations by competition jurors and festival guests. Accordion students, amateurs and professional accordionists of all ages are welcome to participate. The international jury features leading performers, teachers, composers, conductors, and producers from USA, Canada, Russia, China, Italy, France, Germany, Ukraine, Albania, Sweden, Austria, Belarus, Cyprus, Iran, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Macedonia, Scotland, Serbia, Bosnia and Hercegovina, South Africa, and other countries. Viacheslav Semionov (Russia) is presiding as Jury President. Winners will be announced in 14 categories of varying genres, combos, age groups and instruments (piano, bayan, button, digital and accordion related e.g. bandoneon, concertina, melodica, Russian garmon etc). New competition categories include the “Astor Piazzolla Music Award,” and two categories “Accordion Star 37+” which have no age restrictions and are divided into amateurs and professionals. | The Accordion Association Musicorda will celebrate their 66th anniversary with their first concert since 2019, held at the Muziekcentrum van de Omroep, MCO, Studio1 in Hilversum, Netherlands on March 6th, 2022 at 1.30pm. The concert will include performances by the A-orchestra conducted by Tim Fletcher and the B-orchestra conducted by Roelof van Kooi. Both men “conduct with passion and enthusiasm, and always take the orchestras a step further.” The two orchestras (pictured below) will present a varied program with guest players Fata Morgana (harmonica), Ingrid Lubbers (violin) and Marjolein Ridder (bagpipes).  Sofia Ros will perform the Aconcagua Concerto with the Friends of the Festival orchestra, in the finals of the Edinburgh Music Competition Festival on March 13th, 2022. She will compete with three other finalists playing piano, cello and violin.The event will be held at the Queen’s Hall in Edinburgh, Scotland. Five days later, on March 18th, Sofia will give a solo recital at the Purcell Room in London, England. |

| Video: Flogging Molly - Live From Ireland (Covid 19 Stream) playing The Hand Of John L. Sullivan and Devil's Dance Floor. Seven piece Celtic punk band “Flogging Molly” will perform a live (and online) concert to celebrate St Patrick’s Day at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, USA on March 17th, 2022, presented by Bushmills. The event also celebrates the grand re-opening of the group’s free annual outdoor festival, which includes “a day stacked with live performances, beer, food, games and more!” In addition, their performance will celebrate the release of their brand new single “These Times Have Got Me Drinking”, arriving worldwide on March 10th through Rise Records. “Flogging Molly” includes Matt Hensley (accordion, concertina, vocals) along with players of a variety of instruments such as guitar, bodhran, violin, tin whistle, bass guitar, mandolin, banjo, drums, percussion and vocalists. | Video: "Firedance" by Duo Two Accordions Duo Two Accordions (Sergei Teleshev and Maria Telesheva) will give an online concert for the San Francisco Accordion Club on March 20th, 2022. Maria Telesheva was six years old when she started to play the accordion (taught by her father, Sergei Teleshev) and two months after Maria started playing, she won her first International Competition. Since then, she has won several International Competitions in the United States, Canada, Australia, Italy, and Belarus. Classically trained at the Academy of Music in Voronezh, Russia, Sergei Teleshev is a winner of many international accordion competitions. Being the founding member and accordion player of Trio Voronezh (Russia/USA), Classic Klezmer Trio (Sweden), Valinor Quartet (USA/UK), East-West International Project (USA/Japan), Sergei & Nati (USA/Russia) and Duo Two Accordions (USA), he collaborates with many internationally recognized artists, ensembles, and orchestras, composing and arranging music. It is a special treat to listen to the duo of Sergei Teleshev and Maria Telesheva. Their performances are entertaining, virtuosic, and delightful to watch. Hvorostovsky with a concert dedicated to the All-Russian Day of Bayan, Accordion and Harmonica held on March 24th, 2022 at 6.30pm. Students of the class of professors, Honored Artists of Russia S.F. Naiko and I.A. Gerber will perform along with laureates of interregional, all-Russian and international competitions and festivals.  Video: Promotionsvideo der CNIMA AkkordeonschuleDas CNIMA (Centre National et International de Musique et d'Accordéon) ist eine in Frankreich ansässige Akkordeonschule, die von dem berühmten Akkordeonlehrer Jacques Mornet und der preisgekrönten Akkordeonistin Nathalie Boucheix (links im Bild) gegründet wurde, die im kommenden Frühjahr 2022 eine CNIMA-Lehrtournee in den USA durchführen werden. Die Tournee umfasst Meisterkurse, Workshops und Vorführungen und ist offen für alle Altersgruppen, alle Niveaus und alle Stilrichtungen und eignet sich für Klavier und Knopfakkordeon. Die Tourdaten lauten wie folgt: - 25. Mai von 14.00 bis 17.00 Uhr: Akkordeon-Meisterkurs am South Oxford Place (BK) in New York City - 30. Mai um 14 Uhr bis 3. Juni um 12.30 Uhr: Viertägiger Akkordeon-Workshop in der Alliance Française in New Orleans - 5. Juni von 14.00 bis 17.00 Uhr: Akkordeon-Meisterkurs im Petosa Accordion Shop in Seattle - 9. Juni um 19 Uhr: Akkordeon-Vorführung in der Alliance Française in Los Angeles Jacques Mornet hat weltweit unterrichtet und wurde mit dem Gus-Viseur-Preis und der Silbernen Scheibe der russischen Gnessin-Akademie ausgezeichnet. 2003 erhielt er den CIA Merit Award. Mornets Technik besteht darin, das Akkordeon als Blasinstrument und nicht als Tasteninstrument zu betrachten. Der richtige Einsatz des Blasebalgs in Verbindung mit dem richtigen Anschlag der Tasten führt zu herausragenden Ergebnissen, die das eigene Spiel verändern und die Musikalität befreien. Die CNIMA-Schüler haben zahlreiche Erfolge erzielt, darunter die Rekordzahl von 126 Preisen bei internationalen Wettbewerben.
