September online unter: 2022Castelfidardo Die Stadtverwaltung von Castelfidardo (Region Marken, Italien) ruft in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Fremdenverkehrsverein Castelfidardo Pro Loco den internationalen Wettbewerb PIF "Città di Castelfidardo" für Akkordeon-Solisten und -Gruppen der klassischen Musik und anderer Genres sowie ein Musikfestival mit Akkordeon aus. Die Gemeindeverwaltung von Castelfidardo wird von Bürgermeister Roberto Ascani geleitet, die Pro Loco von Castelfidardo von Ruben Cittadini und 2022 der künstlerische Leiter des PIF Antonio Spaccarotella. Auf der gestrigen Pressekonferenz äußerten sie sich erfreut über das Niveau der Beiträge und die positive Zukunft mit vielen verschiedenen Musikstilen, die in Wettbewerben und Konzerten aufgeführt werden. Außerdem sprachen der Präsident der Association Music Marche Accordions (AMMA) Mirco Soprani und Cesare Sampaolesi vom Nugo-Creative Collective. Bildbericht: 2022Peace Der Verein Pantonale e.V. hat sich durch seine jährlich organisierten Festivals PHILHARMONIKA, die jedes Jahr unter einem anderen Motto stehen und auch international viel Beachtung finden, nicht nur in Akkordeonkreisen einen Namen gemacht. Nach dem Astor Piazzolla gewidmeten Festival „Berlin feiert Piazzolla“ im letzten Jahr hat sich Pantonale aufgrund der aktuellen geopolitischen Lage heuer dafür entschieden, ein Friedensfestival in der Berliner Philharmonie und am Brandenburger Tor zu organisieren. Getreu den Worten des Dalai Lama „Der Frieden beginnt in uns“. Zu diesem Festival kamen nicht nur Künstler aus der Ukraine und Russland, sondern es wurden auch Musiker aus Frankreich, Italien, Kolumbien, Österreich und Deutschland erwartet. Die preisgekrönten Akkordeonisten Yuri Shishkin, Eduard Akhanov, Volodymyr Kashuta und der Gitarrist Vitaliy Shal gestalteten das Eröffnungskonzert in der Trinitatis Kirche Berlin Charlottenburg. Das „Kollektiv Duo" Raphael Brunner, Akkordeon und Juan Carlos Diaz, Flöte aus Österreich und Kolumbien begeistert im Moment die Weltmusikszene und gab eigene Kompositionen wie „Plátano“ und „Gameflow“ zum Besten. Das „Quinteto Respiro“ aus Frankreich, Gewinner des Piazzolla Musik Wettbewerbs 2021, stellte sein neues Programm „Bilder einer Ausstellung“ von Modest Mussorgski, arr. Gustavo Beytelmann vor. Die Konzertprogramme enthielten auch Werke des ukrainischen Komponisten Viktor Vlasov sowie von Georg Gershwin und Alexander Tsfasman, ein Streichquintett der Berliner Symphoniker sowie der Pianist Dmitri Pavlov umrahmten die Konzerte musikalisch. | Das 33. Shetland Accordion and Fiddle Festival wird vom 6. bis 9. Oktober 2022 im Islesburgh Community Centre in Lerwick, Shetland, Schottland, stattfinden und vom Shetland Accordion and Fiddle Club organisiert. Über 60 eingeladene Gastmusiker, darunter Full Scottish Dance Bands, kleinere Gruppen und Solomusiker sowie zahlreiche lokale Musiker, Bands und Gruppen bilden die Grundlage des Festivals. Das Festival wird auch von verschiedenen schottischen traditionellen Tanzgruppen, Liebhabern und Touristen aus dem ganzen Land besucht. Der Grand Dance, für viele der Höhepunkt des Wochenendes, findet am Samstagabend im Clickimin Centre statt. Dieser feierliche Tanz zieht über 600 Gäste an und besteht aus 7 Stunden traditioneller schottischer Tänze ohne Unterbrechung, wobei 10 der besten Shetland- und schottischen Tanzbands für Unterhaltung sorgen.  Die Association Music Marche Accordions (AMMA) stellt einen Betrag von 500 Euro zur Verfügung, um den Preis des Coupe Mondiale Gewinners zu ergänzen!Das Preisgeld wurde vom CIA-Exekutivkomitee bewilligt, das hofft, dass AAMA-Präsident Mirco Soprani (ehemaliger Bürgermeister von Castelfidardo, Bild rechts) nach Zofingen reisen wird, um den Preis zu überreichen. Die AMMA ist eine Organisation mit Sitz in der italienischen Region Marken, die vor über 20 Jahren gegründet wurde. Es handelt sich um einen gemeinnützigen Verband, der 35 Unternehmen, darunter Hersteller und Komponenten des Akkordeonsektors, zusammenbringt. Ihr Hauptziel ist es, das Akkordeon und sein kulturelles, produktives und künstlerisches Erbe auf nationaler und internationaler Ebene zu fördern sowie das Wissen, das Interesse und die Leidenschaft für dieses Instrument an künftige Generationen weiterzugeben. |

 Video: Klaus Paier, Gerald Preinfalk and Asja Valcic live at St Pauler Kultursommer 2021.Klaus Paier entertained live on accordion and bandoneon at the Jazz, Folk & Bike Club in Syke, Bremen, Germany this week. He was accompanied by Gerald Preinfalk (soprano saxophone, clarinet & bass clarinet) and Croatian cellist Asja Valcic in the concert hall of the Kreissparkasse with its excellent acoustics. “The listeners could revel in the rich timbres of the instruments, which the musicians mastered in all registers.” The trio's current album is released by the German label Skip Records and is titled “Fractal Beauty”. |

| Two concerts in the upcoming Sharon Shannon Trio tour of Canada have now sold out. The tour begins in Vancouver on October 2nd, with concerts in Victoria, Calgary and Canmore, Alberta through to October 9th, 2022. Sharon is known for her arrangements of traditional Irish tunes and Irish influenced compositions, as well as a variety of music genres such as hip hop, cajun, country, classical and rap.   Super Orchestra Day is returning, after a long break due to Covid-19 and is one of the biggest annual accordion orchestra training days in the UK.This year’s event will take place at the Cobham Village Hall (picture right) in Cobham, Surrey, England on October 9th, 2022 from 10.30am to 7pm. Julie Luck, well-respected, teacher, and leader of the London Accordion Orchestra will oversee the day, with over 80 accordionists expected to attend. The event gives accordionists the opportunity to join and meet other players and share in their love for the accordion and the music. An evening concert will be held featuring the groups who have taken part and a mass Orchestra will perform pieces they have worked on during the day. For the first time this year organisers will introduce a “mini orchestra” with a free day of ensemble playing for Under 16's in the rear hall. A range of instruments will be available for children to borrow for the day and encourage kids who have never played the accordion before to give it a try. All players must register.  Accordionist Anthony Schulz (picture left) will perform in a production of “Zulya and the Children of the Underground” at the Melbourne Recital Centre Primrose Potter Salon in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on November 12th, 2022 at 7pm.Anthony Schulz, along with vocalist Zulya Kamolava, Lucas Michailidis (guitar), Andrew Tanner (double bass) and Phil Collings (drums), will present “the Australian premiere of Komostan, a project created in collaboration with Dutch producer MFO in 2015. Together with the inimitable Children of the Underground, Zulya will perform an acoustic adaptation of the original works.” “The piece follows the legend of Tataeli, the daughter of Aelita, queen of Mars and the first Tatar space explorer Ilgizar Zinnatullin, taking listeners on an otherworldly journey through deep space. Its epic and modal elements produce an elegant and romantic stream of music, shifting pentatonic paradigms toward new horizons and creating an imaginary system of parallel worlds for listeners to become immersed in.” |

 Die Akkordeonfabrik Scandalli ist Sponsor des Videoarchiv- und Bildungsprojekts, 2022 Coupe Mondiale, 4-9 Oktober, Schweiz.Das "Video Archive Education Project" ist ein Projekt, das 2010 von der Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA) mit Unterstützung von Sponsoren und Accordions Worldwide initiiert wurde. Die Videos sollten ca. 1 Stunde nach dem Live-Auftritt oder dem Live-Wettbewerb online sein, und die Zuschauer können sich kostenlos Videos von Coupe Mondiale-Wettbewerben herunterladen, in denen eine breite Palette verschiedener Musikarten und -stile gespielt wird. Das Projekt umfasst ein Video aller Coupe Mondiale-Kategorien und ihrer Teilnehmer, das in den CIA-Archiven in Finnland aufbewahrt wird und in den kommenden Jahren zu einer Fülle historischer Aufnahmen werden wird, einschließlich der Premiere vieler Original-Akkordeonwerke und des Auftretens aufstrebender Künstler beim Coupe Mondiale.  It gives me great pleasure to announce that I have completed the expansion of yet another of my 22 original articles on the AAA commissioned concert works each of which appeared annually in the AAA Festival Journal between 1997 and 2019. This article examines the Adagio and Rondo Concertante, for two accordions & orchestra, by Paul Pisk, and Sonatina, for solo accordion, by David Diamond. http://www.ameraccord.com/aaacommissions8.php As with my previous revisions, this one adds more historical and analytical information than was in the original article plus the new and much needed feature of musical examples. Regarding the latter, a new element in this latest revision is the presence of sound files to accompany the musical excerpts of the Pisk work, thus allowing the reader to hear the excerpts while viewing them in print. Oktober 2022) zu helfen.Sie helfen dem CIA Video Archive and Education Project, Akkordeonisten und Lehrern auf der ganzen Welt einen kostenlosen Service mit Videos von allen Wettbewerben und Konzerten des Coupe Mondiale 2022 zur Verfügung zu stellen. Das Filmen der Videos ist nicht kompliziert, und es wird eine Schulung angeboten. Freiwillige im Alter von 15 Jahren bis hin zu Rentnern sind aufgerufen, sich zu melden und mitzuhelfen.
