X11 International Accordion Festival, Vilnius – Lithuaniaby Rob Howard |
 The 12th International Accordion Festival Vilnius, Lithuania, takes place on November 9th at venues in Vilnius, organised by the Lithuanian Accordion Association. The Artistic Director is Raimondas Sviackevicius. This is a non-competitive festival, based around performance events involving leading national and international accordionists and ensembles. The guest artistes this year include: - Bester Quartet (Poland), - Kimmo Pohjonen (Finland), - Luciano Biondini (Italy) - Steffan Hussong (Germany) - Primoz Parovel (Slovenia) - 4TANGO (Lithuania) - Viktor Novikov (Russia) - Chordos (Lithuania) - Consona (Lithuania) - AccID Orchestra (Lithuania), and numerous others.
