Konzert zum Weltakkordeontag von MAA, Skopje - Nordmazedonienby Anica Karakutovska |

  MAA Präsidentin: Zorica Karakutovska schreibt, dass "der mazedonische Akkordeonistenverband "Ljubiteli na klasichna muzika" (MAA) - Skopje seit den Anfängen im Jahr 2009 das internationale CIA-Projekt "6. Mai - Weltakkordeontag" (WAD) mit verschiedenen spannenden musikalischen Veranstaltungen unterstützt.In diesem Jahr organisiert der Verein zum 14. Mal ein feierliches Konzert zur Feier des internationalen WAD und zum Geburtstag des Instruments. Oben sehen Sie das Plakat für das WAD-Konzert, das am 7. Mai im Saal der Philharmonie in Skopje stattfindet. Plakat herunterladen: 2022Skopje.pdf Beim diesjährigen Konzert wird der besondere Gast Mirco Patarini (Italien, Bild unten) die Uraufführung der Komposition "Dafino" des berühmten mazedonischen Komponisten Bete Ilin spielen. Die Komposition wurde speziell für diese Veranstaltung komponiert und ist dem CIA-Präsidenten Mirco Patarini und der Unterstützung der WAD gewidmet. Bete Ilin hat viele Akkordeonwerke komponiert, die auf fast allen Kontinenten der Welt aufgeführt wurden. Video oben: Die Komposition "The New Tomorrow" wurde 2017 in der Schweiz von Grayson Masefield in Anwesenheit von Bete Ilin, Zorica und Anica Karakutovska uraufgeführt. "The New Tomorrow" wurde auch von Grayson Masefield für die WAD 2017 in Skopje aufgeführt. (Die Präsidentin des MAA und Professorin an der Musikfakultät in Skopje, Zorica Karakutovska, hat auch eine Reihe von Werken von Bete Ilin uraufgeführt, die 2015 in Finnland für ihre Verdienste um das Akkordeon mit dem CIA Honored Friend of the Accordion Award ausgezeichnet wurde.  Der 45. Internationale Akkordeonwettbewerb 2022 wird vom 24. bis 27. Mai 2022 im Armeehaus - Dom hrvatskih branitelja - in Pula, Kroatien, stattfinden und von Okud Istra organisiert.Der Wettbewerb umfasst verschiedene Solokategorien von 9 Jahren bis hin zu offenen Kategorien mit Standardbass, Konzertkategorien, Kammerensembles und Orchestern. Zu den Wettbewerbspreisen gehören die Pokale der Stadt Pula, die Okud-"Istra"-Preise, die Preise des kroatischen Komponistenverbandes (die unabhängig von der Kategorie an den Solisten für die beste Darbietung einer Komposition eines kroatischen Komponisten vergeben werden), verschiedene Sonderpreise, Diplome und Teilnahmeurkunden. | Die 25. Internationale Woche des Akkordeons "Alcobaça 2022" findet vom 21. bis 29. Mai 2022 statt und wird vom portugiesischen Akkordeonverband (Präsident Aníbal Freire) zusammen mit der Gemeinde Alcobaça und dem Orquestra Típica e Coral de Alcobaça organisiert. Die Veranstaltung umfasst den 25. nationalen Wettbewerb, den 6. internationalen Akkordeonwettbewerb "City of Alcobaça", acht Konzerte, drei Meisterkurse und Konferenzen. Es gibt Wettbewerbsklassen für eine Vielzahl von Altersgruppen von Junior bis Senior für Solisten, Duos, Trios, Quartette, Orchester und Kammermusikinterpreten in den Kategorien Standardbass und Freebass. | Das 9. Internationale Akkordeonfestival Stadskanaal wird am 15. Mai 2022 im Geert Teis Theater in Stadskanaal, Niederlande, stattfinden. Dies ist der neue Termin für das Festival, das am 6. März aufgrund von Covid-19 verschoben wurde. Das Festival bietet ein abwechslungsreiches Programm mit Auftritten der Akkordeonisten Dantong Wang (China), Mathias Rugsveen (Norwegen) und aus den Niederlanden Jean Louis van Dam, dem jungen Talent Jan Timmer und Maaike Boscher an der Harfe zusammen mit der Akkordeonistin Gertie Bruin. | Video: 5/4 Tango spielen Astor Piazzolla - Tristezas de un doble A "5/4 Tango" wird ihr neues Tangoprogramm in Verbindung mit dem 2. Europäischen Musikfestival bei Cantus Firmus in der Bulgaria Concert Hall in Sofia, Bulgarien am 16. Mai 2022 um 19.30 Uhr präsentieren. Das Europäische Musikfestival wird vom bulgarischen Kulturministerium, dem Nationalen Kulturfonds und der Stadtverwaltung von Sofia unterstützt. Bei "5/4 Tango" spielen Stoyan Karaivanov (Bandoneon), Jovan Bogosavljevic (Violine), Tsvetan Nedyalkov (Gitarre), Margarita Kalcheva (Kontrabass) und Ludmil Angelov (Klavier). Marta Petkova und Nikola Hadjitanev, Tänzer der Sofioter Opern- und Ballettkompanie, werden die Gruppe begleiten. | Der italienische Akkordeonist Pietro Roffi wird nächsten Monat, vom 5. bis 16. Mai 2022, durch Südafrika touren und fünf Konzerte in Sasolburg, Welkom, Bloemfontein, Johannesburg und Pretoria geben. Das Odeion String Quartet wird ihn bei einem Programm begleiten, das eine neue Bearbeitung der Vier Jahreszeiten (Vivaldi), eine Hommage an Piazzolla und einige von Pietros eigenen Kompositionen umfasst.  Buchungen für das Swaledale Squeeze Concertina Weekend 2022, das vom 20. bis 22. Mai 2022 in der Grinton Lodge in Swaledale, Grinton, England, UK stattfinden wird, sind jetzt möglich.Die Veranstaltung ist ein "geselliges Wochenende mit Konzertina-Spielen, Treffen mit Freunden, Workshops, einem Konzert, einem Ceilidh, Sessions und Wanderungen im Komfort der Grinton Lodge und in fantastischer Landschaft". Gastdozenten für den 2022 Squeeze sind: - Aisling Lyons (Irland) für Anglo - Rob Say (Northumberland) für Englisch - Matt Quinn (Sussex) für Duett Regelmäßige Tutoren sind: Alex Wade (Englisches Konzertina) Harry Scurfield (Anglo Konzertina) Paul Walker (Englisch/Anglo Konzertina) Carolyn Wade (Band) Dave Ball (Band/Englisch Konzertina) Gemeinsam bieten sie Workshops an, die ein ganzes Spektrum des Konzertinaspiels für unterschiedliche Fähigkeiten, Systeme und Stile abdecken.  Die lettische Akkordeonistin Ksenija Sidorova verzückte im Trio mit Avi Avital (Mandoline) und Amir Wahba (Perkussion) das Publikum des Großen Saals des Wiener Konzerthauses auf ihrer musikalischen Reise durch Raum und Zeit. Avital und Sidorova haben den Ruf ihrer Instrumente, die lange nur als Folkloreinstrument belächelt wurden, und ihr Repertoire virtuos entstaubt und so die historische Lücke in der Literatur ihrer jungen Instrumente gefüllt. Das Besondere ihres Programms „Between Worlds“ ist die außergewöhnliche Besetzung: Avital wurde als erster Mandolinist für einen Grammy nominiert, ECHO-Preisträgerin Ksenija Sidorova ist eine grandiose Akkordeonistin und Amir Wahba ein international gefragter Schlagwerker. Wie Avi Avital gilt auch die Lettin Ksenija Sidorova als vielseitige Botschafterin ihres Instruments. Perkussionist Amir Wahba bereichert das geniale Trio mit seiner Vorliebe für die unterschiedlichsten Musikstile der Welt. Die faszinierende Gratwanderung zwischen Stilen und Epochen, zwischen Regionen und Kulturen, die musikalisch eine unaufgeregte, harmonische Koexistenz führen, lässt ins Träumen geraten. |

| The Folefest Ensemble, which features Paulo Jorge Ferreira (accordion) and Catherine Strynckx (cello) performed a concert to commemorate the 90th anniversary of Sofia Gubaidulina on April 22nd, 2022. The concert, which was held at the Centro Cultural de Belem in Lisbon, Portugal included a performance of “Sonata Et Expecto” (1985) with accordionist Fábio Palma, “De Profundis” 1978 with accordionist Fernando Brites and “Seven Words” (1982) for cello, accordion, and orchestra. |

 Video: Quinteto Astor Piazzolla performing works from their new album “Triunfal” at the Centro Cultural Kirchner in 2021.The Quinteto Astor Piazzolla performed a free concert at the Centro Cultural Borges in Buenos Aires, Argentina on April 22nd, 2022. The Cultural Centre (picture left) was reopened a few weeks ago by the Ministry of Culture and was named in tribute to one of Argentina's most acclaimed writers Jorge Luis Borges. It hosts art exhibitions, shows, seminars, conferences, workshops and other events, ranging from the visual arts to tango. The Quinteto, which includes Pablo Mainetti (bandoneon) performed a variety of works by Astor Piazzolla. |

| The 3rd OnePeopleOnePlanet is the multimedia marathon, of 14 hours, scheduled for April 22nd, 2022 from 8.30am to 10.30pm to celebrate the 52nd World Earth Day. The event was held live at the Auditorium della Nuvola in Fuksas, Rome, with live streaming on Rai Play and deferred on Vatican News, for a great world party to protect the Planet in which accordionist Marco Lo Russo Rouge participated. Lo Russo performed The voices of the Earth promoted by the Marco Lo Russo Music Center APS Association during the final event of the marathon. Made in Italy concerts were also broadcast, a reinterpretation of Italian music with Marco Lo Russo and other artists from around the world including from Mexico (the Duo la Boquita, with the voice of Silvia Basurto Castellanos and Paolo Uccelli on guitar) and from Argentina with double bass player Javier Claudio Nunez. The voice of the Earth also included the participation of numerous artists from Italy and the world including Giovanni Allevi, Tony Esposito, Simone Cristicchi, Licia Colò, Dargen D'Amico, Uranus, Massimiliano Ossini, Raul Bova, Marco Lo Russo, La Boquita and many others. | The Romano Viazzani Ensemble will perform "A London Tango for Europe Day" at St. John’s in Smith Square, London, England on May 8th, 2022, organised by Seeds of Italy in association with EUFM. “This concert falls right in the middle of the celebrations commemorating various European historic anniversaries. The concert takes place on VE Day (on the 8th) and between The Council of Europe’s Europe Day (on the 5th), which the United Kingdom is still a part of and the EU’s Europe Day (on the 9th) which celebrates peace and unity in Europe.” The Ensemble will play a mix of original Argentine tangos, European tangos and their own special brand of Argentine-style tango with a swinging-London twist. Joining them for a special guest appearance is the operatic tenor and BBC New Generation Artist, Alessandro Fisher. |

| The Langen-Dietzenbach 20th Anniversary Concert will be held at the New City Hall in Langen, Germany on May 14th, 2022 at 5pm, organised by the Harmonika Spielring Langen. The concert entitled “Thank you for the Music” will include a variety of music from the past 20 years such as hits from Abba, Metallica, a tango, as well as musical hits.
