 13 февраля в Белорусской государственной филармонии в Минске состоялся концерт Фридриха Липса с Государственным Камерным Оркестром Республики Беларусь (дирижер Евгений Бушков). В программу были включены сочинения Войцеха Килара (Wojciech Kilar) ‘Orava’ для струнного оркестра, Гии Канчели ‘Capote’ для баяна, ударных, бас-гитары и струнного оркестра (белорусская премьера), которые прозвучали в первом отделении, а также Константина Яськова «Гимн Афродите» для баяна и струнных (мировая премьера, специально написанная для этого концерта) и Ефрема Подгайца ‘Viva Voce’ для баяна и камерного оркестра. Публика стоя приветствовала артиста, после чего Липс исполнил на бис два танго А. Пьяццоллы. | Видео: черкесский ансамбль Кфар-Камы Дуэт «Баян-MIX» и Валерий Семин выступили на приеме в рамках Зимней Олимпиады в Сочи. В мероприятии приняли участие президент России Владимир Путин, который был впечатлен игрой приглашенных баянистов. Ваше фото президента Путина и дуэта «Баян-MIX». Зимние Олимпийские игры – одно из основных комплексных спортивных международных мероприятий – проходят в Сочи с 7 по 23 февраля. Сочи считается прежней столицей черкесского народа, Северо-Кавказской этнической группы, которая в значительной степени была перемещена из этой области в конце 1800-х годов после Русско-Кавсказской войны. Черкесская народная музыка отличается зажигательным характером и исполняется с использованием в основном национальных гармоник, флейт и старинных ударных инструментов. Черкесский ансамбль Кфар-Камы – один из черкесских фольклорных ансамблей, которые выступали в Сочи. На видео выше ансамбль исполняет черкесскую фольклорную музыку. |

  7 февраля в Московском Кремлевском Дворце состоялся концерт с участием известного российского аккордеониста Валерия Ковтуна (фото слева), который привлек аудиторию в 6000 человек. С 17 лет Ковтун играет сольные концерты в сопровождении лучших симфонических оркестров и ансамблей. Организаторы были очень рады пригласить в качестве специального гостя Мирко Патарини – концертного исполнителя и президента фирмы ‘Scandalli’, Италия. Он привел публику в восторг своим исполнением «Польки» Пьетро Фросини и вариациями на тему 24 каприса Никколо Паганини. На фото выше Валерий Ковтун, Мирко Патарини и Александр Селиванов. Среди других гостей в концерте приняли участие Александр Коломийцев (обладатель «Кубка мира» и «Трофея мира» 2013 года, на фото справа) из Санкт-Петербурга, Никита Власов (победитель конкурса «Акко-Холидей» 2013) из Нижнего Новгорода и Елисавета Кейзерова из Минска, Беларусь. |

Открытый аккордеонный фестиваль-конкурс NAO Северной Ирландии, Кэррикфергюс – Великобританияby Rob Howard |

  В субботу 22 февраля Кэрригфергюс, Антрим, в очередной раз принимает у себя крупнейший в Северной Ирландии аккордеонный фестиваль. 17-й ежегодный открытый аккордеонный конкурс Национальной Аккордеонной Ассоциации (NAO) Северной Ирландии, организованный местным преподавателем Клайдом Джонстоном (Clyde Johnston), привлек рекордные 215 заявок участников из Англии, Шотландии и Ирландской Республики, а также большое количество местных участников. Обычно на конкурс приходило порядка 140-150 заявок, но после переезда чемпионата в Кэррикфергюс 4 года назад, количество заявок неуклонно растет. Рекорд прошлого года в 210 заявок был превзойден в этом году. Мероприятие обещает стать настоящим праздником аккордеонной музыки, который будет проходит в трех залах в течение всего дня. На конкурсе будут представлены все типы аккордеонной музыки, начиная от классики и заканчивая местным фольклором, в исполнении солистов, дуэтов, ансамблей и оркестров всех возрастов и уровней. Праздник аккордеона начнется в отеле ‘Clarion Hotel’ Кэррикфергюса, где с 9 утра до 5 вечера будут проходить прослушивания, и продолжится вечерней церемонией награждения и танцевальным вечером. Вход на дневные прослушивания свободный. Этот фестиваль-конкурс является отборочным к чемпионату NAO Великобритании, который состоится в зале отеля “Adelphi Hotel”, Ливерпуль, с 25 по 27 апреля (афиша слева). Кроме того, состоятся еще 2 фестиваля локальных подразделений NAO: 22 февраля в Пейсли, Шотландия (организатор Брайан Лори), и 23 февраля в Северо-Западной Англии, Манчестер (организатор Марика Пронижин). This video grabbed top spot for the 20th January World Music Video Chart on websiite beat100.com Below are excerpts from an article published by the New Zealand music guide MusicNation.co.nz TNT is an Auckland (New Zealand) based professional female trio that was formed in 2011 to bring a fresh sound and dimension to the music scene worldwide. Following the international phenomenon and success of classical crossover female string quartets and trios that launched over the last decade, TNT’s originality, instrument choice, sound, compositions and presentation style is unique. The combination of electric violin / electric cello / and electric digital accordion creates a new dimension and pushes once again the boundaries, ensuring that these glamorous and provocative young women stand out from what has gone before. TNT creates original compositions that take a mix of modern genres fused with world music and the group is working closely with the music producer Mark Watson (Australia) who brings his skills to TNT’s sound and arrangements. |

 A short video, ‘The band plays on…’, takes a look at the activities and members of the Cheshire-based Weaver Valley Accordion Band. Founded in 1982 by MD Ken Farran, the WVAB has performed regularly in concerts and NAO and other contests, and has performed in Germany and the Netherlands. The WVAB has a broad repertoire, and has recorded three CDs. Ken Farran, a well-known accordion teacher and adjudicator is a Vice President of the National Accordion Organisation of the United Kingdom (NAO), and a member of the Governing Council and the Teachers Advisory Council of the British College of Accordionists. In 2000 he was given an Award of Merit from the NAO for his services to the accordion, and in Ken travelled to Italy for the 2012 65th CIA Coupe Mondiale where he received the prestigious ‘Honored Friend of the Accordion’ award (picture left with his wife Wendy Farran) in appreciation for his outstanding contributions to the accordion movement.  The Accordions Worldwide news for the week ending February 25th 2000 included dates for some concerts by Myron Floren, by then a veteran accordionist. Myron Floren (1919-2005), an American of Norwegian descent, was best known as the accordion soloist with the Lawrence Welk Orchestra, from 1950 to 1982. Throughout most of these years Floren was seen playing on the weekly ‘Lawrence Welk Show’ on TV, which made him a household name. He also ran the Myron Floren Orchestra and did many solo concerts and recordings. Floren's autobiography ‘Accordion Man’ was published in 1981. In 1992 the Confédération International des Accordéonistes awarded Myron Floren their Merit Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the international accordion movement.Myron Floren on the Road Again – USA Contributed by Faithe Deffner, Ernest Deffner Publications The indomitable Myron Floren will perform in Hildago, Texas on March 4th and 5th with the Dean Conti Band. A week later, he will play with Warren Bill's Band in Deland and Orlando, Florida, followed by a stint at Cypress Gardens on March 11th and 12th, and in Daytona on March 14th. He is booked in California and Indiana during April and May and will appear at the Welk Resort in Branson, Missouri from May 30th to June 3rd. |
