 Dr. William Schimmel performs this month and January, as follows:December 31st, 7.30pm - New Year’s Eve Concert with the soprano Rene Fleming and the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, performing Broadway and film hits, Viennese waltzes, and operetta gems at the David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center, Manhattan, New York January 5th, 6th, 8th, 9th, 11th, 12th - ‘4.48 Psychosis’ by Philip Venables, an Opera in 1 Act (US premiere) – an event in the Prototype Festival, Lehman College, New York Dr William Schimmel is a leading accordionist, composer and academic, based in New York, where he organises the annual ‘Master Class and Concert Series (The Seminars)’ sponsored by the American Accordionists' Association. He received a Merit Award from the AAA for his contributions spanning fifty years plus the "Accordionist of the Year" Award in 1988.
