 Algarvian accordionist Nelson Conceição (picture left) received a double nomination for the International Portuguese Music Awards (IPMA) 2020. Winners will be announced on April 25th, at the Zeiterion Theatre in New Bedford, Massachusetts (USA).Nelson Conceição was nominated in two categories: "Best Instrumental Performance" with the theme Mister Machado and "Best Traditional Performance" with Charolesca. The two themes are part of the CD Descobrindo-me, released last year. The 2020 International Portuguese Music Awards include 13 categories with nominees from eight different countries. |
