 The Quinteto del Fuego, from Switzerland, perform the music of Astor Piazzolla on a short concert tour organised by and as part of the New York Chamber Music Festival. The dates include:Sunday January 22nd, 7.30pm – St Stephen’s Church, New York City Monday January 23rd, 7.30pm – Miller Chapel (Theological Seminary), Princeton, New Jersey Tuesday January 24th, 7.30pm - Trinity Memorial Church, Philadelphia Wednesday January 25th, 7.30pm - St Stephen’s Church, New York City The members of Quinteto del Fuego are Stéphane Chapuis (bandoneon), Elmira Darvarova (violin), Lionel Monnet (piano), Irina-Kalina Goudeva (double bass), and George Vassilev (guitar). Upcoming in the Spring of 2017 is their debut CD recording of masterpieces by Piazzolla on Affetto/Naxos. |
