19eme Festival international d’ Artistes Accordéon, Kragujevac - Serbieby Rob Howard |
 Le 19e Festival international de la Accordéon Solistes et la 20e école d'été pour les élèves et étudiants de l'accordéon lieu à Kragujevac, en Serbie, à partir de Juillet 5e au 14e rang. Les organisateurs du Festival, Music Center Ad Libitum et l'École de Musique de Kragujevac, ont invité des lauréats du concours international d'accordéon dans les 12 derniers mois et les enseignants de cette école d'été de l'année. Cette année, le festival sera donc fonction de la suite de solistes, de réaliser dans la salle de concert de Kragujevac Gymnasium: Vladislav Pligovka, Belarus - vainqueur de Castelfidardo et de la CIA Coupe Mondiale concours Dinitri Bouclier, France - vainqueur du Trophée CMA Mondiale Nikola Tanaskovic, Serbie - vainqueur de la concurrence dans Arrasate, Espagne Segei Shmelkov, Russie - vainqueur de la compétition à Shanghai, en Chine Alexandar Khrustevitch, Ukraine - vainqueur de la concurrence, à Kiev, Ukraine Klemen Leben, Slovénie - vainqueur de la concurrence dans Klingenthal, en Allemagne Yuri Shishkin, Russie - professeur à l'École d'été Mika Väyrynen, Finlande - professeur à l'université d'été Le festival s'ouvrira le 5e Juillet avec un concert mettant en vedette les meilleurs élèves de l'écoles de musique Kragujevac, et fermé le 14e Juillet avec un concert mettant en vedette les meilleurs participants à la Summer School.  Aidar Gaynullin a obtenu une nomination pour le «Meilleur musique de film pour le film de Ivan Vyrypaev 'Oxygène' au 20e festival du film russe" Kinotavr ". Le film 'Oxygène' est un film-clip musical composé de dix-compositions dramatiques. Chaque composition correspond à un thème et un héros. Le film est conçu pour les spectateurs de 15 à 35 ans et promet de devenir un culte de l'image. En son temps, la performance créée par Ivan Vyrypaev sur la base du jeu »d'oxygène», a reçu toutes les récompenses prestigieuses de théâtre, y compris le «Masque d'or», et fait désormais partie de l'histoire du théâtre comme le manifeste d'un nouveau drame et de la production de la trentaine. "Classics in Jazz” Album CD de Wolmer Beltrami - Italie, Allemagneby Holda Paoletti-Kampl |
 Les Musicales Würzburger (Wurzburger Musikverlag) -Elwephon Records R & T / Allemagne (www.wurzburger-musikverlag.com) a publié un CD, "Classics in Jazz", contenant 12 compositions de pièces de compositeurs connus, organisé et exécuté dans le style de jazz, à la fin des virtuose accordéoniste Wolmer Beltrami. Les 12 dispositions sont également publiés sous forme de livre. Ces 12 enregistrements magistralement exécutées et les arrangements sont d'une grande importance historique, et contribuera à préserver la mémoire du grand Wolmer Beltrami. Wolmer Beltrami (1922 - 1999), a joué dans de nombreux pays, et est considéré par beaucoup comme l'un de l'Italie de l'accordéon "grands". Dans l'après-guerre, il s'est associé avec d'autres accordéoniste italien Gorni Kramer dans le duo Kramer & Wolmer. En 1960 (CMA), la RMR de Beltrami attribué le prestigieux World Oscar pour ses services à l'accordéon. Il a ensuite été impliqué de près dans le cinéma, l'enregistrement de nombreux films. Beltrami le style est unique et très admiré, et il est tout aussi performants à domicile spécialités accordéon, jazz, musique de danse et de musique classique. |

 Sofia Gubaidulina sera à Florence pour deux concerts consacrés à sa musique, le 27 et 28 Juin, au cours de la neuvième saison de la Nouvelle-Concert Musical Events. Le célèbre compositeur russe participera au cours de la deuxième «Prix de la musique NEM 'événement. Le concert du 27ème Juin aura lieu dans le cadre prestigieux de la «Salone dei Cinquecento" au Palazzo Vecchio à Florence. Le programme comprend des concerts: Sofia Gubaidulina - «Sept paroles», et Alfred Schnittke - «Epilogue» (de «Peer Gynt»), pour violoncelle, piano et électronique. «Seven Words' est l'un des plus importants et des compositions magistrales par Sofia Gubaidulina. Écrit en 1982, elle est conçue en sept parties, pour violoncelle, accordéon et orchestre à cordes. L'orientation du texte et la musique est l'une des sept paroles du Christ sur la Croix, le célèbre Oratoire de Heinrich Schϋtz. Dédié à la violoncelliste et accordéoniste Vladimir Tonchi Friedrich Lips, le travail avait été créé en 1985 avec la dénomination «Lot». Le travail est caractérisé par un symbolisme qui le traverse de ses composantes. Pour donner un exemple des instruments, l'accordéon est un symbole de Dieu le Père, le violoncelle - le Fils de Dieu, de l'orchestre - le Saint-Esprit. Pour effectuer la "Sept mots" sera Francesco Gesualdi, l'un des grands accordéonistes et original dans la scène musicale italienne, et le célèbre violoncelliste Alexander Ivashkin, expert et spécialiste de la musique russe du XXe siècle.  Corinne et Serge Petronio, d'anciens élèves de l'école Accordéon Annemasse et à Genève, il ya une vingtaine d'années ont créé leur propre école Accordéon à L'Aquila, Abruzzo, Italie. Ils ont, avec leurs deux garçons, Michele et Matteo une maison dans la même ville. Au début d'avril 2009, en moins de 25 secondes, tous leurs beaux projets a disparu dans un tremblement de terre. Le bâtiment qu'ils ont vécu en était littéralement disparu. Ils ont eu juste le temps de fuir et de chercher refuge. Tout s'est effondré autour d'eux, d'avaler du mobilier, des instruments, des véhicules, etc Tous les quatre sont en vie, mais l'ensemble des fruits de leur travail sont détruits. L'Ecole de l'Accordéon Annemasse et à Genève a donc décidé d'aider à organiser un concert dans leur soutien. Monsieur T. Bouclier, directeur de l'école et son épouse Christine, amis d'enfance de Serge et Corinne, aimerait prendre contact avec des artistes qui aimeraient se joindre à leur projet. Ils invitent le plus grand nombre de personnes à participer à ce concert-bénéfice le vendredi 26 Juin 8.30pm, à l'Agora de Bonneville. Le programme comprend Les Frères Bouclier, l'accordéoniste Jean-Louis Noton, et célèbre violoniste William Garcin et son groupe de gitans. Les billets sont en vente à l'entrée. Un minimum de don de 10 € est proposé (5 € pour les enfants de moins de 12 ans). |

| 2009 Art Festival Daily Reports will be online. The program of the 3rd Accordion Art Festival is dedicated to all music genres, with the main objective being to enhance the entire accordion family. The Artistic Director is Renzo Ruggieri, and the President is Claudio Azzaro. The concerts take place in the church of St Rosario, Mosciano. The 3rd Accordion Art Festival opening concert takes place on June 19th, 9pm with the new accordion orchestra ‘Mantici Armoniosi’, directed by Maestro Paolo Picchio, Artistic Director of the historical international award “Città di Castelfidardo”. All day Saturday, June 20th, will be dedicated to the special ‘Italian Award’, with young candidates from all over Italy performing in front of a prestigious jury. An evening classical accordion concert will take place, featuring Massimiliano Pitocco (Professor of S. Cecilia in Rome and an international concert artiste), and Argentine guitarist Adrian Fioramonti. On Sunday June 21st, in the afternoon, the Italian candidates participating in the prestigious CMA World Trophy to be held in Portugal in September will be selected. In the evening, after the presentation of the book ‘Le Rotte della Musica’, by Fabio Ciminiera, another original initiative will take place – the ORPHEUS Award, an award by critics for the best Italian CD of 2008. Antonio Spaccarotella (winner of the prestigious International Award of Castelfidardo) and the internationally famous French accordionist Ludovic Beier will perform. 4ème 'Notou Sounadour’ Festival à Robilante – Italieby Rob Howard |

| Un succès considérable pour la 4ème édition de la Fête de l'Accordéon "Notou Sounadour" à Robilante en Italie. Les organisateurs, dont Walter Porro, redoublent d' efforts considérables pour l'organisation. Le but est de maintenir un niveau de qualité et d' améliorer l'organisation. La manifestation est organisée par l'association "il CRÉE MUSIQUE" du Centre social Luigi Buzzi. Les organisateurs ont confirmé et consolidé les objectifs auxquels ils croyaient avec cette initiative en Val Vermenagna, terre imprégnée maintenant depuis longtemps du son de cet instrument. Dans cette région il y a toujours cette passion des gens pour la musique traditionnelle et pour l'accordéon en général. La journée du samedi a été dédiée à l'accordéon diatonique (organetto) qui fait un retour significatif dans ces vallées. Le programme a débuté dans l'après-midi par la préparation des stands de collectionneurs et constructeurs provenants de localité différentes, et Italiennes. il y avait bien sur les organetti d'Emilano Borello et Elisa Tête, composants du groupe occitano Trigomigo. Se sont déroulés également des stages de perfectionnement: d'organetto mené par le principal Stefano du Vieux "Ciuma", Saufs et Tombesi, d'accordéon chromatique mené par le maître Walter Porro. Le soir, Ciuma (Emilie-Romagne), Saufs, Pouille et Tombesi (Vénétie), quelques -uns des meilleurs organettistes en Italie, ont proposé un concert très original, à partir de la tradition, pour arriver aux nouvelles formes de recherche sur les possibilités harmoniques. À la fermeture du concert, le trio, avec la dizaine de participants au stage de l'après-midi ont joué le passage "Choral" arrangé pour trois parties et appris dans l'après-midi. Il s'agit d'une composition de Ciuma et insérée dans la colonne sonore des deux derniers films d'Ermanno Ormes. La soirée s'est terminée avec une danse menée par les organettistes présents. La journée du dimanche a principalement été dédiée à l'accordéon chromatique à boutons avec des stands différents de collectionneurs et constructeurs provenant des centres les plus importants pour la fabrication de cet instrument, comme Castelfidardo (Ancône), Recanati (Macerata), Vercelli, Stradella (Pavia) En outre il faut signaler l'exposition d'accordéons du Val Vermenagna avec une soixantaine d'exemplaires exposés. Le moment clou de la journée a été le concert incroyable du duo sympathique Paris Moscou, la Française Domi Emorine et le Russe Roman Jbanov, un concentré de haute virtuosité, propreté de son et entente, uni à une capacité de transmettre des émotions fortes même dans les passages les plus simples. Au terme, il y a eu la remise du Prix "Notou Sounadour" pour le rôle significatif déroulé dans le cadre de la musique traditionnelle du Val Vermenagna à l'accordéoniste Giovanni Romana de Robilante. La soirée s'est terminée par de la musique traditionnelle avec des courantes et balets exécutés par une dizaine de joueurs du Val Vermenagna. |

 The publishing company Karthause Schmülling of Germany has developed an important new series for accordionists titled accordeon focus — a book-and-sound concept of famous accordion soloists and groups. Karthause Schmülling have now released Volume 3 by Andreas Hermeyer (accordion) and Konni Deppe (vocals). Andreas Hermeyer, master-class student of German accordion virtuosos Hans Rauch and Hubert Deuringer, has already presented himself successfully as an accordion soloist on three albums. In this new production, Andreas Hermeyer shows his ingenious and subtle jazz style in duet with worldwide performing jazz singer Konni Deppe. Their music is enriched with sensitive sounds of percussion, guitar, and double bass played by popular guest musicians. Well-known jazz standards, film classics, lyric songs and folk songs are finely spun and maginatively arranged by Konni Deppe (vocals) and Andreas Hermeyer (accordion). A musical delight not only for its artistic merit but also for the brilliant sound quality and the high quality book. |

 A striking event this spring was the exhibition of vintage harmonics bayans accordions and collected by collectors South Russia. It was organised by Arutun Barashjan who is also an accordion teacher and repairer. Rostov 2009 Vintage Exhibition photos.May 15, was the start of the exhibition. This exhibition opened with a concert by Alexander Poeluev, the winner of national and international competitions. Then the audience was given a presentation of the six-events organized by "Harmony" during recent months. The concert by Art Van Damme, Vladimir Danilin, the "100 th anniversary" of the bayan, jazz quartet Alain Musicini, Frank Marocco," Accordion plus. The work by the creative team "Harmony" was greatly appreciated. From 15 - 27 May, lovers and admirers of bellow instruments were able to view the rare instruments, and professional musicians were able to learn the features of these instruments. The exhibition presented 30 instruments (21 from the Rostov region, 5 from Germany, 2 from Moscow, 1 from Italy and 1 from Poland), varied in appearance, construction and sound characteristics. The exhibition included instruments from last century to the late 1930's, these rare instruments all owned in the Rostov Region. Also included was a display of various interesting construction design and mechanical tools. The instruments featured skilful displays of colored stones, wooden and metal artwork, painted designs and manufacture with fine designs in the wood and the case, to create a palette of colors of musical instruments. A warm and happy atmosphere prevailed May 27 at the Museum of Modern Fine Arts in the closing date of the exhibition! There was a small concert, which was attended by: Regional winners of the recent area contest, students of Gnesin Music School Philip and Leon Gagaloyan, students of Rostov State Conservatory, laureate of international competitions Marija Ternavskaya, Victor Skolozubov, author of harmonica tutor books.  The International Accordion Competition Ascoltate organized by the Kaunas Accordion Society was held in Prienai, near Kaunas in Lithuania from 5th -7th June. Director of the festival Mindaugas Labanauskas was delighted to welcome to the festival over 100 contestants in the various solo and ensemble categories from Finland, UK, Austria, Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Russia, Moldova and Slovenia. The International Jury consisted of Viatcheslav Semionov (Russia), Raymond Bodell (UK), Eduardas Gabnys (Lithuania), Mirco Patarini (Italy) and Roman Pechmann (Austria). Ascoltate 2009 photos. Outstanding Grand Prix winners were accordion ensemble “Concertino” (Moldova), Duo Alesia Kozhukh & Natallia Litvinchyk (Belarus), and soloists Maria Obukhova (Russia) and Laimonas Salijus (Lithuania). | The Akkordeon Spielgemeinschaft Erlangen, (near Nürnberg) of Germany during their visit to Italy, made a stop in Castelfidardo, on Tuesday, June 9th. The accordion orchestra was founded in 1954 by Erwin Hoehn and has a repertoire ranging from light entertainment music, original compositions, to classical music. The Cultural Department of the Castelfidardo City Hall had organized an afternoon concert in the centre of the town. Nice weather conditions, not too hot temperatures made this afternoon event a very enjoyable occasion for all! |

| Canadian singer and accordionist Richard Tyce performs in ’Tribute to Jussi Björling’ - an open air concert (under tent!), honouring the great Swedish tenor, on Sunday June 21st, 4pm, at the Scandinavian Midsummer Festival in Burnaby, B.C. The venue is the Scandinavian Community Centre, 6540 Thomas Street., Burnaby, B.C. Jussi Björling, who died in 1960, was a tenor who succeeded Caruso to the heights of super-stardom. Richard Tyce says: “I will be singing pieces that Jussi Björling's silvery voice was known for, like ‘Torna a Surriento’, and excerpts from French opera, like Massenet's ‘Manon’. | ‘Summer on the Hudson’ is one of New York City’s largest free summer festivals. The six-month series, from May 3rd until October 11th, is an annual summer arts and cultural festival in Riverside Park South, presented by The New York City Department of Parks & Recreation. All events are free. On Saturday, July 11th, 3pm until 10pm, the 4th annual NYC Main Squeeze Accordion Festival takes place at Pier I, West 70th Street, NY.
