 В 2015 году состоится Первый международный фестиваль аккордеонного искусства китайского Шэньчжэня, организованный Китайской Аккордеонной Ассоциацией и правительством Шэньчжэня в июле 2015 года.На фото слева профессор Ли Цун, президент Китайской Аккордеонной Ассоциации, и ниже Цзяньхуа Тон (Jianhua Tong), президент Аккордеонной Ассоциации провинции Шэньчжэнь. В рамках фестиваля состоится крупный международный конкурс аккордеонистов. Правила, категории и полная информация ближайшее время появится на сайте www.accordions.com/china/shenzhen/ Также пройдут концерты, массовые выступления, мастер-классы и форумы по вопросам развития аккордеонного искусства и промышленности. Город Шэньчжэнь является наиболее привлекательным местом для такого мероприятия. Шэньчжэнь – большой современный город с приятным климатом, расположенный недалеко от международных аэропортов Гонконга и Гуанчжоу, предлагающих отличный выбор цен на авиабилеты из большинства стран с удобными внутренними перевозками в Шэньчжэнь.  5 ноября очень популярный аккордеонист Пино Ди Модуньо отпраздновал свой 80-й юбилей. 15 ноября город Бари организовал необычайный концерт с участием симфонического оркестра, и весь «семейный ансамбль Ди Модуньо» также выступил в зале Showville.Пино Ди Модуньо (аккордеон), его сыновья Нандо (гитара) и Вито (виртуоз игры на фортепиано и органе Hammond), его племянник Вито-младший (бас) и Мино Петруцелли (ударные). Дирижировал оркестром известный сицилийский музыкант Четтина Донато. Пино играл волшебно, в своей типичной необычной манере, захватив внимание зрителей своим разнообразным репертуаром, включающим ряд хорошо известных сочинений, таких как танго Пьяццоллы, некоторые "вечнозеленые" хиты поп-музыки и популярные пьесы для аккордеона, например «Головокружительные пальцы» и «Тико-Тико». Среди аудитории в 700 человек находился владелец фабрики 'Beltuna Accordions’ Арнальдо Mенгачини (Arnaldo Mengascini) и его жена (фото слева), который подарил Пино Ди Модуньо новый аккордеон.  Проспект с правилами и условиями аккордеонного фестиваля и конкурса южнотихоокеанского региона 2015, который состоится в Окленде в последний уикенд мая (30 и 31) 2015 года, можно скачать здесь: 2015 NZ ProspectusПравила участия в международных категориях соответствуют правилам конкурса «Кубок мира». Концертная категория соответствует категории ‘Masters’, эстрадная категория соответствует категории ‘Virtuoso Entertainment’. Юниоры (до 18 лет) соревнуются по правилам 1 тура соответственных категорий «Кубка мира». Дата окончания приема заявок 12 апреля 2015 года.  Максимум 10 участников могут принять участие в программе мастер-классов по современному аккордеону (с ориентацией на варьете и джаз), которую проведет Антонио Спаккаротелла с 3 по 9 января.Зимний лагерь направлен на реализацию международных культурных обменов и обучения новейшим технологиям игры на современном аккордеоне.Мастер-классы будут проходить в кампусе в прекрасном портовом городе Джардини-Наксос, Сицилия. Мероприятие включает в себя мастер-классы для большинства оркестровых инструментов и фортепиано.  The 2015 ‘Accordion Babes’ calendar is now available. As usual, all the ladies featured are accordionists, not models, and the calendar includes a CD featuring each of them. Renee de la Prade, the producer, writes, “This year's calendar is the best one yet; the first year we've had a Brazilian artist (Adriana Sanchez); and the first time I get to collaborate with a celebrated fantasy novelist (Peter S. Beagle) to produce a song together for the album. The calendar is also very sleek-looking because it's ad-free this year. I love the CD and I love our art. There will be a small shipping charge too, $6 in the U.S. and $12 in foreign countries. (That's for the 5 calendar deal.  Marieke Grotenhuis’ career is full of projects. In her profession as accordionist, she performed both in theatres, orchestras, musical, as soloist and with important directors.As accordionist, she performed with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestram with Mauricio Kagel and with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. Marieke has played as a soloist in the following ensembles: the New Ensemble during the Gaudeamus Music Week conducted by Otto Tausk, the Asko-Schoenberg Ensemble. Talking about theaters and musicals, Marieke is often being asked in various productions including The Appel, Stella Den Haag, Artemis Den Bosch and musical theatergroup Hollands Diep. She has worked with the following directors: Geert de Jong, David Geysen, Frans Weisz, Hans van den Boom, Cilia Hogerzijl and Floor Huygen. In December 2014, Marieke Grotenhuis is engaged with the recordings of some new pieces by Anke Brouwer for a new CD but you can see her back on stage from January 2015! |

| The Accordions Worldwide news for the week ending December 15th 2000 included news from Amsterdam of an accordion club holding a meal and concert open to all residents in their locality. What a great way to dispense the spirit of Christmas and promote the accordion at the same time. ‘Christmas for the Neighbourhood’ – Netherlands Contributed by Hillebrand van der Veen The Amsterdam Accordion Club Forzando will hold a ‘Christmas for the Neighbourhood’ concert on December 17th in Buurthuis De Rietwijker, Amsterdam Noord, organized by both Forzando and the management team of De Rietwijker. The event aims to encourage the public to join in the Christmas festivities and enjoy a buffet meal. The orchestra will perform a special Christmas program. |

| On Friday December 19th the Craven Accordion Orchestra (MD Harry Hinchcliffe) will be hosting another of the very popular Club Nights at Crosshills Social Club, raising funds for the North Central Area Accordion Championships and Yorkshire music festival. The evening starts at 7.30pm and will have a host of artists performing, including Thom Hardaker on his return from Russia and many who have been successful at the recent area festival held in Bingley. The 200 club draw that raises on-going capital for the festival will be in evidence and also a raffle again proceeds to the festival funds which is organised by the Craven Accordion Orchestra. Admission is free. The Craven Accordion Orchestra UK Champions 2014 will be performing at the Club Night with a varied programme of repertoire used in concerts and seasonal music.  Accordionists Manny Corallo and Frank Toscano will be the guests at the Long Island Accordion Alliance meeting on January 7th, 6pm. The concert takes place at La Villini Restaurant, 288 Larkfield Road, East Northport, New York.Manny Corallo, a composer, arranger and music editor, was taught the accordion and piano by Frank Toscano. His passion for music has seen him compose and arrange music for commercials, cartoons and movies, and for do arrangements for other artists. Frank Toscano has been a professional musician and teacher for more than 47 years. He has run the ‘Frank Toscano School of Music’ since the 1960s.
