Das vergangene Jahr hat eine große Anzahl und Vielfalt von Akkordeon Veranstaltungen aus aller Welt berichtet. Dabei waren viele neue Aufnahmen und Kompositionen, Videos etc. zu sehen. Leider musste sich Akkordeonwelt auch von einigen bemerkenswerten Persönlichkeiten verabschieden…. Wenn unsere wöchentlichen AWW Nachrichten für Sie interessant waren, dann freut es uns und ich möchte mich bei allen bedanken, die regelmäßíg Neuigkeiten an Akkordeons Weltweit weiterleiten.  Das 2015 erste China Shenzhen Internationale Akkordeon Art Festival wird das erste jährliche internationale Akkordeonkunst -Festival in China sein und von der Stadt Shenzhen, der China Akkordeon Assoziation und der Shenzhen Regierung in Juli 2015 stattfinden.Bild links (oben) Prof. Li Cong Präsident der China Akkordeon Assoziation und (unten) Jianhua Tong, Präsident der Shenzhen Provinz Akkordeon Assoziation. Beltuna und die Stadt Bari feiert Pino Di Modugno 80. Geburtstag - Italienby Holda Paoletti-Kampl |

 Am 5. November feierte der sehr beliebte Akkordeonist Pino Di Modugno seinen 80. Geburtstag. Am 15. November hat die Stadt Bari ein außergewöhnliches Konzert mit dem Sinfonieorchester und der "Di Modugno Familienband" organisiert.Pino Di Modugno mit dem Akkordeon, seine Söhne Nando (Gitarre), Vito (ein wahrer Virtuose Klavier und Hammond-Orgel), sein Neffe Vito Jr (Bass) und Mino Petruzzelli (Schlagzeug). Das Orchester wurde von Cettina Donato, einer berühmten sizilianischen Musikerin dirigiert. Pino selbst spielte wie immer magisch, in seiner gewohnten außergewöhnliche Art und Weise, spannend für das Publikum mit seinem abwechslungsreichen Repertoire, das eine Reihe von bekannten Liedern, wie die Tangos von Piazzolla, einige "Evergreen" Pop-Musik und beliebten Akkordeon Repertoire wie Dizzy Fingers und Tico Tico enthielt. Unter dem 700 starken Publikum waren die Besitzer der Beltuna Akkordeons, Herr Arnaldo Mengascini und seine Frau (Bild links), der ein neues Akkordeon als ein Geschenk an Pino Di Modugno überreichte. Dieses neue Instrument (Beltuna Geist-Modell) wurde speziell für Pino Di Modugno entworfen, der es sofort für den Rest des Konzerts spielte. (Musiknoten von Pino Di Modugno sind erhàltlich vom Wurzburger Musikverlag) Ein weiteres besonderes Gastgeschenk an diesem Abend war die Teilnahme des Direktors des Konservatorium Santa Cecilia in Rom, der einer der ersten Studenten von Pino Di Modugno war und heute ein großer Freund von ihm ist und dessen Teilnahme eine absolute Ankunft Überraschung für das Geburtsagskind war! |

 Der Prospekt (mit Vorschriften) für die 2015 South Pacific Akkordeon Meisterschaften und Festival, in Auckland vom Samstag, 30. Mai bis Sonntag, 31. Mai 2015 ist jetzt verfügbar unter: 2015 NZ ProspektDie Südpazifik internationalen Konzertmusikkategorie hat genau die gleichen Regeln wie die des Coupe Mondiales. Meldeschluss ist 12. April 2015. 5. Naxos Winter-Camp Moderne Akkordeon Meisterkurse - Italienby Antonio Spaccarotella |

 Für maximal 10 Teilnehmer - ein Programm Meisterkurse für modernes Akkordeon (mit Varieté und Jazz-Orientierung) mit Antonio Spaccarotella, vom 03 bis 9 Januar. Das Winter-Camp ist an einem internationalen Kulturaustausch und dem Erlernen der neuesten Techniken des modernen Akkordeons bemüht.Die Meisterkurse werden auf einem Campus in der schönen Hafenstadt in Giardini-Naxos, Sizilien durchgeführt. Broschüre: 2015Naxos Man kann als tatsächlicher Spieler oder auch als Hörer teilnehmen. Die besten Kandidaten werden Stipendien, Konzertmöglichkeiten und andere Arten von Unterstützung für die künstlerische Weiterentwicklung erhalten.  The 2015 ‘Accordion Babes’ calendar is now available. As usual, all the ladies featured are accordionists, not models, and the calendar includes a CD featuring each of them. Renee de la Prade, the producer, writes, “This year's calendar is the best one yet; the first year we've had a Brazilian artist (Adriana Sanchez); and the first time I get to collaborate with a celebrated fantasy novelist (Peter S. Beagle) to produce a song together for the album. The calendar is also very sleek-looking because it's ad-free this year. I love the CD and I love our art. There will be a small shipping charge too, $6 in the U.S. and $12 in foreign countries. (That's for the 5 calendar deal.  Marieke Grotenhuis’ career is full of projects. In her profession as accordionist, she performed both in theatres, orchestras, musical, as soloist and with important directors.As accordionist, she performed with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestram with Mauricio Kagel and with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. Marieke has played as a soloist in the following ensembles: the New Ensemble during the Gaudeamus Music Week conducted by Otto Tausk, the Asko-Schoenberg Ensemble. Talking about theaters and musicals, Marieke is often being asked in various productions including The Appel, Stella Den Haag, Artemis Den Bosch and musical theatergroup Hollands Diep. She has worked with the following directors: Geert de Jong, David Geysen, Frans Weisz, Hans van den Boom, Cilia Hogerzijl and Floor Huygen. In December 2014, Marieke Grotenhuis is engaged with the recordings of some new pieces by Anke Brouwer for a new CD but you can see her back on stage from January 2015! |

| The Accordions Worldwide news for the week ending December 15th 2000 included news from Amsterdam of an accordion club holding a meal and concert open to all residents in their locality. What a great way to dispense the spirit of Christmas and promote the accordion at the same time. ‘Christmas for the Neighbourhood’ – Netherlands Contributed by Hillebrand van der Veen The Amsterdam Accordion Club Forzando will hold a ‘Christmas for the Neighbourhood’ concert on December 17th in Buurthuis De Rietwijker, Amsterdam Noord, organized by both Forzando and the management team of De Rietwijker. The event aims to encourage the public to join in the Christmas festivities and enjoy a buffet meal. The orchestra will perform a special Christmas program. |

| On Friday December 19th the Craven Accordion Orchestra (MD Harry Hinchcliffe) will be hosting another of the very popular Club Nights at Crosshills Social Club, raising funds for the North Central Area Accordion Championships and Yorkshire music festival. The evening starts at 7.30pm and will have a host of artists performing, including Thom Hardaker on his return from Russia and many who have been successful at the recent area festival held in Bingley. The 200 club draw that raises on-going capital for the festival will be in evidence and also a raffle again proceeds to the festival funds which is organised by the Craven Accordion Orchestra. Admission is free. The Craven Accordion Orchestra UK Champions 2014 will be performing at the Club Night with a varied programme of repertoire used in concerts and seasonal music.  Accordionists Manny Corallo and Frank Toscano will be the guests at the Long Island Accordion Alliance meeting on January 7th, 6pm. The concert takes place at La Villini Restaurant, 288 Larkfield Road, East Northport, New York.Manny Corallo, a composer, arranger and music editor, was taught the accordion and piano by Frank Toscano. His passion for music has seen him compose and arrange music for commercials, cartoons and movies, and for do arrangements for other artists. Frank Toscano has been a professional musician and teacher for more than 47 years. He has run the ‘Frank Toscano School of Music’ since the 1960s.
