Il est professeur de l’accadémie des arts de l’armée de libétation du people chinois, president honoraire de l’association d’accordéon de l’association des musiciens de Chine, professeur à temps partiel au conservatoire de musique de Chine, et professeur émérite au college des arts de l’université normal de Pékin. " Il fut le superviseur du guild de l’accordéon de Pékin et le directeur élu de la 5ième commission musicale et sociale de l’association des musiciens de Chine ainsi que l’accordéoniste en titre de l’ensemble du département de politique générale de l’armée populaire de Chine.’ Photos: 1. Le 13 octobre, Tiit Kalluste played a donné un concert avec son quintet au festival de jazz “Jazzkaar” qui se déroulait au musée d’art Kumu à Tallinn. A la fin du concert, le secrétaire général du CIA, Kimmo Mattila, a donné à Tiit cette médaille pour rendre homage à sa remarquable carrière d’accordéoniste et sa collaboration étroite avec le CIA. Kimmo Mattila, le secrétaire general du CIA a déclaré: “J’aime beaucoup la musique de Tiit Kalluste et sa merveilleuse façon de jouer de l’accordéon. Il s’est forgé un style personnel aux confins du jazz traditionnel, et de la musique nordique contemporaine. Son concert avec de jeunes musiciens fut tout simplement magnifique !. » La confédération internationale des accordéonistes (CIA) est une organisation mondiale qui comprend 43 organisations membres à travers le monde. Le CIA a été fondée en 1935 et est une des plus vieille institution musicale dans le monde. Le CIA est membre du conseil international de la musique, qui est officiellement partenaire avec l’UNESCO. L’association estonienne de l’accordéon (Eesti Akordioniliit) est un member à part entire du CIA depuis 2004. En mars dernier, Eesti Akordioniliit a accueilli le congrès d’hiver du CIA à Tallinn. Tiit Kalluste fut le president de Eesti Akordioniliit de 1999 à 2011 et durant cette période, l’association fut reconnue comme premier member votant du CIA. La médaille du mérite du CIA est la plus haute récompense au sein de l’organisation mondiale de l’accordéon. Elle est attribuée chaque année à un ou deux musiciens qui se sont distingués par leur carrière exceptionnelle à l’accordéon. Cette médaille est octroyé par l’assemblée génériale du CIA et reflète ainsi une reconnaissance et approbation mondiale. Cette année, ma médaille du mérite du CIA a aussi été attribuée au chinois (Crystal) Wang Congyu. |

 Le concert d’hiver de l’orchestre symphonique de Menomonee Falls (MFSO – photo ci-dessous) avec l’accordéoniste Stas Venglevski (photo à gauche) aura lieu le 14 décembre. Le concert s’intitule “Contes et fantaisies de noel" et se tiendra au Hamilton Fine Arts Center à Sussex dans le Wisconsin, à 7.30pm.Au programme: "La marche des petits soldats de plomb", "Perce neige", et "Le pays des jouets". Stas interprétera un concerto de Galla-Rini, ainsi que des extradites de Casse noisette et autres musiques populaires de noel. Stas est un accordéoniste, musician, arrangeur, concertiste et professeur.  Le 35ième festival international d’accordéon se tiendra dans le hall blanc de l’université polytechnique de St Petersburg du 27 octobre au 2 novembre 2019. Le directeur artistique du festival depuis 35 ans est l’artiste émérite de Russie, le professeur Dmitriev (photo à gauche).  The XII International Accordion Composition Competition “Francisco Escudero” was held in Hernani, Gipuzkoa last month.The objective of the contest is to promote the creation of pieces for solo accordion and for accordion in chamber music. The competition jury comprised of Zuriñe Fernández Gerenabarrena, Eugenia Luc and Iñaki Alberdi.  Accordion and bandoneón player Julien Labro will perform at St. Bonaventure University’s Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts in New York on October 18th at 7.30pm. This is the second concert in the 2019-2020 Friends of Good Music performance season.In a concert entitled “The Art of the Accordion,” Labro will guide the audience through the history of accordion and bandoneon, performing works by Albeniz, Bach, Scarlatti, a French medley, tangos by Astor Piazzolla, and some compositions of his own.  Accordionist Sergey Osokin will hold a concert and masterclasses in Surgut, Russia from October 24th to 28th. The Masterclasses will be held at the Surgut College of Music, St. Enthusiasts, d. 28 in Surgut. Subjects to be covered are original masterwork by accordion, baroque and romantic styles. The concert will be held on October 26th in the College Organ Hall at 6pm. Sergey will play his own arrangements such as “C'est si bon” by Henri Betty and “Whispering” by Paul Whiteman.  The “Lemon Bucket Orkestra” will perform a Halloween concert with Slava Doval Dance Fusion & The Oxygen Orkestar at Spiritbar at the Hume Hotel in Nelson on October 31st. The group which includes accordionist Marichka Marczyk along with trumpet, saxophone, guitars, violins, trombone, percussions and vocalists play music based on musical traditions of the Balkan region, such as Balkan, klezmer, gypsy and punk.   The Midland Accordion Festival will be held at the Quality Hotel Dudley, Birmingham Road in Dudley, UK from November 1st to 4th. The festival will include daytime activities, accordions to try & buy, lessons and evening concerts. | Registrations are underway for the IDEAS Symposium 2.0 for Digital Accordion which will be held at the Avalon Inn & Resort in Warren, Ohio from November 6th to 10th, 2019. This year’s event will include a new approach which has been designed to assist digital accordion enthusiasts to learn the technology of their digital instruments. The technology department of GR8 IDEAS Symposium 2.0 have orchestrated a set of classroom type sessions with hands on training that will build up your technical knowledge so that you can achieve your goals artistically and creatively. The classroom sessions are organized into three levels: Tech Level I, II, III to grow your knowledge from your starting point. Tech Level I will focus on operation fundamentals, menu navigation, backup, restore, sets and user programs, and sound selection. Tech Level II will focus the next stage of learning with topics such as user program creation, combining sounds, organ and percussion programming, sound editing and recording. Tech Level III will focus on advanced programming, MIDI configuration, effects usage and editing, comprehensive discussions on User Programs and Sets, as well as student initial topics.  Uruguayan folklore band “Fuelles Salteños” (picture below) will perform their Uruguayan traditional music at the Gran Festival Salto Ciudad which will be held at Parque Vaimaca Piru (Indigena) on November 9th and 10th.
