 On Saturday February 19th, at 10pm, accordionist Sergio Pinget will participate in the nationally televised semi-finals of the ‘Talento Argentina’ show, presented by the Argentinean TV channel Telefe. Contestants are voted through stages each week by in telephone voting after the show. Each show features 9 contestants. The telephone number is 4717 8444. The finals take place on Saturday March 19th, 10pm. Good luck to Sergio! Sergio Pinget (born 1984), from the city of Columbus, competed at festivals, and became an accomplished and well known concert performer, leading his band. In 1998, as his reputation grew in Argentina and also in Brazil, he released his first CD, ‘Comenzando con fe’, followed by ‘Pa que conozcan el chamamé’ and ‘Con el canto nacional’.
