  La semaine artistique d’été de l’accordéon 2020 à Harbin en Chine est organisée par le ministère de la culture et du tourisme du parti de République de Chine et par la mairie du people d’Harbin sous l’égide de l’Université d’Harbin en Chine.Cet évènement s’intègre dans le 35ième festival de musique d’été d’Harbin. Harbin a été nommée « ville de la musique » par l’Unesco en 2010. Du 27 au 31 juillet 2020, Harbin se transformera en ville de la musique, avec des musiciesn parmi les plus grands accordéonistes entrant en compétition et se produisant dans l’auditorium de l’Université d’Harbin. Il y’aura des concerts, des stages et une grande compétition internationale d’accordéon. Il est le président de l’association de musique de la province d’Heilongjiang. L’expert en chef du projet priorité culture et de la ligue de l’Université de la province d’Heilongjiang Province en Chine. Le professeur Wang Hongyu a mené de main de maître la semaine artistique internationale de l’accordéon Harbin 2010, Harbin 2012, Harbin 2014, Harbin 2016, Harbin 2018, et les compétitions qui ont attiré plus de 500 participants dont de nombreux étrangers. |

 Le 6ième festival Philharmonika 2020 festival se tiendra le 19 janvier 2020 à Berlin-Dahlem dans l’église Jesus Christus à l’impressionante acoustique, sous l’égide de la société Pantonale. Le concert de gala intitulé “l’Europe à Zehlendorf” comprendra des musiciens internationaux de renom qui interpréteront un large répertoire allant du classique à la musique d’aujourd’hui - jazz et folklore. Il débutera à 18h. Parmi les interprètes, l’accordéoniste et compositeur Gorka Hermosa et son trio Malandro Club (trompette, contrebasse, accordéon – photo ci-dessous), vous emmènerons vers un ailleurs. Egle Bartkeviciute (Lithuanie), marquera le public de sa musique expérimentale et de son jeu élégant chargé d’émotion. Le jeune et talentueux Ryan Corbett (Ecosse), Nikita Gestrich (Allemangne), Sergey Osokin (Russie – actuellement soliste à l’orchestre philarmonique de Moscou – photo de gauche), et Yuri Shishkin (Artiste d’honneur de le Fédération Russe) seront les vedettes du spectacle.  Que faites vous la Journée de l’accordéon (World Accordion Day - WAD) pour promovoir l’accordéon dans votre pays ?La journée de l’accordéon est le 6 mai, qui est le jour où l’accordéon a été inventé en 1829. La journée de l’accordéon a été créé en 2009 par le CIA et a rencontré beaucoup de succès depuis, donnant une image positive de l’accordéon. Un des maillons essentiels de cet évènement est le site web de la Journée de l’accordéon. Chaque association, groupe, orchestre, joueur ou enseignant sont priés de soutenir activement cet évènement en proposant ce jour-là, dans leur pays, des activités nationales et locales autour de l’accordéon. Cela peut s’organiser aussi le week end d’avant ou après si c’était plus commode. Chacun peut inscrire son activité pour la journée de l’accordéon sur le site web et envoyer a posteriori un compte rendu qui sera publié sur le site. Aucun évènement n’est trop gros ou ni trop petit. Tous les évènements liés à l’accordéon pour célébrer la journée de l’accordéon seront les bienvenus. C’est une campagne organisée par le Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA) pour l’accordéon où tout féru d’accordéon peut participer, le but étant de renforcer les liens de la communauté autour de l’accordéon et de promouvoir l’instrument. |

 Le Tradfest 2020 de la ville de Dublin se tiendra au Church Café, restaurant et bar nocturne de Dublin en Irlande, du 20 au 26 janvier. 7 jours de musique et danses traditionnelles irlandaises avec 40 musiciens, danseurs, experts, affluent de toute l’Irlande et l’Europe pour 14 rendez-vous. | Le XXXI ième (31ième) Festival "Bayan et Bayanists" fut l’occasion de premières mondiales notamment pour deux pièces du compositeur moscovite, Roman Galiev. Une première pièce fut interprétée la semaine dernière. Cette semaine sera présenté, "Portrait" pour accordéon solo et violon alto, orchestre à cordes, piano et deux batteries. Le compositeur partage son énergie bouillonante avec l’auditeur. Tout le tissus de sa composition est saturé avec délice de rythme et mélodie. La pièce de concert a été interprété par les solistes suivants : Arseniy Strokovskiy - accordéon. Michiru Soeda (Japon) – violon alto, "Seasons" – Orchestre de musique de chambre de Moscou, dirigé par l’artiste honorifique de Russie, Vladislav Bulakhov. Le public du festival a chaleureusement accueilli les artistes et applaudi cette première. Roman Galiev fut invité à monter sur scène où lui et ses interprètes furent couverts de fleurs et d’applaudissements. |

This is a special version as it contains all the arrangements for ensembles: orchestra, string rchestra, strings with rhythmic section, small groups and the added piano score adaptable to all arrangements. It's part of a university thesis (2013) and it is certainly a piece used all over the world. | The 2020 PIF Classic & Ensemble Composition for Accordion Competition is now open. This year the competition organisers have chosen an unprecedented, agile and highly contemporary formation. A modern rhythmic section combined with a section of standard woods to interpret the annual theme of the festival: “All the Colors of the World”. This subject was chosen to represent the evolution of the accordion in modern times and to encourage its integration in contemporary classical music. The regulation (while not distorting traditional writing), acts as a stimulus for new generations of composers to create new orchestrations and new sounds. Competition requirements: Instruments include: accordion, piano (electronic keyboard option), contrabass, percussion 1 (chosen by the composer), percussion 2 (chosen by the composer), flute (ottavino option), oboe, Bb Clarinet (sax option any type), horn in F and bassoon. The composer must take into account that the winning piece will be performed by the candidates admitted to the third round of the classic award category (2020). Duration: must be between a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 8 minutes Must contain at least one part “solo” for accordion. Soloists will perform only one rehearsal with the orchestra before the final performance There are no registration fees. Composers are invited to enter online on the PIF site by April 20th, 2020 in PDF format (score WITHOUT NAME OF THE AUTHOR and score WITH NAME, the detached parts will be requested later) and an MP3 audio demo performed live or through music software. If the piece is composed by several artists, the recording must be made in the name of the main composer, indicating all the other names on the score.  Accordionist Sylvia Pagni performed a concert entitled “Amami a Swing Project” at the Teatro Manzoni in Milan on January 7th, 2020.The concert, which was well received by the audience, included pieces from her upcoming CD “Sylvia Pagni Amami a Swing Project” which will be released this year, thanks to the collaboration of musicians Giorgio Secco, Fabio Crespiatico, Max Furian, Mark Harris, Gabriele Comeglio, Raffaele Kohler and Luciano Macchia. Sylvia Pagni opened the show with "The Flight of the Bumblebee", demonstrating her mastery on the piano by playing almost at the speed of Guinness World Records. She then continued with "Ping and Pong" (a fast paced swing piece), then "Needless Solitude – Love Me" (Bepop). Sylvia Pagni also sang along with two choristers Antonio Galbiati and Deborah Falanga who gave a swinging and sensual interpretation of Jessica Rabbit and Diana Krall styles. Sylvia Pagni then recalled her time at the "Teatro La Scala in Milan" by playing two pieces of classical music on the piano before leaving the stage. She then reappeared with her accordion to play “Libertango” and “Oblivion” (by Piazzolla) before once again returning to the piano to play "Musica Musica". Sylvia Pagni and her musicians (pictured below) were overcome with emotion amid the standing ovation and pleasure the audience showed at their performance. |

| The 35th annual 2020 Illawarra Folk Festival began on January 16th at the Show Pavilion, Princes Highway Bulli, NSW in Australia and will run until January 20th organised by the Illawarra Folk Club. The event will include performances by international and national artists. “Jaga Band” (pictured above), which includes accordionist Tatjana Marx will entertain on January 17th. The group is an Australian fresh minded multicultural ensemble that play popular Eastern European melodies with a focus on Carpartian melodies from Ukraine, but also include Hungarian, Jewish, Slovak and Romanian songs and dances. | Video: Sharena Sol Orchestra The Sharena Sol Orchestra will perform a concert entitled “Swing de France” at the Oude Libertas Amphitheatre in Stellenbosch, South Africa on February 2nd at 6.30pm. The group includes Cape Town musicians Stanislav Angelov (accordion), Dave Ledbetter (guitar & piano), Petrus de Beer (violin), Charles Lazar (double bass) and Lilavan Gangen (drums).  The 48th Kleine Tage der Harmonika (Small Days of the Accordion) regional competition will be held in Klingenthal, Germany from February 29th to March 1st, 2020.The event is to encourage young accordionists 19 years and under from the Free States of Saxony, Thuringia and Bavaria, from the Czech Republic and various host states to meet and demonstrate their skills in fair competition and to gain competition experience.  Le prospectus (règlement) pour les championnats et festival du Sud Pacifique 2020 auront lieu à Auckland le samedi 30 mai dimanche 31 mai Saturday 30 Mai 2020 et est maintenant disponible en ligne à: 2020 NZ ProspectusLes règles pour les catégories internationales suivent de près les règles de la Coupe Mondiale. La catégorie internationale « musique de concert » a exactement les mêmes règles que celles de la Coupe. La catégorie « mondiale masters » et la catégorie « variété sud pacifique » a exactement les mêmes règles que la catégorie « virtuose variété » de la Coupe Mondiale. De la même manière, la catégorie « variété sud Pacifique junior » (moins de 18 ans) et la catégorie « concert solo sud pacifique junior » a les mêmes règles que le premier tour de la catégorie « junior » pour la Coupe Mondiale. La date de clôture pour les inscriptions est le 17th Avril 2020.
