IV Internationaler Wettbewerb & V Internationales Festival " Akkordeon Plus" - Russlandby Alexander Poeluev |
Vom 27. bis 31. März 2014 wird der IV Internationale Wettbewerb und das V Internationale Festival " Akkordeon Plus“ durchgeführt. Diese Veranstaltungen werden von der Abteilung für Kultur von Rostow -am-Don und dem Internationalen Musikzentrum "Harmonie " organisiert. Der Wettbewerb umfasst Klassik, Unterhaltungsmusik und Ensemblekategorien für Spieler bis zu 32 Jahren (die Konkurrenten werden in verschiedene Kategorien je nach Art der Musik und Alter eingeteilt). Die Konzerte des Festivals werden in den größten Konzerthallen von Rostow stattfinden. Viele berühmte Musiker, einschließlich: Yuri Schischkin, Daniil Cramer ( Jazz-Pianist ), Alexander Skliarov , Mario Stephano Pietrodarki , Eugene Derbenko , Vasilij Pianoff , Vladimir Murza , Alexander Poeluev und viele andere werden bei diesem Event auftreten. Konzert-Premiere für das "Chinesische Neue Jahr", Metz - Frankreichby Harley Jones |
Am Freitag, 17. Januar, 08.00 Uhr, im l'Arsenel de Metz, Frankreich, wird die Weltpremiere von "Dun.Wu", ein Doppelkonzert für Akkordeon, Klavier und Orchester, komponiert von Chengbi AN präsentiert. Diese Arbeit wird von Fanny Vicens (Akkordeon, Bild rechts), Sae-Jung Kim (Klavier) und dem Orchestre National de Lorraine von Jacques Mercier aufgeführt werden. Fanny Vicens (geb. 1987) studierte Akkordeon, Klavier und Musikwissenschaft am Perpignon Konservatorium Trossingen (Deutschland), Luzern (Schweiz) und an der Sorbonne in Paris. Sie hat als Solist und Kammermusiker in vielen Ländern, mit zahlreichen Ensembles auf dem Gebiet der zeitgenössischen Musik gearbeitete. 10. Internationaler Akkordeonwettbewerb, Beltinci - Slowenienby Harley Jones |
Der 10. Internationale Akkordeonwettbewerb findet in Beltinci, Slowenien, vom 8. bis 11. Mai statt und wird von Murska Subota und der Musikschule Beltinci organisiert. Der Wettbewerb bietet Sektionen mit verschiedenen Altersklassen für Solo-Akkordeon in klassischer und Unterhaltungsmusik, Kammermusik-Ensembles mit Akkordeon, diatonisches Akkordeon solo, Akkordeon Orchester und die Musik von Slavko Avsenik und Vilko (Solisten). Das CT- Tango Ensemble präsentiert am 25. Januar um 20.00 Uhr, im Artscape Theater Centre, DF Malan St, Küstenvorland , 8001 Kapstadt, Western Cape ihre neue CD " Tango Dreams '. Die CD enthält Musik von Astor Piazzolla, einige traditionelle Tangos, Milongas und Walzer Stücke, sowie Originalstücke von Stanislav Angelov und Charles Lazaar. CT Tango Ensemble mit: Stanislav Angelov sind ( Bandoneón, Akkordeon und Vibrandoneon), Petrus de Beer ( Violine ), Albert Combrink (Piano) & Charles Lazar (Kontrabass). Im Album gibt es mehrere Gastkünstler, die auch an diesem spektakulären Abend teilnehmen werden: Melanie Scholtz (Vocals), Juan Simon (Vocals), Dan Shout (Saxophon), Peter Narun (Gitarre) & Kevin Gibson (Drums). 41. Kleine Tage der Harmonika, Klingenthal - Deutschby Harley Jones |
am 2. und 3. März 2013 in Klingenthal. Junge Akkordeonisten aus den Freistaaten Sachsen, Thüringen und Bayern, aus der Tschechischen Republik sowie den Gastbundesländern Sachsen-Anhalt und Brandenburg treffen sich hier, um im fairen Wettstreit ihr Können zu demonstrieren und neben den begehrten Preisen auch Wettbewerbserfahrung zu gewinnen. Für viele Teilnehmer der vergangenen Jahre war diese Veranstaltung der Grundstein für ihre Teilnahme am alljährlich im Mai in Klingenthal stattfindenden Internationalen Akkordeonwettbewerb. Die „Kleinen Tage der Harmonika“ sind ein lebendiges Beispiel für die Realisierung des Völker verbindenden Gedankens der EUREGIO EGRENSIS und gleichzeitig ein fester Bestandteil im kulturellen Leben unserer Stadt und der Region. |

It was standing room only as Henry performed well-known pieces, demonstrating the versatility of the accordion. The Accordions Worldwide news for the week ending January 21st 2000 included an item about a master class taking place in Bulgaria. We have not heard from Bulgaria recently, and wonder what accordion activities are going on nowadays. January Master Class – Bulgaria Contributed by Tsvetana Kojuharova from ‘Accordion Magic’ A master class organized by the Bulgarian Accordion Organization (BOA) together with the Pleven High Music School will be held on January 21st and 22nd in Pleven. The event will include lessons on ‘Bulgarian Folklore and Variete’, by Neno Koichev (Chairman of the BOA Music Council), ‘Classical and modern music’, by Diana Stancheva, and ‘Arrangements for chamber ensembles’, by Georgi Mitev. Approximately 25 participants are expected. |

Texas Folklife announces its eighth annual Big Squeeze accordion contest for up-and-coming Texas musicians, 21 years of age or younger being players in all genres of the Lone Star State’s accordion-based music, including German, Czech, and Polish polka; Creole, and Cajun zydeco; and conjunto, norteño, and Tejano. The Big Squeeze 2014 talent showcases: · February 1: Houston Creole Festival · February 8: La Joya High School · February 9: McDonald Public Library in Corpus Christi · February 22: Texas Polka Festival & Symposium in Schulenburg · February 23: MECA [Multicultural Education and Counseling through the Arts] in Houston · March 23: Latino Cultural Center in Dallas · March 29: Los Fresnos High School · April 4: Gallista Gallery with Conjunto Heritage Taller in San Antonio The nine finalists will be announced on April 11. The finalists will perform at the Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin on Saturday, April 26. Three Grand Prize Winners will be selected. On Saturday January 25th, 10am, there will be a Folkworks Winter Workout Day on ‘Accordion technique – especially the left hand’ at The Sage, Gateshead. The course is aimed at Intermediate / Advanced standard players, and the tutor is Ian Lowthian. There will also be courses for fiddle, flute, guitar and other fretted instruments taking place.
