  Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA) Secretary General Kimmo Mattila writes: "The CIA congratulates the 2022 Coupe Mondiale host, the CIA member accordeon.ch upon attracting 83 entries from 23 countries for the 75th Coupe Mondiale in Zofingen, 4-9 October 2022."Even as we witness devastating war in Ukraine and Covid still causing problems, this second "live Coupe Mondiale" with live jury and contestants is clearly very popular with teachers and competitors. Additionally, the CIA has received 60 delegate registrations from 29 national members for the CIA International Congress with many Delegates also participating as jury for the Coupe Mondiale World Accordion Championships. CIA President Mirco Patarini writes: “We are very happy to have such a large number of competitors, delegates and jury members present for the 75th Coupe Mondiale. We will have a great event with real music in a live situation.
