  El 14 de julio de 2017, Moreno Pieroni, Director de Turismo de la Región de Marche, realizará una conferencia de prensa conjunta con Simone Pugnaloni, Alcalde de Osimo y Roberto Ascani, Alcalde de Castelfidardo para promover a los medios de comunicación locales y nacionales italianos, el 42º Concurso Internacional de Acordeón del PIF en Castelfidardo, entre el 10 y 17 de septiembre, y la 70º versión de la Coupe Mondiale en Osimo, entre el 5 al 10 de septiembre.Moreno Pieroni dijo que estos dos importantes eventos culturales en la región está “registrando muchas notas positivas” y colaboraciones entre ciudades vecinas. Moreno Pieroni rindió homenaje al alcalde de Castelfidardo, Roberto Ascani, a su concejal de Cultura, Ruben Cittandini, al alcalde de Osimo, Simone Pugnaloni, y al teniente de alcalde, Mauro Pellegrini, debido a que las ciudades están "compartiendo este camino que es un gran valor para ambas ciudades". "La sinergia entre Castelfidardo y Osimo se expresará en la promoción del acordeón y la cultura musical junto con el turismo, la calidad de los alimentos y los productos vitivinícolas". En la conferencia de prensa indicó que ambas ciudades están planeando promociones del acordeón a nivel local e internacionales en los próximos meses. También se realizarán eventos promocionales de acordeón en las ciudades cercanas de Camerano, Numana, Loreto y Recanati.  On May 22nd Denise Leigh (operatic soprano) and Stefan Andrusyschyn (accordion) were the much awaited guest artists for the evening performance at the Black Country Accordion Club in the West Midlands. The evening began with a thirty minute spot by the well-known local accordionist Ray Izod, who used to be a regular performer at Club Accord in Birmingham. Since Ray retired he has been able to devote his time to the accordion and now he is playing very well indeed and we are always pleased to welcome him to our club. He played a popular selection of tunes which included a few well known continental pieces and finished his performance with ‘Pietro’s Return’. Stefan began his programme with a selection of popular classical pieces and made this very interesting with varied comments and stories including a remarkable escapade of chasing from the airport to Kiev and back again to collect his new accordion. Denise, famous for her performance at the opening of the Beijing Olympic Games, began with a very impressive ‘Ave Maria’. She followed this with one of the classics from ‘The Merry Widow’, namely ‘Vilia’. Stefan then began his final selection playing his own version of ‘Beautiful Days’, which seems to be everyone’s favourite. The ‘Barber of Seville’ followed and ‘The Carnival of Venice’, which was absolutely stunning. This has been their third visit to our club and this amazing couple will always be very welcome. |

 On Sunday June 18th, 4.30pm, Giancarlo Caporilli, Professor of Accordion at the Conservatory in Rome, performs in concert at the Teatro Communale, Recoaro Terme, Italy.Giancarlo Caporilli, virtuoso accordionist and composer, has performed in France, Spain, Romania, Netherlands, Yugoslavia, Switzerland, Canada, and the UK. His compositions are often used in national and international competitions, and he frequently serves as a jury member. He has many awards and successes to his credit, including the ‘Enrico Caruso International Prize 2000’ and on May 15th 2008, at the Astra Theater in Castelfidardo, Italy, directing the ‘The Musictech Digital Accordion Orchestra’, the world's first digital accordion orchestra produced by the Musictech of Castelfidardo. |

 The Bradford Accordion Band (MD Anita Basic) perform in concert on Thursday June 22nd, 7.30pm, at Addingham Memorial Hall, Main St, Ilkley, West Yorkshire LS29 0PD.Formed in 1997, the Bradford Accordion Band has 23 accordionists plus a drummer and keyboard player and performs a wide-ranging repertoire that includes classical, pop, folk, continental and show music. |

Admission: €16 and €14.The Castletown Accordion Orchestra is delighted to be hosting a second Mid-Summer Classical Concert in the lovely surroundings of the Ramor Theatre. | The 31st annual Long Beach Bayou Festival takes place on June 24th and 25th at Rainbow Lagoon Park, (at Linden Ave & Shoreline Dr), Long Beach, CA; Saturday: 11am - 9pm, Sunday: 11am – 7.30pm. The Long Beach Bayou Festival, with its family-friendly Mardi Gras atmosphere and music on three stages, has added some new features for 2017. In addition to great blues, Zydeco and Cajun music, dancing, dance instruction, kids activities, a Mardi Gras parade, and crawfish and watermelon eating contests, the festival has added a Costume Contest with prizes, Pony rides for the kids, and Instrument clinics conducted by the Grammy-winning Pine Leaf Boys, T Broussard (of T Broussard & the Zydeco Steppers) and others. | After the success of the first Accordion Festival of Malta, that was held during Easter time this year, another accordion activity will be held on 6th October, to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the Santa Maria Accordion Band under the Founder and Director Mro. Marthese Busuttil Cassar. It will be held at Fatima Hall, St Monica Street, Guardamangia/Pieta.
