  Le festival et le concours Sata-Häme Soi ont eu lieu la première semaine de juillet à Ikaalinen, en Finlande.Le festival comprenait la finale des compétitions d'Accordéon d'Or et d'Argent, qui a été diffusée en direct sur Alfa-TV. Le programme télévisé en direct de 2 heures a été regardé par 0,5 million de personnes, ce qui représente une audience vraiment énorme en Finlande avec une population de 5,5 millions de personnes. Retrouvez l'intégralité du programme TV sur : https://www.permanto.fi/fi/web/alfatv/player/vod?assetId=111348353 La compétition Golden Accordion 2021 a été extrêmement serrée, finalement à égalité de points (dix à égalité et neuf à égalité) pour les deux meilleurs joueurs. Résultat historique final = deux gagnantes Sonja Lampinen et Vilma Wiren photo ci-dessus. Le gagnant de l'accordéon d'argent est Annabel Heikola (photo ci-dessus). Le jury était dirigé par Raimo Vertainen (membre du comité musical de la CIA) et l'émission télévisée en direct était animée par Kimmo Mattila et Lola Odusoga, ancienne Miss Finlande. Le festival Sata-Häme Soi se poursuivra à Ikaalinen du 13 au 15 août, lorsque nous organisons plusieurs événements sur la scène du parc et des concerts dans l'église et la maison d'Oma Tupa. |

| Le Symposium de l'école d'été et la Journée de la musique 2021 se tiendront les 31 juillet et 1er août 2021 à Borculo, Gueldre aux Pays-Bas, sous l’égide de la Foundation for National Project-based Accordion Education Il sera également possible de participer en ligne. La fête de la musique du 1er août est une journée musicale à vocation sociale, qui comprendra une interprétation en groupe de « The show must go on » (Queen) & Air (J.S. Bach). Ellen Zijm (photo en haut à gauche), travaillera avec des joueurs expérimentés sur Kunst der Fugue [J.S. Bach] pour expérimenter les détails, la qualité sonore et la profondeur musicale en tant qu'ensemble. Annemarieke van der Ploeg (photo en haut au milieu avec des lunettes), Lieke op 't Roodt (photo en haut 2e à partir de la droite) et Ilse Kok (photo en haut à droite) travailleront avec des joueurs de tous niveaux des musiques du monde. Øivind Farmen Nouveau CD "Mon Accordéon Classique" - Norvègeby Harley Jones |
 Øivind Farmen a été au cours des 30 dernières années l'un des principaux accordéonistes norvégiens de renommée internationale. Onze ans se sont écoulés depuis son dernier album solo. Il a estimé que le moment était venu de choisir une sélection personnelle d'œuvres de son répertoire actuel. Ainsi est né son nouvel album "My Classical Accordion".Le répertoire se compose de musique qu’Øivind Farmen aime jouer et, pour diverses raisons, il a un lien fort et personnel. La plupart des œuvres sont des premières en tant qu’enregistrement à l'accordéon, et d’autres musiques n’ont jamais été enregistrées auparavent. La musique s'étend de la période baroque à la période classique jusqu'aux compositeurs de notre temps. |

| L'accordéoniste Tracey Collins rejoindra le casting du populaire "Operaunity" (chanteurs d'opéra professionnels) pour leur tournée de juillet et août en Nouvelle-Zélande intitulée "Luck of the Irish". Certains membres du comité de l'Association d'Accordéon de Nouvelle-Zélande ont tenté d'acheter des billets pour le concert d'Orewa, à Auckland, mais la représentation était déjà complète ! La tournée d'Operatunity visitera 26 sites à travers le pays du 9 juillet au 13 août 2021, et comprendra "des ballades, des jigues et de la gaieté à couper le souffle. Concert "Musique Sans Frontières", Moscou - Russieby Arseniy Strokovskiy |

 Un concert intitulé « Musique sans frontières » aura lieu dans la magnifique cathédrale catholique romaine de Moscou, le 13 août 2021 à 21h.Les interprètes incluent Arseniy Strokovskiy (accordéon) et Ivan Dyma (saxophone) membres du Duo SaxAkkord qui seront rejoints par Michiru Soeda (violon) et Igor Goldenberg (orgue). Alors que Covid-19 a remis en cause la liberté de mouvement à l'échelle internationale ainsi que la capacité d'entendre des musiciens d'autres pays en direct, ce concert réunit des musiciens de trois pays - Russie, Japon et Allemagne.   The 32nd Haapavesi Folk Music Festival took place in Haapavesi, Finland from July 1st to 3rd, 2021. During the concert the duo played melodies from Pirot and the Balkans, original songs, but also popular music from around the world. | The Guildford Accordion Club have planned a meeting for July 23rd, 2021 at the Cobham Village Hall in Cobham, England, providing Government restrictions allow. This will be a free evening to welcome members back to the club. Players are welcome to join in a variety of favourite songs such as Alexander's Ragtime Band, Are You Lonesome Tonight, Beer Barrel Polka, Chattanooga Choo Choo, If You Knew Susie and many more.  Accordionists Jamie Maschler and Gabe Hall-Rodrigues (picture right) will give accordion workshops at the Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival in Fairbanks, Alaska from July 26th to 30th, 2021.Accordion Courses as follows: • “Accordion For Kids” - Open to kids aged from 5 to 12. Come try out an accordion! This workshop will give a demonstration of how the accordion works, including a look at the inside and a chance to see and touch all the parts, along with the opportunity for your child to play one. Instruments will be provided and private lessons will be available during the week. • “Accordion - Playing through Tunes” Ages 18+ We will walk through a variety of different styles featuring accordion i.e. Latin, Norwegian, and French and talk about a few tips and tricks to play more authentically and relaxed. There will be written arrangements for two or more accordions. We will have the opportunity to share these at the final concert series. Beginners welcome. • “Accordion Workshop” Ages 18+ Jump deeper into accordion. Learn about the accordion mechanics, and some theory that allows you to open up opportunities on the accordion. Different bass accompaniment outside of our typical 3/4 and 4/4 patterns. This will include chord combining techniques and some bellows tips. Must be able to read music.  The 2021 Sidmouth Folk Festival will be held from July 30th to August 6th as an open air event in the Blackmore Gardens in Sidmouth, Devon, England.The event will feature all day entertainment, street theatre, stalls, food court and evening concerts. Entertainers include Granny’s Attic (Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne (melodeon), Scottish trio Talisk (which includes concertina player Mohsen Amini - picture below) and Saul Rose (melodeon - picture left). John Kirkpatrick will conduct a Concert Band Workshop online from Monday to Friday between 9.30 and 11.00 am. Music will be available via the festival website. | Joseph Natoli will present a two-day online workshop on “Music Composition” and a special online concert, organised by Not Just Oompah! (NJO). The Zoom Workshops are scheduled for: August 23rd and 24th from 7pm to 9.30pm PM Central Time each night. These workshops will focus on Composing Music and will include: Critical Elements in Composition & Arranging, Alternative Stradella Chord Voicings with examples, Using Accordion Registers Effectively (How to Orchestrate Possibilities Beyond That Master Switch), and How to Play Musically which is more than just notes to consider. The Zoom Concert will be held on August 22nd from 3pm to 4pm Central Time and feature a variety of music from Joe’s creative collection. This concert is free to those taking part in the workshop.  Registrations are now open for the “Free Reeds Unlimited” workshop, held at the Hohner Conservatory in Trossingen, Germany from October 1st to 3rd, 2021.Tutors Konstantin Reinfeld and Frank Haunschild (picture right) will focus on improvisation and harmony interplay and accompaniment. The weekend will begin with a lecturers' concert on October 1st, followed by workshops and clinics on October 2nd. On Saturday evening, both lecturers will coach an open session with course participants before Reeds-Unlimited ends on Sunday morning with further workshops and an internal final presentation around noon.
