Ergebinesse_Sata-Häme Soi Festival Wettbewerb - Finnlandby Kimmo Mattila President, Finnish Accordion Association |
Das Sata-Häme Soi Festival und der Wettbewerb wurden in der ersten Juliwoche in Ikaalinen, Finnland, abgehalten. Das Festival beinhaltete das Finale des Goldenen und Silbernen Akkordeonwettbewerbs, das live auf Alfa-TV übertragen wurde. Das 2-stündige Live-Fernsehprogramm wurde von 0,5 Millionen Menschen gesehen, was in Finnland mit einer Bevölkerung von 5,5 Millionen Menschen ein wirklich großes Publikum ist. Historisches Endergebnis = zwei Gewinnerinnen Sonja Lampinen und Vilma Wiren Bild oben hinten. Die silberne Akkordeon-Gewinnerin ist Annabel Heikola Bild oben vorne. Die Jury wurde von Raimo Vertainen (Mitglied des CIA-Musikkomitees) geleitet und die Live-TV-Show wurde von Kimmo Mattila und Lola Odusoga, der ehemaligen Miss Finnland, moderiert. |

2021 Summerschool Symposium und Musiktag - Niederlandeby Christine Johnstone |
Das Summerschool-Symposium und der Musiktag 2021 finden am 31. Juli und 1. August 2021 in Borculo, Gelderland, Niederlande statt, organisiert von der Stiftung für nationale projektbezogene Akkordeonausbildung Es wird auch die Möglichkeit zur Online-Teilnahme geben. Der Musiktag am 1. August ist ein sozial orientierter Musiktag, der ein gemeinsames Einspielen mit "The show must go on" (Queen) & Air (J.S. Bach) beinhalten wird. Ellen Zijm (Bild oben links), wird mit erfahrenen Spielern an Kunst der Fuge [J.S. Bach] arbeiten, um Details, Klangqualität und musikalische Tiefe als Ensemble zu erleben. Annemarieke van der Ploeg (Bild oben Mitte mit Brille), Lieke op 't Roodt (Bild oben 2. von rechts) und Ilse Kok (Bild oben rechts) werden mit Spielern aller Niveaus mit Weltmusik arbeiten. Øivind Farmen Neue CD "Mein klassisches Akkordeon" - Norwegenby Harley Jones |
Øivind Farmen war in den letzten 30 Jahren einer der führenden norwegischen Akkordeonisten mit großem internationalen Renommee. Elf Jahre sind seit seinem letzten Soloalbum vergangen. Er fühlte, dass jetzt die Zeit reif ist, eine persönliche Auswahl von Werken aus seinem derzeitigen Repertoire zu treffen, die zu dem Album "My Classical Accordion" geworden ist. Das Repertoire besteht aus Musik, die Øivind Farmen gerne spielt und zu der er aus verschiedenen Gründen eine starke persönliche Bindung empfindet. Die meisten Werke sind Ersteinspielungen für das Akkordeon, und einige der Musikstücke sind Weltersteinspielungen. Die Musik reicht von der Barockzeit über die Klassik bis hin zu Komponisten unserer Zeit. |

Die Akkordeonistin Tracey Collins wird sich der Besetzung der beliebten "Operatunity" (professionelle Opernsänger) für deren Juli und August Tournee durch Neuseeland mit dem Titel "Luck of the Irish" anschließen. Einige Mitglieder des Komitees der New Zealand Accordion Association versuchten, Karten für das Konzert in Orewa, Auckland, zu kaufen, nur um festzustellen, dass diese Vorstellung bereits ausverkauft war! Die Tournee von Operatunity wird vom 9. Juli bis 13. August 2021 landesweit 26 Veranstaltungsorte besuchen und wird "atemberaubende Balladen, Jigs und Jollity beinhalten, Sie werden Irland in Ihrem Herzen haben, um sicher zu sein!" "Musik ohne Grenzen" Konzert, Moskau - Russlandby Arseniy Strokovskiy |
Am 13. August 2021 um 21 Uhr findet in der wunderschönen römisch-katholischen Kathedrale in Moskau ein Konzert mit dem Titel "Musik ohne Grenzen" statt. Zu den Interpreten gehören Arseniy Strokovskiy (Akkordeon) und Ivan Dyma (Saxophon), Mitglieder des SaxAkkord Duos, die von Michiru Soeda (Violine) und Igor Goldenberg (Orgel) begleitet werden. The 32nd Haapavesi Folk Music Festival took place in Haapavesi, Finland from July 1st to 3rd, 2021. The festival offers music from different cultures all over the world, especially Scandinavian, Celtic and North American music. During the concert the duo played melodies from Pirot and the Balkans, original songs, but also popular music from around the world. The Guildford Accordion Club have planned a meeting for July 23rd, 2021 at the Cobham Village Hall in Cobham, England, providing Government restrictions allow. This will be a free evening to welcome members back to the club. Players are welcome to join in a variety of favourite songs such as Alexander's Ragtime Band, Are You Lonesome Tonight, Beer Barrel Polka, Chattanooga Choo Choo, If You Knew Susie and many more. Accordionists Jamie Maschler and Gabe Hall-Rodrigues (picture right) will give accordion workshops at the Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival in Fairbanks, Alaska from July 26th to 30th, 2021. Accordion Courses as follows: • “Accordion For Kids” - Open to kids aged from 5 to 12. Come try out an accordion! This workshop will give a demonstration of how the accordion works, including a look at the inside and a chance to see and touch all the parts, along with the opportunity for your child to play one. Instruments will be provided and private lessons will be available during the week. • “Accordion - Playing through Tunes” Ages 18+ We will walk through a variety of different styles featuring accordion i.e. Latin, Norwegian, and French and talk about a few tips and tricks to play more authentically and relaxed. There will be written arrangements for two or more accordions. We will have the opportunity to share these at the final concert series. Beginners welcome. • “Accordion Workshop” Ages 18+ Jump deeper into accordion. Learn about the accordion mechanics, and some theory that allows you to open up opportunities on the accordion. Different bass accompaniment outside of our typical 3/4 and 4/4 patterns. This will include chord combining techniques and some bellows tips. Must be able to read music. The 2021 Sidmouth Folk Festival will be held from July 30th to August 6th as an open air event in the Blackmore Gardens in Sidmouth, Devon, England. The event will feature all day entertainment, street theatre, stalls, food court and evening concerts. Entertainers include Granny’s Attic (Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne (melodeon), Scottish trio Talisk (which includes concertina player Mohsen Amini - picture below) and Saul Rose (melodeon - picture left). John Kirkpatrick will conduct a Concert Band Workshop online from Monday to Friday between 9.30 and 11.00 am. Music will be available via the festival website. Joseph Natoli will present a two-day online workshop on “Music Composition” and a special online concert, organised by Not Just Oompah! (NJO). The Zoom Workshops are scheduled for: August 23rd and 24th from 7pm to 9.30pm PM Central Time each night. These workshops will focus on Composing Music and will include: Critical Elements in Composition & Arranging, Alternative Stradella Chord Voicings with examples, Using Accordion Registers Effectively (How to Orchestrate Possibilities Beyond That Master Switch), and How to Play Musically which is more than just notes to consider. The Zoom Concert will be held on August 22nd from 3pm to 4pm Central Time and feature a variety of music from Joe’s creative collection. This concert is free to those taking part in the workshop. Registrations are now open for the “Free Reeds Unlimited” workshop, held at the Hohner Conservatory in Trossingen, Germany from October 1st to 3rd, 2021. Tutors Konstantin Reinfeld and Frank Haunschild (picture right) will focus on improvisation and harmony interplay and accompaniment. The weekend will begin with a lecturers' concert on October 1st, followed by workshops and clinics on October 2nd. On Saturday evening, both lecturers will coach an open session with course participants before Reeds-Unlimited ends on Sunday morning with further workshops and an internal final presentation around noon.
