Der 38. VAMÖ-Akkordeonwettbewerb 2023 wird am 25. und 26. Februar 2023 bei Yamaha Music Europe GmbH in Wien, Österreich, stattfinden. Heinz Ebenstein, MBA, Leiter der Akkordeonabteilung, hat angekündigt, dass die Kategorien 1A, 1B und 1C am 25. Februar 2023 und die Kategorien 2 und 3 am 26. Februar 2023 ausgetragen werden. Toppershoedje 2023 Orchestra Weekend – Netherlandsby Christine Johnstone |
The 2023 Toppershoedje Orchestra Weekend will take place at the Bungalow Park Toppershoedje (picture below) in Ouddorp, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands from February 3rd to 5th, 2023. The event is organised by NOVAM (Nederlandse Organisatie Voor Accordeon en Mondharmonica). Accordionists Ronald van Overbruggen and Niek van Uden will conduct the orchestra. Die National Accordion Association (NAA) Convention wird vom 15. bis 19. März 2023 im Hilton Hotel, Richardson, Texas, USA, stattfinden. Auf der Convention werden 2023 Versionen amerikanischer Musik präsentiert, die als heutige Musik vermarktet werden können. Die Musik ist eine Kombination aus zeitgenössischer amerikanischer Musik, die von Einwanderern aus den USA stammt, die ihre musikalischen Werte und Traditionen mitbrachten, als sie sich dem großen amerikanischen Schmelztiegel anschlossen. The Lighthouse Function Center in Dargaville, New Zealand was filled to capacity for the 17th Afternoon of Music with Kevin Friedrich and Friends, a Variety Show featuring accordionists and entertainers from different parts of New Zealand. Report at: 2022Dargaville Accordionist Kevin Friedrich hosted his popular fundraising concert called ‘Christmas Joy’, on December 4th, 2022 at 1:00 PM. Presented by The Dargaville Museum, the 17th Afternoon of Music with Kevin Friedrich and Friends featured a variety of traditional and lighter themed Holiday music. Guest artists included the North Shore Accordion Orchestra, Anna Collins, Paul Jonson, Lionel Reekie, Jone Yelcich, Take 6, Linda Emmett Litt, Thomas Koloi, Rivertown Singers, Roslyn Gilmour, Alanah Jones, Maurice Jones, The Kaipara Ensemble, Sonja Whitehouse, Ian Bartlett and Jean Reid. The popular annual Holiday Show Concerts, which have been added to the annual regular season concerts, are a wonderful event for all ages, bringing the community and guests together for an afternoon of music and friendship. All proceeds are donated to the Dargaville Museum in support of their efforts to showcase the history of the community for future generations to enjoy. The Dargaville Museum hosts the only public accordion exhibition in the Southern Hemisphere “Accordion Gems, A Master Collection of Accordions Through Time”.
