 Ежедневные отчеты о конкурсе будут публиковаться онлайн, начиная с позднего вечера воскресенья 18 августа, по адресу: 2013Coupe.66 международный конкурс «Кубок мира» проходит с понедельника 19 августа по субботу 24 августа в канадском городе Виктория. Ежедневные отчеты, фотографии и прямые трансляции модно посмотреть на официальном сайте конкурса www.coupemondiale.org. Полное расписание смотрите на: 2013Coupe. В течение трех дней до начала «Кубка мира» состоялось несколько приветственных конкурсов, предваряющих начало основных состязаний. В пятницу прошли местные конкурсы, а в субботу и воскресенье состоялся международный конкурс оркестров, финал которого намечен на воскресный вечер. В воскресенье утром в центре города Виктория состоялся аккордеонный парад. Основные состязания конкурса «Кубок Мира» начинаются в понедельник утром. Официальный концерт-открытие намечен на вечер понедельника. 66 «Кубка Мира» в 2013 году принимает Аккордеонное Сообщество Британской Колумбии (BCAS) во главе с президентом Александаром Милоевичем (Aleksandar Milojevic) совместно с челном IMC-UNESCO Международной конфедерацией аккордеонистов (CIA). |

 Церемония закрытия аккордеонного конкурса “Parrot” («Попугай»), организованного Китайской ассоциацией аккордеонистов (CAA), состоялась 13 августа в Пекине. Всего за летний период в 4 национальных аккордеонных соревнованиях приняли участие около 2000 конкурсантов.Среди них: 1. Аккордеонный конкурс “Nanshan”. Состоялся 21 июля в городе Шэньчжэнь, провинция Гуандун.. 2. Конкурс исполнителей на клавишных инструментах "Chuncheng" (фортепиано, баян/аккордеон и двухмануальные клавишные инструменты). Конкурс состоялся 1 августа, в городе Куньмин, Юньнань. В конкурсе также приняли участие около 400 музыкантов из Юго-Западного Китая. 3. Конкурс исполнителей эстрадной музыки "Hohner" состоялся 5 августа в городе Лоян, провинция Хэнань. Около 900 участников из стран Ближнего Китая приняли участие в этом конкурсе. Фредерик Дешамп (Frederic Deschamps), председатель Музыкального Комитета CIA, в рамках конкурса провел мастер-класс. Итальянский аккордеонист, победитель «Кубка мира 2011» в Шанхае в категории исполнителей эстрадной музыки Пьетро Адранья (Pietro Adragna) и Эльза Гурди (Elsa Gourdy) из Франции выступили с концертом. 4. Аккордеонный конкурс “Parrot Cup” состоялся 10 августа в Пекине. В конкурсе приняли участие более 800 участников. 12 августа Китайская Аккордеонная Ассоциация (CAA) провела важную встречу, на которой присутствовали президент ассоциации Ли Цун (Li Cong – на фото слева), вице-президент Ван Шушэн (Wang Shusheng), Чэнь Цзюнь (Chen Jun), Чжан Гупин (Zhang Guoping), Ян Гули (Yang Guoli), Ду Нин (Du Ning), Генеральный секретарь Чжан Тиану (Zhang Tianyu), заместитель Генерального секретаря Кристал Ван (Crystal Wang) и Мэн Хуэй (Meng Hui). На встрече обсуждались дела Ассоциации и планировались крупных мероприятия на 2014 год. Всего было запланировано 5 крупных соревнований конкурсов: 1.Национальный конкурс комплексных университетов и педагогических колледжей, а также конференции по обмену опытом состоятся в мае, в Шанхае. 2. Конкурс исполнителей эстрадной музыки "Hohner" состоится в июле в городе Шэньчжэнь, провинция Гуандун. 3. Аккордеонный конкурс “Baidi” состоится в августе в провинции Шаньдун. 4. Международный фестиваль аккордеона “Harbin Summer” пройдет в августе 2014 года в городе Харбин, провинция Хэйлунцзян. Организаторы мероприятия – CAA и Министерство Культуры Китая. 5. Аккордеонный конкурс состоится в октябре в городе Ухань провинции Хубэй. Как и ожидалось, 2014 год в Китае обещает стать очень интересным и богатым на аккордеонные события. |

 Даты и места проведения выставки 'Craftsmen of Sound':Нумана (Palazzo Comunale), 25.08-01.09 Озимо (Teatro la Fenice), 7-18.09 Камерано (San Francesco), 28.09-12.10 Кастельфидардо (Auditorium San Francesco), 31.10-16.11 Лорето (Bastione Sangallo), 30.11-11.12 Реканати (Palazzo Comunale), 2014 год, даты не утверждены Клингенталь, Германия (Museo Comunale), май 2014 года 150 лет назад Паоло Сопрани (Paolo Soprani) начал первое массовое производство баянов и аккордеонов в Кастельфидардо. В то время невозможно было представить, что это начинание благодаря изобретательности, находчивости и страсти приведут к появлению узкоспециализированного производственного региона на этой территории. Город Кастельфидардо в содействии с городским музеем баянов, аккордеонов и гармоник решил организовать передвижную выставку, которая иллюстрирует исторический путь зарождения и развития производства этих музыкальных инструментов. Проект также включает в себя публикации и ряд конференций. Каждое шоу будет "персонализировано" в соответствии с принимающим городом и той ролью, которую он сыграл. Мероприятия организованы директором Музея Кастельфидардо Бенджамино Буджиолакки (Beniamino Bugiolacchi), фотографом Фабио Буши (Fabio Buschi) и художником-графиком Роберто Карлороси (Roberto Carlorosi) при поддержке местных органов власти и городов, где будет проходить выставка. В рамках этого мероприятия также будет представлена составленная кураторами выставки фотокнига "Craftsmen of Sound" («Мастера звука»). Книга опубликована издательством ‘Tecnostampa’.  Sylvia Prior, born in Los Angeles, California on March 14th 1922 passed away peacefully on August 9th 2013 in Ventura, California.Sylvia taught accordion and piano in Los Angeles and later in Oxnard for nearly 60 years, carrying on the business her father started in 1917. She loved teaching music and took great pride in knowing that she had touched the lives of countless students during her career. Sylvia was also closely involved with the Accordion Federation of North America (AFNA) in various executive positions for the association over many years. The most important thing in Sylvia's life, however, was her family, especially her two daughters. Sylvia was a devoted mother who taught by example the importance of kindness, generosity and compassion. She was one of a kind and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Sylvia is survived by her daughters Adrian Jo Guidotti (David Ross) and Sylvana Louise Guidotti, M.D. (Kevin Wells), as well as her sister Patricia Kessen (Willard) and her nephew Jeffery Kessen. She is also survived by many devoted friends and her faithful dogs Gina and Scout. Sylvia was predeceased by her big sister Dorothymae Nelsen, husbands Tito Guidotti and Richard Westhouse, and her niece and goddaughter Dorothy Lee Pabst. The family would like to thank the physicians and staff who cared for Sylvia at the Ventura County Medical Center and Victoria Care Center, especially Doctors James Helmer, Joseph Esherick and Jacqueline D'Orazio. The family is also grateful to Westwood Home Care and Sylvia's primary caregiver Mida who enabled her to remain in her home with her pets for her final years. Services will be held on Saturday August 17th at 11am at Santa Clara Mortuary and Cemetery, 2370 North H Street, Oxnard, CA. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Sylvia's memory to the Sisters of Notre Dame, California Province, 1776 Hendrix Avenue, Thousand Oaks, CA 91360, Attn: Advancement Office or to your favorite charity. |

| Shuang Ma, student of CNIMA J.Mornet music school performs Revelation composed by Sergei Voytenko. Yvon Body of CNIMA writes: This young Chinese woman has been an accordion teacher for children in Beijing, while she was studying China’s Arts and Traditions at University. After she had obtained a degree in that subject, she decided to dedicate herself to accordion, to reach a high instrumental level and to do a training course with the aim of a Master's degree in teaching. Ma Shuang travelled to France in December 2012 to study at the CNIMA J.Mornet music school for a full-time classical accordion training course (in American plan) over one year. Shuang achieved stunning progress, so much so, that after only six months of courses Jacques Mornet, the founder, and Nathalie Boucheix, the manager of the centre, presented her in international competitions. The video above is her performance at the international competition Montrond-les-Bains in 2013. CNIMA also prepared Ma Shuang for selection at HEMU, High Music School of Lausanne (Switzerland), educational partner of the CNIMA. After her successful application, Ma Shuang is now studying towards a Master's Degree (by 2014) with accordion option pedagogy, diploma recognized by the authorities of her country. Ma Shuang demonstrates that CNIMA J.Mornet teaches buttons and piano keyboard accordions equally. |

If one looks at the early years of Accordions Worldwide there were frequent items concerning accordion concerts, contests, and other events in Japan. Japanese Accordion Competitions – Japan Contributed by Toru Katou The Japan Accordion Association (JAA) will hold their 2nd ‘JAA Accordion Contest’ on August 29th at the Yotsuya Ward Citizens' Hall, Tokyo from 10 am. Contestants range in age from 6 to 67 years old, with participants from overseas. Competition judges include Stefan Hussong (Germany), Noboru Emori and Chikaie Yoshida. Guest accordionists include the Director of the JAA, Hideaki Yamaoka. |

 The highly accomplished and versatile US accordionist Guy Klucevsek visits Switzerland this weekend as a guest at the Alpentöne Festival. On Friday August 16th, 10.45pm, Guy Klucevsek performs in concert at the Alpentöne Festival, Altdorf, Switzerland. On Saturday August 17th he leads an all day workshop at this festivalon the topic of ‘Accordion Tribe’ music. Guy will coach the participants in preparing individual parts of several pieces from the ‘Accordion Tribe’ repertoire, which they will then play together.  ‘duistanz’ is a newly founded platform for contemporary dance by choreographers Avi Kaiser and Sergio Antonino, and the project ‘About Sky(s)’ is conceived especially for a very specific part of Duisburg's harbour, the ‘Garten der Erinnerung’.Performances of ‘duistanz’ and ‘About Sky(s)’ take place in Duisburg, in the Ruhr area from August 21st to 25th. Each evening of the performance will have a different theme. Involved will be The Kaiser-Antonino Dance Ensemble, visual artist Wolfram Lakaszus, soprano Janin Roeder, and accordionist Marko Kassl, who will perform music by amongst others Luciano Berio, Gerhard Stäbler, Georg Friedrich Händel, and some of his own compositions.
