 Austrian accordionist Marko Kassl has the following forthcoming concert dates – involving several premieres - in September and October:September 22nd, 12pm until 1pm – programme: Uraufführung Christian Banasik ‘Metropolitan II’; venue - Kunstpunkte 2018, U-Bahn Station Kirchplatz, St.Peter Kirche, Düsseldorf September 28th, 8pm – programme: Werke von Schülern der Kompositionswerkstatt David Graham; venue – In Front Festival 2018 – 30 Jahre GZM, Klangbrücke Aachen, Kurhausstr. 1, D-52058 Aachen October 5th, 7.30pm – programme: ART Ensemble NRW; venue - Werkstattkonzert, Rathaus Abtei, Rathausplatz 1, D-410 61 Mönchengladbach October 7th, 5pm – programme: Lieder von Mahler/Wolf/Hänschke; venue – Five o’Five o’clock, Evangelische Stadtkirche Moers, Klosterstr. 5, D-47441 Moers Marko Kassl performs as a soloist and as a member of the quintet Black Pencil Ensemble. He studied the accordion with Miko Väryrynen, Roman Pechmann, James Crabb and Mie Miki. He teaches at the Detmold Academy of Music in Germany, and at the Conservatory in Amsterdam.
