Informations sur le 3eme Roland Internationale V-Accordion Festival et Concours est en ligne à: 2009 à Rome Festiva (2009 Rome Festival)l. L'événement se tiendra à l'étourdissement, du prestigieux Auditorium Parco della Musica. La compétition finale internationale est la dernière des nombreuses compétitions nationales impliquant 15 pays, dont: Italie, Angleterre, Allemagne, Suède, Etats Unis, Pologne, Brésil, Canada, Espagne, Portugal, Nouvelle-Zélande, France, Belgique, le Japon et la Chine. ‘Sancybérie’ Festival Report, Auvergne – Franceby Roman Jbanov |
Après un grand succès du festival « Sancybérie »en France en Septembre dernier, où les duo « Double Jeu » (Félicien Brut et Pierre Laval) et « Paris-Moscou » (Domi Emorine et Roman Jbanov) de Saint-Sauves d’Auvergne ont partagé 7 scènes en Auvergne avec le « Quartet Siberien » du Prokopievsk et les jeunes danseurs du «Carrousel » de Leninsk-Kuznetzkii , la fondation gouvernementale de Kemerovo «Les Jeunes Talents du Kouzbass » avec la présidente Irina Kholkina et son équipe ont décidé de continuer ce début des relations culturelles entre la France et la Russie, en invitant le duo Paris-Moscou à partager les concerts à Kemerovo et Prokopievsk avec les talents régionaux. Le 24 octobre dans l’école musicale N°1 de Kemerovo la salle était pleine. Le concert a commencé par les jeunes accordéonistes Duzenko « duo Victoria », qui ont déjà eu l’occasion de passer en Auvergne pour se préparer et remporter le Grand Prix de Roubaix en octobre 2008. Ensuite Roman Jbanov et Domi Emorine ont présenté les nouvelles pièces pour duo du célèbre compositeur Franck Angelis: «Hommage a Paco », «ComAstor » et la 2ème partie de la suite « Impasse ». Le duo Paris-Moscou à proposé aux nombreux spectateurs le voyage musical entre la Russie et la France avec les arrangements sur les thèmes populaires français et russes. Ils ont proposé un style de concert particulier avec le contact direct entre les artistes et le public de Kemerovo et aussi de Prokopievsk. Là bas le concert a été ouvert par le « Quartet Siberien » . Ils sont revenus dans leur pays avec plein d’impressions et ont impressionné les français. Le chef d’ensemble Alexei Myasoedov a exprimé avec ses camarades les souvenirs émotionnels lors de conférences de presse qui ont précédé le concert. Après les concerts, les responsables municipaux ont remercié les artistes et en guise de reconnaissance pour le rapprochement franco-russe, le public s’est levé. Pour l’année 2010, le rendez-vous a été fixé sur le territoire sibérien durant le concours international d’accordéon à Kemerovo du 15 au 20 mai pour les expositions d’artistes français et de nombreux concerts dans la région de Kuzbass. Le festival franco-russe «Sancybérie » se prépare pour le début du mois de Septembre 2010 en Auvergne. |
Traverser la frontière: Accordion Music from Berlin - Allemagneby Rob Howard |
Vingt ans après la chute du Mur, l'orchestre d'accordéon Euphonia viendront présenter le travail de compositeurs de l'Est et Berlin-Ouest en deux concerts. Les 25 joueurs dans l'orchestre jouera la musique qui raconte de la liberté et de vie sans frontières. Cela présente le programme inhabituel, tout comme des chansons de travailleurs par Hanns Eisler, contemporaine - même d'avant-garde, sphérique - musique de l'accordéon, le Professeur Berlin Jürgen Ganzer, et la première d'une œuvre commandée par le pianiste de jazz Hannes Zerbe. Ces concerts seront également fonction de l'orchestre suisse 'Union Accordéoniste Mixte de Genève ", chef d'orchestre Pierre Krummenacher, et l'orchestre de la jeunesse" Akkorde.on Fire', chef d'orchestre Sonja Merz. NAO Espace Festivals a commencé! - UKby Anna Bodell of Charnwood Publications |

Le NAO Festival de la région saison 2009/2010 a débuté le 31 Octobre avec le Festival Zone Sud tenu à Wimborne Dorset organisé par Bob Downer, et s'est poursuivie le 8 Novembre où le Nord-Ouest Festival de la région a eu lieu à Fleetwood, Lancashire, organisé par Gina Brannelli. Photo de gauche: Anna Bodell (NAO Vice President), Frederick Parnell (arbitre) et Alexander Bodell (lauréat). Les deux festivals ont attiré de nombreux participants, et les arbitres Raymond Bodell (président de l'ICA), Colin Whitfield (NAO honorable Vice President), Douglas Ward, et Frederick Parnell ont eu droit à de nombreux spectacles et prometteur! Note la plus élevée 92 à partir des festivals passés par Frederick Parnell allé à Alexander Bodell - qui au total a été le bénéficiaire des 13 et Moins de Polka et Musette premiers prix. Performances louables, Très ont également été donnée par Adam Smith. Le prochain Festival de la région se tiendra dans les Midlands en Janvier. La série des Festivals Espace culminera avec les championnats du Royaume-Uni, qui se tiendra à Blackpool 23 au 25 avril 2010 à l'Hôtel Métropole, qui lui-même est déjà sold out! |

Aidar Gaynullin Performs in festival ‘Crescendo’, Pskov – Russiaby Herbert Scheibenreif |
From among all the many major centres of Russian business and cultural life, every year a new city is chosen to organize the annual festival ‘Crescendo’ of young stars of classical music. On the occasion of the 5th anniversary of this festival, one of Russia’s most ancient cities of Russia, Pskov, a capital of invaluable historical and cultural heritage, was to be the place. This idea was born when celebrating the 1100th anniversary of city back in 2003. Other events of the festival ‘Crescendo’ in 2009 took place in the cities of Moscow and New York. The best young performers, stars of the 21st Century were present to honour the jubilee of the festival. From Mozart to Piazzolla, from Liszt and Shostakovich to tango, ‘The tired sun’, the concert program amazed with brightness of contrasts, masterful technique in abundance, and effective works. It’s a rare possibility to enjoy the skills of Russia’s outstanding young musicians who have won world popularity, but not often appearing on Russian stages: Georgy Garanjan (saxophone), Maxim Rysanov (alto), Boris Brovtsyn (violin), Sergey Nakarjakov (flugelhorn), Ekaterina Mechetina (piano), Aidar Gaynullin (bayan), Andrey Ivanov (double-bass), Sergey Suvorov (violoncello), Igor Fedorov (clarinet), Alena Baeva (violin), Roman Boldyrev (piano), Denis Matsuev (piano). The leader of the concert – folk artist of Russia Svjatoslav Belza, the academic symphonic orchestra of the Moscow Philharmonic Society, MD Professor Jury Simonov, conductor and folk artist of Russia. |
Aintzina’s Debut CD, Donastia – Spainby Harley Jones |
The Spanish quartet Aintzina, based in northern Spain and specialising in Basque music, has released its debut CD, ‘Suitian’. An official launch was held on November 11th at the Koldo Mitxelena, Donostia. Yuri Shishkin Concerts and Masterclases – Chinaby Harley Jones |
On November 10th, the famous accordionist from Rostov-on-Don, Russia, Yuri Shishkin, performed in the Concert Hall of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music (CHINA). The concert program included the premiere in China of the Kusiakov Sonata No.5 ‘Monologue about the Eternity’. Among the audience were the leading teachers of nearly all the conservatories in China, as well as guests from other countries. The concert was very successful with superlative comments being made. The next day, Yuri Shishkin conducted master classes with students of the Shanghai Conservatory. The next concerts are in Shen Zhen (November 13th), Beijing (17th November ), Tianjin (18th November). |

The versatile brass quintet Chaconne, featuring special guest Karen Street on accordion, performed a 25th anniversary concert at the Cadogan Hall in London on November 11th. Alexander Poeluev Concert in Saransk - Russiaby Harley Jones |
On the 11 November, Alexander Poeluev, (winner of international competitions including the 2002 Coupe Mondiale) performed a concert for the Music School Saransk. Saransk city is situated in the Republic of Mordovia, south end of the Volga basin, which is part of the Russian Federation, being about 850 km from Moscow. Alexander Poeluev performed a full concert and also held a meeting with teachers and students of the Music School Saransk. On 11th November at the Shanghai Normal University College of Music was held the graduation concert of Xu Peng and other accordion students of the same year. In August 2009, at the Coupe Mondiale held in Auckland, New Zealand, Xu Peng won 2nd Prize in the International Piano Accordion category. Her program for the concert includes: 1. Mika Väyrynen Concerts in the Azores and Finlandby Kevin Friedrich |
Finnish accordionist Mika Väyrynen performed several concerts in the Azores at including at San Miquel on November 6th and Terceira on November 10th. Mika also presented a lecture at the Ponta Delgada Conservatory on November 9th, all activities being part of the Musica Azores Festival. This week Mika will premiere the new work ‘Preludes and Fugues for Solo Accordion Op. 95’, by renowned composer and conductor Aulis Sallinen on November 13th as part of the opening concert of festival ‘Lux Musicae’, and will be broadcasted by the NBC. The concert will also include works by Bach, Janacek and Korpijaakko. On November 19th, Mika will perform a concert at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. The concert will be available live at 7pm (Finland time) for online viewing and will include works by Kuzjakow, Korpijaakko, Kaipainen, Janácek, Scriabin, Sallinen, Hannikainen. (Total Improvisation with Multimedia) This project is based on total improvisation in a succession of lyricism, involving rhythmic up to noises instrumental. The effect is intense and spectacular thanks to the use of electronic (loops, environment simulators, video projection). The second CD, "Stories of Accordion Lived" performance has been enhanced with original short films that are screened during the improvisations. ZUM perform at the Cambridge Music Festival on November 26th, 8pm. The concert takes place at the West Road Concert Hall. The line-up of ZUM is: Adam Summerhayes - violin, Chris Grist - cello, Jani Pensola - bass, Dave Gordon - piano, and Eddie Hession – accordion. They describe their music as “…an acoustic meltdown - a cultural alchemy, where the world's music collides… an inspirational fusion of folk music traditions from around the world as they continue their mission to redefine world music. Salsa, bluegrass, klezmer, calypso and bebop complement masterpieces by Astor Piazzolla, music from the golden era of tango, addictive traditional gypsy melodies and dazzling virtuoso fiddling”. At 7.15pm there will be a Pre-Concert Talk in which Charles Evans will outline the social background of Tango Nuevo. |
